Deletion tag
Given that I created the David Carpenter (serial killer) article about five minutes ago, it would be great if you could wait a bit before adding the delete tag. Cheers. Treybien 3:12 22 June 2008 (UTC)

The CSD tag you used was that the page had already been deleted via a deletion debate. This tag is only useable for AfD style debates, you cant use it on the grounds that the page was previously CSD'd. Just thought you'd like to know :). Ironholds 11:36, 13 June 2008 (UTC)

Request For Rollback
Hi. I've granted your request for rollback. Please remember to follow the instructions at WP:RBK and only use it for removal of obvious vandalism. Remember that the tool can be removed by any administrator if it's misused. Any questions please feel free to ask me - I'm happy to help. Thanks, and happy editing. Please be more careful
Please be more careful when tagging articles. Your tags on my new article about the 1996 film A Boy Called Hate claimed it lacked references (it had four references -- the New York Times, Variety, San Francisco Chronicle and Entertainment Weekly), that it read like an advertisement (it did not -- it offered a plot summary and round-up of unanimously negative reviews by major critics) and that it "did not meet the notability guideline for fiction" (it was a motion picture, not a book, and it was in U.S. theatrical and video release -- with major names attached to the project!). I can understand your enthusiasm for cleaning up Wikipedia, but go easy, please! Thanks! Ecoleetage (talk) 13:05, 20 June 2008 (UTC)
- Kumusta. Hey, it doesn't matter WHO created the article. And don't take it too rough -- we all make that mistake. Watch...in a short period, you will be saying the same thing to a new editor (much the way veteran editors made similar comments to me months ago!). All is well. Ecoleetage (talk) 13:07, 20 June 2008 (UTC)
- Also, remember that we are here to build and strengthen valid content as well as to remove wobbly content. In view of your aborted AfD on the wolves article, you may wish to spend some time reviewing and participating in the AfD discussions -- this way, you can see how the Wikipedia consensus operates and you can understand what type of articles are generally considered to be Wiki-worthy. You may also wish to check out WP:Backlog and seek out older articles that require clean-up, wikifying or deletion -- I actually find many AfD nomination-worthy articles there. Don't take this as being critical of your work -- you are on the right track and your contributions are valued.

Stephensons of Essex article
Hello, I just wanted to ask why you tagged the article on the bus operator Stephensons of Essex I created as an advertisement when I thought it would be useful as information about bus services in Essex, just as the existing Regal Busways, Arriva Southend, First Essex and List of bus routes in Essex articles are. Hello! Please slow down in your zeal to help in the Speedy Delete process. With the User:Sophiejapan, you tagged articles for Speedy Delete that did not meet the CSD and you made a vandalism report that was inappropriate. I may ask that you take a moment to re-read WP:CSD. And don't feel badly -- I made that mistake, too! Ecoleetage (talk) 11:47, 21 June 2008 (UTC)
- Then use Twinkle for Sandbox exercises first, please. Other editors may not be as patient, and I know a few admins who would be very upset if they saw repeated problems like this. Page protection requests
If a single editor is repeatedly reposting a nonsense page, such as Jersey capwood, the preferred course is to let that editor get blocked if he/she continues to repost. We generally won't protect a nonsense title unless it's reposted by multiple editors. Thanks, NawlinWiki (talk) 12:20, 21 June 2008 (UTC)

