Hello, We represent "Benzly Hype" https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Benzly_Hype , http://meandmikru.tv/ and we are trying to up his online presence by having a wiki page with his material and information, while i do understand the terms, we are the original contributors to the MTV site in which the material was cited source url: www.mtv.com/artists/benzly-hype-cynthia/biography/ how can i move forward with a remedy for this? DeeFamouSs (talk) 16:39, 30 May 2014 (UTC)
- @DeeFamouSs: In that form, the article cannot be accepted. The problem is the website you are copying from has not released the text under a compatible license. If you wrote the original text, you'll need to explicitly change the license on the website. You could alternatively email the text to Wikipedia from your MTV email address, or simply reword the text altogether. See WP:DONATETEXT for specific instructions on how to donate text for use on Wikipedia.
- Since you are affiliated with the subject you are trying to write about, you should also be mindful of our conflict of interest behavioural guideline. Be sure to not make the article sound promotional in nature, and trying to keep a neutral tone. Wikipedia is not to be used to promote a subject or "up his online presence". See WP:PROMO for more. Hope this helps, thanks! — MusikAnimal talk 16:50, 30 May 2014 (UTC)

deletion of Antonio E. Puente Page
Hi i am the owner of all the other pages I copied from, please stop deleting my pages...is there anything I can do to prevent this from happening>? — Preceding unsigned comment added by Uncwneuro (talk • contribs) 16:23, 3 June 2014 (UTC)
- @Uncwneuro: Hey there! Sorry for any confusion. As pointed out on your talk page, the article was deleted as it was copied word for word from an external source that appeared to be copyrighted. If you own the original text at uncw
.edu , you must indicate on that website that the text is available under a lisence compatible with Wikipedia. The exact steps to take on donating text for use on Wikipedia can be found at WP:DONATETEXT. It may be easier for you to simply reword the content./psy /about /faculty-puente .html
- Please note that there is also a notability guideline on whether articles can be accepted. I recommend you review WP:NACADEMICS to see if the subject meets our general criteria. If you believe he does, feel free to create the reworded article again. You may consider instead submitting the article for review, that way more experienced editors can help you refine the article and ensure it won't get deleted again. Use the article wizard to expedite this process. Let me know if you need help! — MusikAnimal talk 16:49, 3 June 2014 (UTC)
Hello from FriendlyCaribou
Thank you so much for approving my rollback request! I see this as the first step towards a long 'affair' with Wikipedia, and I hope to one day take the mop! I have nothing but admiration for you guys and hope I can use my new permissions effectively and productively! FriendlyCaribou (talk) 08:11, 4 June 2014 (UTC)
- @FriendlyCaribou: We could always use another hand in fighting vandalism, and I can see you are sincere in wanting to take part in that. Just again be careful with semi-automated tools. If you have any questions don't hesitate to ask. Happy editing! — MusikAnimal talk 14:24, 4 June 2014 (UTC)
Hello. I noticed that you added a COI message to the user's talkpage while I was writing a short message to them. I don't see any COI in the user's editing, what I see is just someone living in a small town in northern England who is proud of his/her hometown and want to contribute. The only problem with their editing is that they don't seem to understand that WP is an encyclopaedia, and not a blog or a local newsletter. Which is why I wrote my message to them. Cheers. Thomas.W talk 18:43, 4 June 2014 (UTC)
- Thanks for clarifying this to me. I certainly was not assuming bad faith in issuing the COI notice. I did get hints that they might be affiliated with the city in some regard, but them being a big fan could just as easily explain it. — MusikAnimal talk 19:48, 4 June 2014 (UTC)

