Welcome!
[edit]Welcome!
Hello, MooMooMilkMan, and welcome to Wikipedia! I have noticed that you are fairly new! I hope you like the place and decide to stay. I also see that some of your recent edits show an interest in the use of images and/or photos on Wikipedia.
Did you know that ...
- ...Wikipedia has a very stringent image use policy?
- ...most images from Flickr, online news websites, and other web sources are copyrighted?
- ...Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously?
- ...freely-licensed images should be uploaded to Wikimedia Commons, a central location for images where they can be used on all Wikipedia projects?
- ...we recommend that new users use our "files for upload" process - at least until you get the hang of things?
If you are stuck, and looking for help, please come to the New contributors' help page, where experienced Wikipedians can answer any queries you have! Or, you can just type {{Help me}}
on your user page, and someone will show up shortly to answer your questions. Here are a few other good links for newcomers:

Non-free image use in drafts
[edit]Hi MooMooMilkMan. Not every file uploaded for use on Wikipedia is licensed the same way, and it's this licensing which determines how a file may be used. File:All-Valley Karate Championship.jpg is licensed as non-free content which means each use of it must comply with Wikipedia's non-free content use policy. The are ten non-free content use criteria which need to be staisfied for each use, and non-free content criterion #9 states that non-free content may only be used in articles. So, for this reason and per WP:DRAFTS#Preparing drafts, the file cannot be added to Draft:1984 All-Valley Karate Championships until the draft is approved as an article. So, please don't re-add the file to the draft again. -- Marchjuly (talk) 00:57, 10 August 2018 (UTC)
Are you working on a possible imrprovement to an existing article (for example, The Karate Kid) or are you writing something along the lines of fan fiction? If your draft is a case of the latter, then you probably should read Wikipedia:What Wikipedia is not, particulary the part about Wikipedia is not a blog, web hosting service, social networking service, or memorial site.
Wikipedia articles are intended to be encyclopedic articles whose content is supported by citations to reliable sources and the draft namespace is intended to be a place where editors can work on potential articles. If you believe that you are going to be able to find reliable sources to support the content in your draft, then perhaps it can be eventually made into an article; however, if you're just writing some kind of story about a fictional karate tournament that was a plot point in a movie, then it's likely going to be seen as original research with very little chance of ever becoming an article. Wikipedia does have some articles written about fictional subject, but they are expected to be properly supported by citations and written in accordance with Wikipedia:Manual of Style/Writing about fiction as well as other relevant Wikipedia policies and guidelines. -- Marchjuly (talk) 01:11, 10 August 2018 (UTC)
Orphaned non-free image File:All-Valley Karate Championship.jpg
[edit]Thanks for uploading File:All-Valley Karate Championship.jpg. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).
Note that any non-free images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described in section F5 of the criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. --B-bot (talk) 17:05, 12 August 2018 (UTC)