Hey there. Try not to request speedy deletion from pages where I've already declined. [1] :-) Tan | 39 06:42, 22 June 2008 (UTC)
- Sorry. I now placed maintenance tags on the article. I am happy to participate in the AfD if there will be one.
Thanks, and happy editing! Narutolovehinata5 tccsdnew 06:44, 22 June 2008 (UTC)
- (ec)On that note, you tag with A1 a lot - inappropriately. A1 is for "no context" articles - where the ones you are tagging clearly have context. Ask yourself, "Can I at least determine what the subject IS?" If you can, don't tag A1. That last Nerd graffiti artist was an A7 tag - bio where no notability is established.
- You really need to slow down and pay attention here, as evidenced by the prior warnings above. Tan | 39 06:45, 22 June 2008 (UTC)
- Sorry. You see, they are so short, I think that they have no context at all. However, Nerd (artist) had minimal conent, A1 is little or no context to the user. Sorry, I'm just new to Twinkle, and I'm still very inexperienced. Narutolovehinata5 tccsdnew 06:47, 22 June 2008 (UTC)
Done. Narutolovehinata5 tccsdnew 06:49, 22 June 2008 (UTC)
- "Being new to Twinkle" is really not an excuse. If in doubt, don't tag. I realize there's a learning curve, but when using a quick, powerful tool like Twinkle, you better know what you're doing. Don't get me wrong; we need new page patrollers and I'm glad you're helping out. Just be careful, okay? Learn to drive on the mellow sidestreets before tackling the busy highways ;-) Tan | 39 06:51, 22 June 2008 (UTC)
- I do that. When I am in doubt, I simply watch, waiting if someone will tag it... or not. Narutolovehinata5 tccsdnew 06:53, 22 June 2008 (UTC)
I would Love To...
I would love to use Twinkle, but it doesn't say that it can run with IE 7. Also I wanted two ask what exactly the cookie was for. I read the text, but is it considered a reward, a note to encourage me to be more cheerful; what is it exactly about.
- If it's not too much trouble, could you reply on my talk page. If no response within next 5 days, I will check back on your talk page. Tank YouTm93 (talk) 09:28, 23 June 2008 (UTC)
- Then download Mozilla Firefox. It's free. And the cookie was a note to encourage you to be more cheerful. Thanks, and happy editing! Narutolovehinata5 tccsdnew 09:30, 23 June 2008 (UTC)
- I, depending on the subject, like things to be plain and simple. Internet being one of them. I grew up with IE, therefore I am the most comfortable with it. I don't necessarily like firefox. It's to hard to understand to me. Two Questions...
- Is it manditory to be an often new page patroller to have Twinkle? Also the reason my userbox doesn't have the text "often" is because I couldn't find a template/I don't know how to edit the text myself. Suggestions are welcome.
- Did it seem to you/someone else that I was un-cheerful. Well I apologize. Being cheerful is one of my top goals on wikipedia.
- —Tm93 (talk) 09:51, 23 June 2008 (UTC)
- That's okay. TWINKLE is not mandatory, but things would be easier if you use it. However, that is a personal choice. Thank you. Narutolovehinata5 tccsdnew 09:53, 23 June 2008 (UTC)

Proposed deletion of Bill gates day
A proposed deletion template has been added to the article Bill gates day, suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process. All contributions are appreciated, but this article may not satisfy Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and the deletion notice should explain why (see also "What Wikipedia is not" and Wikipedia's deletion policy). You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}}
notice, but please explain why you disagree with the proposed deletion in your edit summary or on its talk page.
Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised because even though removing the deletion notice will prevent deletion through the proposed deletion process, the article may still be deleted if it matches any of the speedy deletion criteria or it can be sent to Articles for Deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached. Do you want to opt out of receiving this notice? Gimme danger (talk) 07:28, 27 June 2008 (UTC)
- Umm, I didn't create the article, I simply moved it, so umm, I don't think this is supposed to be here. Narutolovehinata5 tccsdnew 07:29, 27 June 2008 (UTC)
- Sorry 'bout that. This message was automatically posted by a bot. I'm not entirely sure why it picked on you and not the actual creator. Mysteries. --Gimme danger (talk) 08:34, 27 June 2008 (UTC)
Reversion of user talk pages
Hey, thanks for your contributions to various vandalism related areas, IE speedy delete, rc patrol, etc. I noticed you warned a user for deleting his talk page and then reported him on AIV for that reversion. While this is still a matter of some debate on wikipedia, generally it is acknowledged in the talk page guidelines that a user has the right to remove content from his or her talk page. Obviously, common sense restrictions apply (keeping confusing issues straight, removal of syop comments, block notices, etc), but I would advise against using a talk page reversion as evidence for blocking. Otherwise, keep up the good work.--Finalnight (talk) 06:52, 28 June 2008 (UTC)