User:Urda data
OK, you just deleted this user's account at their request. Whatever they want. But, this user created many userboxes. They had an extensive listing on the user box sample page. I only happen to use one of them, one I happen to like. How do we retrieve/copy this data into a place that the users destruction of their own account does not affect the aesthetic of many other users home pages? Trackinfo (talk) 00:39, 6 June 2014 (UTC)
- @Trackinfo: Yes, this user had a number of evidently very popular userboxes, but with their permission I redirected most of them to the template space. Looking through the deleted contributions, I assume you are after
{{USATF Official Master}}
. With you as the only transclusion, I will provide the source, as follows:{{Userbox |border-c=#000000 |border-s=1 |id-c=#FFFFFF |id-s=12 |id-fc=#FFFFFF |info-c=#0000FF |info-s=10 |info-fc=#FFFFFF |id=|info=This User is a <u><font color=white>[[USA Track & Field|USATF]]</font></u> Official Certified at the Master Level!}}
- Let me know if you need anything else. Cheers — MusikAnimal talk 03:34, 6 June 2014 (UTC)
Paleolithic Diet reference help...
Hi. I saw your little note regarding my citation. Can you help me fix the mistake and explain how to make it proper? I'd really like to do things the right way. Thanks :)Lgkkitkat (talk) 22:11, 5 June 2014 (UTC)
Here's the info... Hiatt, Kurtis. "Paleo Diet". http://health.usnews.com/best-diet/paleo-diet. U.S. News and World Report.Lgkkitkat (talk) 22:15, 5 June 2014 (UTC)
- @Lgkkitkat: Hi! So you need help adding a reference? Not a problem. I noticed you did not add a
title
parameter to the reference you added, so that produced a visible error in the list of references. I've gone ahead and fixed this for you. For web citations atitle
is required, which is simply the title of the web page or article you are referencing. In the future, it may be easier to use the refToolbar to add references. That aside, I think your contributions look great. - I also noticed no one has formally welcome you to Wikipedia, so... welcome! See your talk page where I've added some useful links. If you help at any time hesitate to ask. Happy editing :) — MusikAnimal talk 14:30, 6 June 2014 (UTC)
- Thank you so much :)
- It's hard to find people who are willing to interact with me. But I'm able to spend time on these page edits. The technical aspects of getting the work done is hard. I made a horrible mess in the sandbox :) Lgkkitkat (talk) 14:40, 6 June 2014 (UTC)
- @Lgkkitkat: That's what the sandbox is for! Mess it up all you like. When I first started, the cheatsheet was a big help. Note at the bottom of the list how to indent text. It is common practice on talk pages to indent your replies under the text you're replying to. More on talk pages at WP:TALK. By the way, the pages on Wikipedia policy and guidelines can be overwhelming large, which has always frustrated me as it seems problematic for newcomers. You seem to have the basics down, but I thought I'd make you aware of the five pillars which will break down the core policies into a more digestible format. Dive into the full sized pages as you become more curious about something, or just ask someone! — MusikAnimal talk 14:50, 6 June 2014 (UTC)
Father Ted reversion
Hello!
I made that very, very, very brief addition, to make the description more accurate.
From this: "Dougal for something only referred to as the "Blackrock Incident" (resulting in many nuns "lives irreparably damaged")", you removed the word "nuns".
The use of the word "nuns" is completely accurate.
In the first episode that features Bishop Leonard Brennan, "The Passion of Saint Tibulus", the Bishop is berating Dougal for his past misconduct. Dougal defends himself, saying, "They were only nuns!" The Bishop shoots back, "NUNS ARE PEOPLE, TOO!" (emphasis theirs).
I made the description more accurate.
Please watch the episode again, if you don't believe me. It is at this link: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5wlsuEmPUl0 The relevant section starts at almost exactly the 10 minute mark. (Father Jack's wedding incident, that I also added, is mentioned at about the 9 1/2 minute mark).
I would appreciate it, if you would restore the word "nuns", as it changes the meaning of the sentence a great deal.
I do not want to get into a conflict over it, however.

