Tampering oribginality and athenticity of Kannada Language
Hi <Whome so Ever>
It seems you are tampering with originality and authenticity of information submitted by users you are not owner of content to decide on the users contribution The contribution provided is based on several years of research, just not knowing certain things doesn't makes it inappropriate — Preceding unsigned comment added by 117.192.3.73 (talk) 18:06, 23 May 2012 (UTC)
- Why don't you refer Wikipedia:Manual of Style/Words to watch, Wikipedia:Neutral point of view and Wikipedia:Verifiability before adding "your research work". If you still want to add "your research work" do provide references for your claim else it will be biased. Thanks for your contribution. Shriram (talk) 18:20, 23 May 2012 (UTC)
Shri Manjunath Swamy
Sriram I would like to know why was copyright tag added again to this article.
The contents which i copied violated copyright, so i have requested for copyright permission from the owner. if they agree, its good or else we can remove that part of the content and publish the same right. Or is it like you guys have requested for the copyright permission. and this tag will appended till the copy right permission gets settled. Can you / madmanbot please let me know on this. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Vishwakumarmc (talk • contribs) 14:27, 24 May 2012 (UTC)
- I do not know the matter in depth as I have no knowledge of article. However when I was patrolling, I found you removed a notice that clearly mentioned not to be removed until solved. So I reverted it and gave warning. Just don't remove that notice until everything is settled. And as the template shows that you have copied something from http://www.shridharmasthala.org/ and thats why it has been placed. Shriram (talk) 14:33, 24 May 2012 (UTC)
Hello, my edit about Pedubast II has been reverted. This edit consisted in moving to the talk page, a large and highly suspect edit made previously by a new editor. This large edit was making spurious claim of connection between the bible and Pedubast II and was not referenced. My edit is constructive, it protects the integrity and honesty of the article. Besides, I am not a new editor having made hundreds of edits as you can check. Please verify that my edit is not destructive and protect the article by removing again the spurious material. Iry-Hor (talk) 08:54, 25 May 2012 (UTC)
- Thank you. Iry-Hor (talk) 08:56, 25 May 2012 (UTC)
- I have undid my revert. And do mention your view in the article talk page. I believe you need to discuss before removing such a large content rather than taking sole decisions. Shriram (talk) 08:58, 25 May 2012 (UTC)
- Of course, that's why I did not really remove the content since I moved it to the talk page. Also you will notice upon looking at the page history that the original editor who put up the content in the article actually entirely removed it shortly later. However, this last edit was undone by a bot which interpreted it as vandalism... By moving the content to the talk page, I was in fact more careful than the original author of the edit. Iry-Hor (talk) 13:27, 25 May 2012 (UTC)
Hello, this is the second time STiki users have reverted important content from this page. The sentences are trigging STiki because they appear irrelevant, but they are actually examples of the concept of Anaphora which the article discusses. -- LWG talk 21:58, 25 May 2012 (UTC)

- Really the tool is superb. I was using huggle and igloo. I loved igloo as it was very lite and effective, it lack good faith revert but STiki, in that way is quite better than igloo. Anyhow I need to get used to with stiki still. Thanks for those info. And that leader board is a good way of motivating user to fight vandals. Shriram (talk) 08:22, 26 May 2012 (UTC)
- glad to see your enthusiasm, hope you give vandals a run for their money Also note that after you make the first classification using mouse, you can use the keys V , G , I , P as a shortcut for the buttons. cheers. -- ÐℬigXЯaɣ 09:30, 26 May 2012 (UTC)

British Isles
Hi Shriram, your "welcome" on User:Karl.brown's is not really appropriate. Also, On British/Irish related articles there is currently a 1RR restriction, so it might be better to revert your last edit there. KB's revert is all that's allowed at the moment. Van Speijk (talk) 16:51, 26 May 2012 (UTC)
- I believe it is appropriate my friend. May I know why that section was removed? I believe such a matter should be taken to talk page and discussed before removing, what do you say?Shriram (talk) 17:15, 26 May 2012 (UTC)
- I don't know, I didn't remove it. The point aboout the welcome is that user:karl.brown is not a new editor. Van Speijk (talk) 17:31, 26 May 2012 (UTC)
- No no, actually the first warning welcomes the person. He is not a newbie but still I cant change the warning! Shriram (talk) 17:35, 26 May 2012 (UTC)
- (talk page stalker)refer wp:DTR a better way out of such awkward situation is to clean up the template as soon as you become aware that the welcome or the warning was a mistake. -- ÐℬigXЯaɣ 18:03, 26 May 2012 (UTC)

Electrical Engineering WPP
I think you have enough support to start the project. WPPs don't have to go through Council to get created (it's a recommended optional process)

- Done. Thanks for your support. ShriRamTalk tome 08:32, 16 June 2012 (UTC)
- Sure thing. I've already left a message at WT:WikiProject Electrical Engineering about the project template and assessment categories. 70.24.251.208 (talk) 08:46, 16 June 2012 (UTC)
I read the guidelines and do not see how this link is any different than the current links supporting that page
Because I am new at this I am not sure if I am suppose to ad my comments to your page or mine. I have placed them in both areas and will hopefully understand how to respond to interactions with moderates better in the future.
Here are the current links that support the information and help with resources for this community page

What the hell is this? Why am I getting messages about editing? I don't do any editing on Wikipedia...except for this I guess? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 174.56.2.122 (talk) 00:44, 17 June 2012 (UTC)
MotD Nomination for the Opening Ceremony of the London 2012 Olympics (27 July 2012)
We at the Motto of the Day would be extremely grateful if you could review a couple of "special" nominations for the Opening Ceremony of the London 2012 Olympics on the 27th of July 2012. Here is the link to the first nomination, if you can help. The others follow it, and you can add your own ones or improve the existing nominations, of course.
Thank you so very much in advance! –pjoef (talk • contribs) 09:47, 19 June 2012 (UTC)

Disambiguation link notification for June 28
Hi. When you recently edited Blocked rotor test, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Slip (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Dear Sriram Plaese go through the additions I made and then suggest a rollback or revert. Please don't term an act as vandalism before you read and understand it thoroughly. I am surely not inserting any orignal researches. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 122.176.149.81 (talk) 13:31, 4 July 2012 (UTC)

Using category Electrical Engineering articles
Hi Shriram, You are probably not realizing but category:Electrical Engineering articles is not supposed to be used as article category. This type of WikiProject categories are automatically added by adding a project template to the article talk page. So using {{WikiProject Electrical engineering}} adds the article automatically to category:Electrical engineering articles. You should use regular article categories. For example I have moved Circle diagram and Short circuit ratio to category:Electro mechanical engineering. But feel free to move them to another more appropriate category.
The second issue is that you are still using the old category before the move of WikiProject Electrical Engineering to WikiProject Electrical engineering. I'm preparing the procedure to delete these old categories to avoid confusion.
If this is still unclear, let me know. Kind Regards, SchreyP (messages) 08:31, 13 July 2012 (UTC)
- I will keep that in mind. ShriRamTalk tome 13:56, 13 July 2012 (UTC)

Shimoga
Hi. I was going through Shimoga page and tried to restructure some sentances and also data relating to district appear in this page. There is a separate page for District. Can we trim the list of notable personalities, which includes all notable persons from District, it should inlcude only persons from town - in this regard can we trim the list?
- I have deleted the names of Hotels of shimoga, giving the reason that it may be considered that such display of names of hotesl will advertisement. Is it Ok?Rayabhari (talk) 12:56, 10 August 2012 (UTC)
