Garden State Plaza
[edit]Hi. Welcome to Wikipedia, and thanks for working to improve the site with your edits to various articles on shopping malls, as we really appreciate your participation. However, most of the edits had to be reverted, because Wikipedia cannot accept uncited material. Wikipedia requires that the material in its articles be accompanied by reliable, verifiable (usually secondary) sources explicitly cited in the article text in the form of an inline citation, which you can learn to make here.
In the course of your edits to Garden State Plaza, Monmouth Mall, Bridgewater Commons, Menlo Park Mall, Rockaway Townsquare, you performed a number of edits that fit the following pattern:
- You removed passages on anchor stores, and replaced that term with the phrase "traditional retailer", without providing a source for this.
- You deleted an entire citation-supported paragraphs, without explanation, such as store closings, which appears to be intended to censor information that you perceive as negative.
- You replaced valid passages with euphemistic language, as when you removed the word "decline" with the word "evolution" in the Monmouth Mall article, or when you replaced the word "close" with "shutter" regarding stores ceasing operation (as in the Garden State Plaza article), apparently for same reason.
If you ever have any other questions about editing, or need help regarding the site's policies, just let me know by leaving a message for me in a new section at the bottom of my talk page. Thanks. Nightscream (talk) 19:16, 21 August 2023 (UTC)