Hello from Paroles2000
Hello, MusikAnimal. I would like to seek your advice in dealing with a wiki member. In general I think I can deal with this member by myself, and I am willing to invest time and energy (both of which I will need), but... since I am not that experienced in Wikipedia community, I would just like to get an advice from a member like you, to get a third opinion. Could you please take a look at the article that I've been taking care of : Daniel Lavoie. Recently it caught attention of a Wiki member, curiously right after I painstakingly restored the article on Gilles Vigneault after it had been completely destroyed by that member [1] , [2]. That member then turned his attention to the article on Daniel Lavoie, attached three tags to it and began slowly deleting strings of text from it, one every few days: [3], [4], [5], [6]. Of course I assume good faith and I have agreed with several points of criticism, especially stylistical and corrected quite a few spots. However we are not nearly close to the removal of tags. My requests for clarifications produce threats to start deletions. You can read our correspondence on the "Talk" page. My question for you is: do you also think that all three tags are deserved? Is the article that bad? Any general advice for me? Thank you in advance, Paroles2000 (talk) 01:31, 7 June 2014 (UTC)
- @Paroles2000: Glancing through, the article does have some peacock terms here and there, some neutrality issues, but overall it looks like it's in okay shape. The {{BLP sources}} tag is fair, anything likely to be challenged needs to be sourced, especially when dealing with living persons. The {{fanpov}} tag is unnecessary as it essentially says the same as the {{POV}} tag. Fancruft is something to be careful of, but there's nothing wrong with writing about something you're a fan of. I think your attitude toward dealing with this other editor is right on point. Assume they mean well and are trying to help you, and likewise they should assume you mean well in improving this article in a fair and neutral way. With this philosophy and polite discussion consensus should come naturally. Seek dispute resolution if necessary. Hope this helps. MusikVarmint talk 19:55, 7 June 2014 (UTC)
- @MusikVarmint:Thank you very much for so generously spending your time with the article and for your comments, they are very helpful. I completely agree with you on all points, which makes me feel confident. Have a very nice day, Paroles2000 (talk) 18:53, 9 June 2014 (UTC)
- @MusikVarmint:Hello, could I bother you one more time. My opponent is now threatening to delete the Filmography and the Awards section unless I provide in-line citations. Is this fair? As far as I know this is not done, unless the source infomation is obscure or difficult to confirm (in case of filmography), and I am not sure about the policy on the awards part, but most of those are referenced in the text of the article itself anyway. In general both the filmography and the list of awards were taken from the basic sources which are mentioned many times in the article. Shall I really provide the same in-line citation 50 times in a row? Just doesn't sound right. I'll appreciate your insight. Sincerely, Paroles2000 (talk) 15:40, 10 June 2014 (UTC)
- @Paroles2000: First off, I don't like that you're calling this other editor your "opponent". Agreement/disagreement is nature of a collaborative environment, but you should instead think of each other as colleagues.

- I found the subject's discography at Allmusic, considered a very reliable source. This may not be the actual convention, but I usually put the reference in the heading, so in this case next to "Studio albums". Add this Allmusic reference there, and any additional references that cover albums not listed at Allmusic. Unless it's contentious or likely to be challenged, there is no need to use inline citations in a list of works of art. See WP:DISCOGSTYLE#Citations and references for more. There's also allmovie

