Hi Mo2718, thanks for contributing to the article and adding some additional sentences to the lead. I will change the reference style of your references so that it's consistent with the rest of the references. The style I use ensures that all the information is there and the reference output is in the proper format. I have a bit more wikifying to do. Then I will do some copy-edits to try to balance-out the article a bit.  kgrr talk 21:33, 24 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for your response this morning. As a parent of two school-age children, I'm interested in education. I learn things by reading various Wikipedia articles and fixing them. Please do help me edit this article. I know just what I'm reading about the subject. Take a look how at how I re-worked the two references - ReedBlack2006 and Epstein2006. Then look how I "re-use" the named reference Epstein2006 again further down in the article with a simple <ref name=Epstein2006/>. That saves me from having to build the same reference twice. Also, when answering someone, simply write under the initial question (in your talk in this case). Most people use the watchlist in order to get informed of a change on the other person's page. Also, sign your note with four tildes like this: ~~~~ It gets changed into your login and date automatically ;) Nice to meet you, Mo2718.  kgrr talk 13:25, 25 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Your edits look great. Can you tell me how to "vote" on keeping this.
Thanks mo2718
Mo2718, Thank you. You can use more colons ::: in order to indent the text to separate my comments from yours. When you are done, use four tildes ~~~~ to "sign" your note back to me. Feel free to go to my talk page and send me a note.

I think most of the references are there. The problem the article still has is one of Original Research WP:OR and possibly of being biased WP:NPOV. What we need to do next is to go through the article to remove anything that leads a reader to a conclusion. The reader should be presented with the facts on the issue and be led to draw the conclusion on his own.

We also need to link this article into other related articles.

To answer your question about how to vote, It's not an election or a majority rules vote, but more of a consensus vote. Adding comments that the initial conditions have changed or a new viewpoint can sway many votes. We'll get there.  kgrr talk 19:13, 27 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]
