As this is our first time using Wikipedia, we created the Tarafder57 account to draft a biography of Md. Kamrul Hasan Tarafder. I would also like to know if you have any personal or professional relationship with this Md. Kamrul Hasan Tarafder. If you do, then you have a conflict of interest that should be disclosed. I am not personally connected to Md. Kamrul Hasan Tarafder, nor have I been involved with any of the microfinance organizations or foundations he has founded or worked with. However, I deeply admire the positive impact he has made in the Philippines.

I have attempted to create a biography for him on Wikipedia but have faced challenges in the process. Nevertheless, I strongly believe that his contributions deserve wider recognition. Md. Kamrul Tarafder has positively influenced the lives of millions of people in the Philippines, and I have great respect for his commitment to promoting financial inclusion and empowering communities.[1] [2]

This is also in recognition of his 20 years of service to Filipinos. Unfortunately, due to some threats his family received, He resigned from the institution due to emotional distress, as mentioned in the article from The Daily Tribune [3][4] [5]

I want to make it clear that I am doing this work with the intention of contributing to Wikipedia without any financial compensation. As this is my first time creating content on Wikipedia, I would greatly appreciate any help or guidance in following Wikipedia's rules and creating accurate, well-sourced content. We are a group with different areas of expertise, but I am the only one responsible for uploading content to Wikipedia. There might have been some confusion regarding our collaboration. To keep everyone informed, I share the URL of the uploaded content so they can review it and let me know if I missed anything important.

I have also spoken with some current and former staff members from organizations where Md. Kamrul Hasan Tarafder served as Founder and CEO/President. What is the nature of your group? (i.e are you researchers/PR people/just friends editing together) How do you select the subjects of your edits? You don't do it at random. You say you personally admire this man, but there are undoubtedly lots of people in the Phillipines doing good work, worthy of admiration- why did you pick this person?

You say you used his email(attached to the account, I gather)- but previously said "I am not personally connected" to this person and are not involved in his organizations- which sounds to me like you chose your words carefully there. We are a group of researchers working on projects in cross-border collaboration. I have academic colleagues from universities and research centres in Australia, the Philippines, Canada, Norway, and the USA. We have published academic research articles in peer-reviewed academic journals on international development topics, including Microfinance involving the ASA Philippines Foundation and other Microfinance organisations worldwide. Mr Tarafder is a Microfinance leader who founded ASA Philippines Foundation (a leading Microfinance Institution). Hence, the academic and general audience needs to know about Mr. Tarafder’s contribution to the microfinance industry. No other individual has made a comparable contribution to Mr Tarafder in Southeast Asia, the Pacific, and the Philippines.

We were not aware of the “Self-gratification” perspective. Hence, an oversight took place to use his email account to upload the earlier content.

For the image, it could be best to change the "source" field to whoever owns the copyright (likely either Mr. Tarafder himself or the individual taking the photograph).