Gadget-dropdown-menus.js
Hello @Stephen: @Edokter: @Amalthea:, sorry to ping you all. I noticed your comments regarding the Mediawiki:Gadget-dropdown-menus.js gadget. I also use this gadget, was frustrated the broke, but furthermore the effort it took when I attempted to fix it. I believe it was made many years ago, and the author is no longer active on Wikipedia. I wanted to let you know that I've been working on a newer, simpler implementation utilizing the Vector (and other) skin's native drop-down functionality and styling.
Once complete I will post at WP:GP and pending some peer review and testing, it will hopefully replace the old Gadget-dropdown-menus. If you'd like to try mine in the meantime, it's nearly complete with a few to-dos, just add the following to your global.js:
importScript('User:MusikAnimal/MoreMenu.js'); // Linkback: [[User:MusikAnimal/MoreMenu.js]]
No accompanying CSS file. This implementation offers the same functionality, with a few extra links to logs. This was written using basic jQuery with JavaScript objects for the list of links, so it should be fairly easy to add/remove links and customize as needed. Looks best in Vector skin right now. A work in progress, but I should have it all done in a few days. Hope this is of some help to someone. Cheers — MusikAnimal talk 19:10, 13 June 2014 (UTC)
- Sounds good. I myself am not using the script though, I'm only interested in it when it breaks. ;) Amalthea 10:21, 16 June 2014 (UTC)

But vandalism tops it all if you ask me, i'll never understand why these types do what they do, and i read once or twice one of them accusing (a) well-intended user(s) of having no life because they spent their time editing in WP. You have to have some nerve!

Aside from that, your changes appeared to contain promotional content.

VisualEditor global newsletter—June 2014
Did you know?
The VisualEditor team is mostly working to fix bugs, improve performance, reduce technical debt, and other infrastructure needs. You can find on Mediawiki.org weekly updates detailing recent work.
- They have moved the "Keyboard shortcuts" link out of the "Page options" menu, into the "Help" menu. Within dialog boxes, buttons are now more accessible (via the Tab key) from the keyboard.
- You can now see the target of the link when you click on it, without having to open the inspector.
- The team also expanded TemplateData: You can now add a parameter type "
date"
for dates and times in the ISO 8601 format, and "boolean"
for values which are true or false. Also, templates that redirect to other templates (like{{citeweb}}
→{{cite web}}
) now get the TemplateData of their target (bug 50964). You can test TemplateData by editing mw:Template:Sandbox/doc. - Category: and File: pages now display their contents correctly after saving an edit (bug 65349, bug 64239)
- They have also improved reference editing: You should no longer be able to add empty citations with VisualEditor (bug 64715), as with references. When you edit a reference, you can now empty it and click the "use an existing reference" button to replace it with another reference instead.
- It is now possible to edit inline images with VisualEditor. Remember that inline images cannot display captions, so existing captions get removed. Many other bugs related to images were also fixed.
- You can now add and edit
{{DISPLAYTITLE}}
and__DISAMBIG__
in the "Page options" menu, rounding out the full set of page options currently planned. - The tool to insert special characters is now wider and simpler.
Looking ahead
The VisualEditor team has posted a draft of their goals for the next fiscal year. You can read them and suggest changes on MediaWiki.org.
The team posts details about planned work on VisualEditor's roadmap. You will soon be able to drag-and-drop text as well as images. If you drag an image to a new place, it won't let you place it in the middle of a paragraph. All dialog boxes and windows will be simplified based on user testing and feedback. The VisualEditor team plans to add autofill features for citations. Your ideas about making referencing quick and easy are still wanted. Support for upright image sizes is being developed. The designers are also working on support for viewing and editing hidden HTML comments and adding rows and columns to tables.
Supporting your wiki

Possible page-move needed for Avial
Hey there, If you look closely at the title of Avial when you open the page, you'll notice that it's in italics. Since this is related to the band itself, and their eponymous album Avial isn't notable enough for a separate page...isn't this a MOS issue? Then how do we page-move it when it's basically the same title sans the italics? I tried, doesn't work...not even sure how remove the italics from its title when it isn't even shown at the page-move option. -Ugog Nizdast (talk) 07:57, 28 June 2014 (UTC)
- @Ugog Nizdast: Hey there, {{Italic title}} or DISPLAYTITLE are what normally do the magic, but here title is italicized because of the {{Infobox album}} template used in the Discography section. That template automatically italicizes the page name since the title of all albums should be italicized, and generally we only have one infobox for the subject of the page, not sections therein. You could add the parameter
|Italic title=no
to {{Infobox album}} to disable the auto-italics, but in my opinion there shouldn't be an infobox for the album, especially since there is not very much information being conveyed in it. — MusikAnimal talk 15:47, 28 June 2014 (UTC)- Thanks a lot for your time, I did it...I had no idea that the infobox was responsible for the page title or for that matter even about DISPLAY TITLE. Though the infobox wasn't added by me and I don't mind removing it, I'll keep it just because of the cover art. Good day, Ugog Nizdast (talk) 19:48, 28 June 2014 (UTC)

