Welcome!

[edit]

Hello NaomiBillington and welcome to Wikipedia! We appreciate encyclopedic contributions, but one of your edit make me think and i have a question going around in my mind i just saw your edit on Lone worker where you added a new section Lone Worker Monitoring Apps and the question is there are many notable Lone Worker Monitoring Apps in the market such as Blackline GPS, DeLorme, Guardian24 or Skyguard but why you just mentioned StaySafe? and the section also seems describing the feature of StaySafe, you also attempt to add a link to StaySafe website but you letter removed the link from Lone worker but you added this link at Lone worker monitoring. Can you please describe why are you focusing only on 1 particular app to give example before i revert your edits. Thanks – GSS (talk) 11:11, 14 December 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Hello, NaomiBillington. We welcome your contributions, but if you have an external relationship with the people, places, or things you have written about on Wikipedia, you may have a conflict of interest (COI). Editors with a COI may be unduly influenced by their connection to the topic, and it is important when editing Wikipedia articles that such connections be completely transparent. See the conflict of interest guideline and FAQ for organizations for more information. In particular, we ask that you please:

  • avoid editing or creating articles related to you and your family, friends, school, company, club, or organization, as well as any competing companies' projects or products;
  • instead, you are encouraged to propose changes on the Talk pages of affected article(s) (see the {{request edit}} template);
  • when discussing affected articles, disclose your COI (see WP:DISCLOSE);
  • avoid linking to the Wikipedia article or to the website of your organization in other articles (see WP:SPAM);
  • exercise great caution so that you do not violate Wikipedia's content policies.

In addition, you must disclose your employer, client, and affiliation with respect to any contribution for which you receive, or expect to receive, compensation (see WP:PAID).

Please take a few moments to read and review Wikipedia's policies regarding conflicts of interest, especially those pertaining to neutral point of view, sourcing and autobiographies. Thank you.

I would recommend you do a bit of homework before you attempt to create publicity material on wikipedia. Advertising is not allowed here, and you can be blocked or permanently banned for it. Deb (talk) 15:52, 15 May 2016 (UTC)[reply]