err, I'm not an admin :S. It wouldn't really be appropriate for me to coach you properly, since I can't guarantee I know what they want (although I'm pretty sure that, after 3 RfA's, I can guarantee what they don't like). I will, however, give some non-partisan advice, and look over your contributions :). Ironholds 14:14, 22 July 2008 (UTC)
- Ok, my initial views/findings/whatnot; firstly, you have an extremely low edit count if you're considering running for adminship. 800-odd is far below the minimum most users expect, and only 120-odd of those have been to actual articles, with most of the rest being to talk pages. You'll need to up your edit count a lot more if you want to be considered seriously, but do so with useful things, not padding. Secondly, you've only been on WP for a month! The advice given is to wait at least 6 months before applying, but I know a lot of users want more than that.
- Your mainspace edits mainly seem to consist of tagging pages for deletion, adding various cleanup tags and page moves; again, this isn't what people neccessarily want to see. Yes, you understand the principles of CSD, but do you have any experience with AfD? That's something they'll want to see. I'd also advise working on contributing; I use the word to mean expanding articles (I went 6 months without "contributing" and just categorising articles and whatnot). Instead of adding a Cleanup or Reference tag, why not clean up and reference the article yourself? Due to the small number of mainspace edits it's hard to come out with a complete picture, but these are just the things i've picked up on; users looking at an RfA will go "with the small number of edits/short time of contributions/lack of experience in area X, how can we trust he/she will use the tools well?"
- So in a nutshell, my advice to you; wait >6 months until applying, spend that time racking up a heck of a lot more edits, preferably in the mainspace and AfD's, and make big, chunky mainspace edits. Creating 300+ pages isn't what users will neccessarily want in an admin, but they want to see that the user is dedicated to the project, rather than just 100-odd huggle and twinkle automated edits. In addition, for admin coaching; if you see a list of the coaches, try messaging them personally rather than assuming they'll check the admin coaching page; from the massive backlog I think it's clear they aren't. Hello! I recommend you also include List of Yin&Yang: Might and Magic School Characters and List of Yin&Yang: Might and Magic School Episodes in that nomination, because if the main article is deemed unacceptable to be covered than the character and episode lists will also be worthy of deletion. --Happy editing! Creating articles
Of course I can help. Just let me know what subjects you want to write about and I will point you in the direction of the proper reference sources. Be well. Ecoleetage (talk) 12:46, 1 August 2008 (UTC)
- Well, I don't know any pages which I can create, but I can edit an existing page. I need work on Naruto, Ginban Kaleidoscope, Mirmo!, Sgt. Frog, Animax and others... Narutolovehinata5 tccsdnew 12:48, 1 August 2008 (UTC)
- Okay, you can start by doing a simple Google search with those phrases. Put quotations marks around the words (such as "Sgt. Frog") to make sure you get the most exact search possible. If you need more help, let me know. Ecoleetage (talk) 15:16, 1 August 2008 (UTC)
- Currently, what I need help in is Ginban Kaleidoscope. Narutolovehinata5 tccsdnew 02:22, 2 August 2008 (UTC)

- Kumusta. What do you want to add to the article? I found a couple of English-language sites that can used if you want to gauge critical reaction: [10] and [11]. I assume there are many more Japanese sites, but I don't speak that language and cannot tell you where to look there. I hope this helps. Ecoleetage (talk) 12:41, 2 August 2008 (UTC)
- I'm Not looking for crtitical reaction, I am looking for references, more info on the development, plot, characters etc. Narutolovehinata5 tccsdnew 04:00, 3 August 2008 (UTC)
- Well, the reviews include references to plot and characters. Plus, it doesn't hurt to add information on what critics think of the production -- I do that with a lot of my film-related articles. Thanks. Ecoleetage (talk) 20:33, 3 August 2008 (UTC)
- Thanks. Narutolovehinata5 tccsdnew 11:27, 5 August 2008 (UTC)
- My pleasure. I always enjoy hearing from you! Ecoleetage (talk) 20:11, 5 August 2008 (UTC)
Hi. It looks like you ended up double-nominating this item. I deleted the first nomination, per your request, and then moved everything from the second over to the first, updating the AFD log and other links. That'll reduce confusion down the line, if this ever gets nominated again. You should be all set, now - and please let me know if I can be of further assistance. New article
Hello! Here is an idea: create the article in Sandbox, then let me take a look at it to see if it will make the grade or if it will need editing. Most OVA titles pass notability, but it all depends on how the article is written. Thanks. Ecoleetage (talk) 16:19, 8 August 2008 (UTC)
- Yes, the subject is notable. But you will obviously need to add more information. I would recommend keeping it off-wiki until you have enough data and references for a solid presentation. You are on the right track, good job! Ecoleetage (talk) 17:53, 8 August 2008 (UTC)
Speedy deletion nominations
Hi Narutolovehinata5, I saw your comment in your stub-sort of Everett Gendler. Don't sweat or worry about it too much, it was a bit of a mess and I agree that the notability wasn't immediately evident. Try to remember that just because an article may be technically eligible for a speedy under A7, that doesn't necessarily mean you should tag it, you should look at whether the article can be expanded or clarified so that it unambiguously meets the notability criteria.
For the same reason, Sex On Fire might be overturned, while you are technically correct, as a radio single by a large notable band like Kings of Leon, its very likely to be created and populated at some point. Your nom of Fajar Secondary School is pretty close to the mark, although {{prod}} or AFD might have been appropriate as well.
Happy editing! Lankiveil (speak to me) 05:51, 9 August 2008 (UTC).
I would like to get your opinion on something
Kumusta! Since you have very good judgment, so I wanted to know if you could take a couple of minutes to review this AfD discussion: [12]. The opinion on that is evenly split -- I think it is notable, but other people are putting up a good argument to delete it. I would like you to review this and lend your opinion. Your previous AfD calls were on target, which is why I am interested in having you here. I hope all is well. Ecoleetage (talk) 17:52, 11 August 2008 (UTC)
Random thoughts on new article and on me
Hello! The new article is off to a good start. I might recommend expanding the introduction, perhaps expanding the plot (if possible), adding some details on the characters and maybe offering a brief section on the reviews. You need more references, too. I did a little editing to set up the Reference section. As it stands, it is a little too brief to be published -- give it some more work and then it should be able to go online without fear of CSD erasure.
As for me -- I am very flattered about your offer, but this is not something I am currently looking to pursue. But thank you so much for thinking of me -- I am genuinely honoured. Ecoleetage (talk) 12:12, 14 August 2008 (UTC)
- Kumusta! Yes, you should feel free to ask any Wikipedia editor for assistance. The worst that could happen would be having someone say no. I have to admit that I don't known enough that much about anime or video games to provide the level of input that you may need. But you should send a message to Xenocidic -- he knows a lot about video games and I suspect he may know something about anime. Tell him I recommended your inquiry. Good luck. Fair use rationale for Image:VIrginFleetCover.jpg
Thanks for uploading Image:VIrginFleetCover.jpg. You've indicated that the image meets Wikipedia's criteria for non-free content, but there is no explanation of why it meets those criteria. Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. If you have any questions, please post them at Wikipedia:Media copyright questions.
Thank you for your cooperation. NOTE: once you correct this, please remove the tag from the image's page. STBotI (talk) 12:24, 14 August 2008 (UTC)
- Okay, when using a piece of promotional artwork to illustrate a film or DVD related article, you should add {{filmrationale}} as part of the upload for the file. Otherwise, these nasty bots will come along and stress you out. Better fix it ASAP. Thanks! Ecoleetage (talk) 12:40, 14 August 2008 (UTC)
- P.S. I just added the tag for you -- just to speed things along. But remember that tag in the future! Ecoleetage (talk) 12:43, 14 August 2008 (UTC)