What was wrong about it? 93.123.103.130 (talk) 08:03, 7 July 2014 (UTC)
- Hey! I admit this was borderline G11 criteria. A more appropriate rationale would fall under WP:FAKEARTICLE, where with the blocking of the account the page would lay dormant, resembling an actual article. I apologize as this was unfairly not made clear. As for the block itself... the username implied the account may be shared amongst multiple users, which violates our username policy. Feel free to create a new account that represents you as a sole editor. Any other editors working for your organization should have their own respective accounts.
- Once you've made an account, I will happily move over your work that lived at User:Sirma Solutions. From there, you can add sources to make sure it is verifiable. Barilla Group
Hello! I noticed that the Controversy section of the article on the Barilla Group has been removed again, again by an anonymous IP address that has done little or nothing else. As you're an editor who defended the section in the past, did you want to step in again? Or do you have advice for less experienced readers on how to handle something like this (e.g. whether seeing it defended by an experienced editor is enough that we should reinstate his or her edits even though we are not as conversant on the formal rules and rationales, or whether we should contact the editor so they can make the change again if they still feel it's warranted, etc.) I also see in the history that editor Mark Arsten said he protected the page, but later DumbBOT says "removing protection template from a non-protected page"; I'm not sure whether that means he didn't successfully protect it, or if the protection was removed without a comment I can spot. Any advice for handling this sort of thing in the future would be appreciated. Thanks! GCL (talk) 19:32, 8 July 2014 (UTC)
- @GCL: Hi! I've chimed in with my input on the talk page. Feel free to do the same. In this sort of situation discussion always the best place to start. Consensus can shed light on what to do with the concerned content. Sometimes a third-opinion is needed, or if things get heated, dispute resolution. Mark semi-protected the article way back in September for about 10 days. After it automatically expired, DumbBOT correctly removed the visible pad-lock icon from the page. If disruption continues we may need to semi-protect again. Hope this helps! — MusikAnimal talk 00:59, 9 July 2014 (UTC)

I never block without examining the user's editing history (was it really vandalism), talk page (make sure they were properly warned), filter log (says a lot about the user), block log, and for IPs the WHOIS (is it a school/anon block?), etc. Not sure if Huggle has all that, but if were able to compile that on one screen that would be incredible! - You should be aware that new articles on Wikipedia must also meet our notability guideline. This means the subject, "Syed Shahzad Ali Najmi", must be a well-known person in order to have an article on Wikipedia.
- Because of the copyright violation, I cannot restore or give you the original text that was deleted. So, here's my recommendation: You can create the article again from scratch, but this time submit it for review. This way other more experienced editors can help you refine it and ensure it won't get deleted again. To do this using the article wizard. Let me know if you need anymore help! — MusikAnimal talk 14:48, 14 July 2014 (UTC)

- @Dr. Alan Godlas: Absolutely! See my reply above. Use the article wizard to create the article again, then you can submit it for review. I'm happy to help if need be. — MusikAnimal talk 18:21, 14 July 2014 (UTC)

Bot reports at AIV
To be honest I usually don't handle bot reports there, since the basis for some of them is not obvious to an untrained eye. For that same reason I really can't help you with the filters, as that's well beyond my expertise. Daniel Case (talk) 05:26, 17 July 2014 (UTC)

