Welcome!

[edit]

Hello and welcome to Wikipedia. Thank you for your contributions. We appreciate encyclopedic contributions, but some of your recent contributions, such as your edit to the page Rape by gender, have removed content without a good reason to do so. Content on Wikipedia should not be removed just because you disagree with it or because you think it's wrong, unless the claim is not verifiable. Instead, you should consider expanding the article with noteworthy and verifiable information of your own, citing reliable sources when you do so. If you'd like to experiment with the wiki's syntax, please do so in the sandbox rather than in articles. The following links will help you begin editing on Wikipedia:

Please bear these points in mind while editing Wikipedia:

The Wikipedia tutorial is a good place to start learning about Wikipedia. If you have any questions, see the help pages, add a question to the village pump or ask me on my talk page. By the way, you can sign your name on Talk and discussion pages using four tildes, like this: ~~~~ (the software will replace them with your signature and the date). Again, welcome! —C.Fred (talk) 21:41, 27 April 2022 (UTC)[reply]

The source cited is a pdf that when download isnt anything. There is no source for what is written. No reference. Its not a disagreement its a lack of empirical data. NchaosF*ingFactChecker (talk) 21:45, 27 April 2022 (UTC)[reply]

There is an issue that your edit was destructive in that it only partly removed the reference. The PDF looked okay; I'll recheck in a sec. —C.Fred (talk) 21:46, 27 April 2022 (UTC)[reply]
And there is a 71-page PDF full of data. —C.Fred (talk) 21:48, 27 April 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Odd that I couldnt open it when I deal with pdfs frequently. I do accept that I did a messy edit, leaving behind partial code. Questioning the 13 December 2024. Seems unnecessary and messy as well. NchaosF*ingFactChecker (talk) 21:55, 27 April 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Your account has been blocked indefinitely because the chosen username is a clear violation of our username policy – it is obviously profane, threatens, attacks or impersonates another person, or suggests that you do not intend to contribute positively to the encyclopedia (see our blocking and username policies for more information).

We invite everyone to contribute constructively to our encyclopedia, but users are not allowed to edit with inappropriate usernames and we do not tolerate 'bad faith' editing such as trolling or other disruptive behavior. If you think there are good reasons why these don't describe your account, or why you should be unblocked, you are welcome to appeal this block – read our guide to appealing blocks to understand more about unblock requests, and then add the text {{unblock-un|new username|reason=your reason here ~~~~}} at the end of your user talk page. Request reason:

Accept reason:

Allowing username change to requested username. Please put this request in at Wikipedia:Changing username as soon as possible to avoid re-blocking. This has already been done. — Daniel Case (talk) 18:29, 29 April 2022 (UTC)[reply]

I have moved your unblock request to the bottom of the page per WP:BOTTOMPOST. New talk page messages should be posted at the bottom of the page (or section) so that the discussion appears in the correct chronological order. Thanks. --Drm310 🍁 (talk) 19:14, 28 April 2022 (UTC)[reply]