- I made a few tweaks in the article, though I don't know much about anime/manga at all, I'm afraid. I added some nowiki tags as you can't display the image until the article goes live. The page shouldn't be categorized either. I left <-- some hidden cmts --> with suggestions on how to expand. –xeno (talk) 12:34, 15 August 2008 (UTC)
Please note that AfD's are a discussion, not a vote. If you don't give reasons past "notable" then you're contributing nothing to the discussion, and the closing admin will most likely ignore what you say. Ironholds 14:44, 14 August 2008 (UTC)
- Excuse me, Ironholds, but please don't say that our young friend is contributing "nothing" -- that is not an appropriate thing to say. You may wish to say that we would welcome his reasoning on the merits of the article, and to explain why he feels it should not be deleted. Narutolovehinata5 is relatively new to Wikipedia and many of its aspects are still relatively new to him. Thanks. Ecoleetage (talk) 17:23, 14 August 2008 (UTC)
- Contributing nothing to the discussion is what I said, and it's perfectly true. If someone does not write anything in a discussion he/she is not contributing to it; I fail to see the issue. Ironholds 06:01, 15 August 2008 (UTC)
- There is no such thing as a "nothing" contribution. If input needs to be fleshed out, then just request clarification. Our young friend contributed "something" -- he just wasn't as specific as we'd like him to be. Ecoleetage (talk) 12:30, 15 August 2008 (UTC)
- The contribution was "keep". This is a discussion, not a vote; the "keep" vote is moot without reasoning for doing so. Ironholds 12:47, 15 August 2008 (UTC)

Article of the month - Max Mosley, recently relisted as a Good Article
Max Rufus Mosley (born April 13, 1940) is president of the Fédération Internationale de l'Automobile (FIA), a non-profit association that represents the interests of motoring organisations and car users worldwide. The FIA is also the governing body for Formula One and other international motorsports. Mosley is a former barrister and amateur racing driver, and a founder and co-owner of March Engineering, a successful racing car constructor and Formula One racing team. He looked after legal and commercial issues for the company between 1969 and 1977. In the late 1970s, Mosley became the official legal adviser to the Formula One Constructors Association (FOCA), the body which represents the Formula One teams. In this role he drew up the first version of the Concorde Agreement, which settled a dispute between FOCA and the Fédération Internationale du Sport Automobile (FISA), the governing body of Formula One. Mosley was elected president of FISA in 1991 and became president of the FIA, FISA's parent body, in 1993. Mosley has identified his major achievement as FIA President as being the promotion of the European New Car Assessment Programme (Euro NCAP or Encap), a European car safety performance assessment programme. He has also promoted increased safety and the use of green technologies in motor racing. In 2008, Mosley retained his position after stories about his sex life appeared in the British press. Mosley is the son of Sir Oswald Mosley, former leader of the British Union of Fascists (BUF), and Diana Mitford. He was educated in France, Germany and Britain before going on to attend university at Christ Church, Oxford where he graduated with a degree in physics. In his teens and early twenties Mosley was involved with his father's post-war party, the Union Movement (UM). He has said that the association of his surname with fascism stopped him from developing his interest in politics further, although he briefly worked for the Conservative Party in the early 1980s.
