ArbCom 2021 Elections voter message
[edit]October 2022
[edit]Hi MrMimikyu1998! I noticed that you have reverted to restore your preferred version of 2022 several times. The impulse to undo an edit you disagree with is understandable, but I wanted to make sure you're aware that the edit warring policy disallows repeated reversions even if they are justifiable.
All editors are expected to discuss content disputes on article talk pages to try to reach consensus. If you are unable to agree at Talk:2022, please use one of the dispute resolution options to seek input from others. Using this approach instead of reverting can help you avoid getting drawn into an edit war. You and 4me689 are very close to edit warring. Start a discussion on the talk page about the image.. ― Blaze WolfTalkBlaze Wolf#6545 23:58, 18 October 2022 (UTC)
I just did put the talk page out there. Kyu (talk) 23:59, 18 October 2022 (UTC)
- Good. I've warned 4me689 for the same thing as well. I don't care what image gets used, you just need to stop arguing over the image to use. ― Blaze WolfTalkBlaze Wolf#6545 00:03, 19 October 2022 (UTC)
- I'm sorry for arguing with you on the Angela Lansbury picture, hopefully we can corroborate in the future and become good contributors.
- (also you mind go and reply at Wikipedia_talk:WikiProject_Years#Survey) 4me689 (talk) 00:26, 12 November 2022 (UTC)

- thank you for forgetting me, also what's your opinion on collages on year articles, you haven't placed your opinion yet I've been really curious, put it at Wikipedia_talk:WikiProject_Years#Survey. 4me689 (talk) 02:02, 12 November 2022 (UTC)
- No problem and I think it’s a great idea! Kyu (talk) 02:04, 12 November 2022 (UTC)

- 4me689, were you not (multiple times) advised to stop WP:CANVASSING for support? GoodDay (talk) 02:18, 12 November 2022 (UTC)
- I have to admit yes but I don't want to be banned so can we just wait for the results. I just want to move on and not be banned 4me689 (talk) 02:20, 12 November 2022 (UTC)
- Admitting it is too late, as you've already done it. What will it take to make you stop? GoodDay (talk) 02:22, 12 November 2022 (UTC)

Question about RFC
[edit]Hi, where can I find the RFC which got rid of the births and deaths for each year? Why aren’t people born before 1980 included? Interstellarity (talk) 13:16, 7 April 2023 (UTC)

Copyright expiration
[edit]Hi!
I saw that you have added many wrong copyright expiration year templates to file information pages.
In the United States, the copyright term expires 95 years after publication (if published before 1978). The copyright term is not based on the author's death year.
In Europe, the copyright term expires 70 years after the death of the author (not 95 years). Exception: 80 years in Spain if the author died before 1987. The copyright term is based on the author's death year, not the year of publication.
When the copyright term is based on the year of death, you should use the year of death of the photographer, not the year of death of the subject of the photo. --Stefan2 (talk) 22:14, 27 November 2024 (UTC)
My apologies. I got a bit carried away on which comes first. Idk why I thought it was 95 years after death. Kyu (talk) 22:15, 27 November 2024 (UTC)
- No big problem. I think that I fixed all of them. --Stefan2 (talk) 22:22, 27 November 2024 (UTC)