Hey User:MusikAnimal. I've officially become addicted to Wikipedia. The bad thing is, its interfering with my schoolwork. Could you please block me for a week? I beg you. I need to get my schoolwork done! Thanks,☯SkaterLife☯ talk 17:10, 17 July 2014 (UTC)

- @SkaterLife: Well I hate to hear your work on Wikipedia is becoming a problem, but I commend you for putting your schoolwork first. I agree with Matty.007 that you should consider using the script to help enforce a wikibreak. If it does not prove effective, and you are serious about your wish to take a break – even if permanent – you can contact one of the administrators listed at Category:Wikipedia administrators willing to consider placing self-requested blocks. Self-blocks can be controversial. Frankly, I'm not comfortable with them, so I cannot help you there. Best of wishes to your future on Wikipedia :) — MusikAnimal talk 18:11, 17 July 2014 (UTC)

Yes let's talk next week
Hi again MusikAnimal,
Sorry only seeing your message now, as I have again deleted the content. I understand your point of view, and respect your way of dealing with it. So happy to work with you next week, happy to work on a text myself. It would be a real shame that Alkarama's reputation and work be damaged by yet another defamation campaign.
Would it be possible to communicate with you in another way than through Wikipedia. Not that we have anything to hide, just that I don't find it a very convenient tool.
Or I can just send you the text I will prepare on Wikipedia and take it from there? It might take some time, but we'll get there, and you'll be surprised...
Thanks Colombe — Preceding unsigned comment added by Colombeverges (talk • contribs) 18:13, 17 July 2014 (UTC)
- @Colombeverges: If you would like you can email me. However, any content you plan to put on Wikipedia is best to be discussed on wiki. That we can get other editors involved in a collaborative effort. We can use the article wizard to start a draft article. It will not be in the mainspace until it is reviewed and published. This is generally the best route when you are unsure about the content. Not to worry, though, Monday I'll be back around and we can work on it then. Cheers — MusikAnimal talk 18:34, 17 July 2014 (UTC)

Participate in discussion about Media Viewer follow-up study
I'm contacting you because of your involvement in the Media Viewer RfC. I understand that this is a bit awkward since the RfC has closed with consensus, but I have been tasked with helping the Multimedia team run a study to gather more feedback about Media Viewer preferences. I think the the write-up for the study could use your feedback. Would you take some time to review the study and share your thoughts on the talk page? Please feel free to invite others to participate as well. Thank you! --Halfak (WMF) (talk) 18:28, 18 July 2014 (UTC)
Hello from Colombeverges
Hi MusikAnimal,
Thanks for your message and for watching over that important content not be deleted from some pages without any reason.
It was the first time I was editing a page, and I didn't see that I needed to leave a reason.
The reason why I removed the content is that I work for Alkarama (I'm the new Media Coordinator) and a colleague from our legal team asked me if I could rewrite the page to leave no misunderstanding as to our Founder's designation as a "Specifically Designed Terrorist".
The fact that the US named him a terrorist without justification whatsoever, and that no other country has designated him a terrorist, should rather raise questions as to what the reasons were for the US to designate him as a terrorist.
Abd al-Rahman Omair Al Naimi is the president of the Alkarama's Foundation Council, and Alkarama is a very respected human rights organisation working on a daily basis with the United Nations to send communications with regards to the most sever human rights abuses in the Middle East and North Africa. Uncovering the responsibility of specific Arabic states has costed Alkarama which has made a lot of enemies in some states, in particular in Gulf countries which have a good relationship with the US.
There is no doubt that Al Naimi was victim of a smear campaign, but since the US does not have to give the proofs of what it wrongly claims, it is unlikely that Al Naimi will ever completely recover from this.
The reason why I was asked to remove this page, is that we are trying to push victims and local NGOs to communicate to us the violations they've been the victims of. We are worried however that they would be scared by this information on Alkarama's page.
The accusations on Al Naimi were made on his own person and not on our organisation. Al Naimi even wanted to resign not to tarnish our organisation's reputation and harm our mission. But our Foundation Council refused, since nobody ever doubted these allegations to be true.
Now if you want to create a page on Al Naimi and link it to Alkarama, feel free, but it would just not be fair, for all the hard work we put in protecting individuals subjected or at risk of the most severe human rights abuses, that our mission be damaged by such terrible and terribly false allegations.
I hope you understand, and allow me to remove the text or help me remove it yourself, until I have a little more time - probably next week - to rewrite an article about this.
Please let me know what you think.
All the best, Colombe — Preceding unsigned comment added by Colombeverges (talk • contribs) 15:17, 17 July 2014 (UTC)
- @Colombeverges: Hello and welcome to Wikipedia! Unfortunately, I do not currently have the time to assess the veracity of these claims. While patrolling recent changes, I merely noticed you removed a large portion of sourced material without explaining why. Please provide an edit summary so that others are aware of your intentions.
- Without diving to deep into this case, I will say that it's important to understand that Wikipedia must respect all viewpoints, negative and positive. We cannot remove content simply because we disagree with it, but at the same time we do not want to lend undue weight toward a specific viewpoint. We must aim to make everything neutral in tone and verifiable with reliable sources.
- I am happy to help you with this next week. Shall we get in touch then? — MusikAnimal talk 15:48, 17 July 2014 (UTC)
- I was the editor who wrote that section, and will join in the discussion when you have it. The section gives a chronology of what happened: al Naimi was declared a terrorist by the US DoT, in response to which Amnesty said nothing, but another group shouted plainly "BS!". The national media followed with its own reporting, which was largely copy-pasted directly from the DoT press release, and DIRECTLY ASSOCIATED ALKARAMA WITH AL NAIMI, in some cases associating it in its list of Muslim-terrorist-charity-front organizations.
- I dug around to get at all the sources I could find -- financial info, old news outlets (Al Humaiqani was named exactly once in all the news archived ever by or about Alkarama) -- and it pretty much confirmed that the alleged financing of terrorist activities would be painfully circumstantial, and even if it weren't, Al Humaiqani has had almost no association with Alkarama's operations since its founding, and Al Naimi's accusation is based almost exclusively on his association with Al Humaiqani. The counterpoint that this was a political attack at Alkarama itself by the US as retaliation for their criticism doesn't make much sense to me -- it seems much more likely to be an indirect political attack/maneuver against Al Naimi or Yemen or something.
- Anyway, the next step was to put these findings into the article, which resulted in the section you see. I studied journalism and try to write objective content while making my assessment clear enough, but if that's not the case here, feel free to edit.
- But the fact remains that the entire US news media reported on this between the initial DoT press release, Al Naimi's response, Amnesty's lack of response, and Al Naimi's resignation. These articles are permanently archived on all the various blogs, so when somebody googles "Alkarama", they will see a articles with big headlines like "Terrorists For Human Rights" (DailyKos). Almost no blogs or news outlets did the research to at least get some assessment of the claims (otherwise I would have had way less work to do). The accusation and its damage are permanently archived online, so this WP article does its job for clarifying the truth of the matter for those curious about the organization by keeping this section. Mark Greenaway
Hi,
I noticed you have deleted the page I created for Mark Greenaway. This page was created on the request of Mr Greenaway and he holds full copyright of the text used on his website. I emailed this to the address as requested.
How can I have the page reinstated?
Thanks — Preceding unsigned comment added by Caitchison92 (talk • contribs) 08:14, 25 July 2014 (UTC)
- @Caitchison92: Looks like you have recreated the page and roughly paraphrased it. You should still proceed with submitting approval of reusing the content on Wikipedia. The subject certainly meets the notability guideline, and this time around it looks far less promotional. I've made some small contributions and added the relevant WikiProject banners to the talk page. Cheers — MusikAnimal talk 15:50, 25 July 2014 (UTC)
