Request reason:
I have an account in good standing and was wondering if I could be exempt from the current block on this ip address?
Decline reason:
Clearing an autoblock
Due to the nature of the block applied, we need additional information before we can decide whether to unblock you. It is very likely that you are not personally blocked. If you are prevented from editing, it may be because you are autoblocked or blocked because of your IP address. Without further details, there is nothing further we can do to review or lift your block. Please follow these instructions:
- If you have a Wikipedia account, please ensure that you are logged in.
- Your account name will be visible in the top right of this page if you are.
- If it isn't, try bypassing your web browser's cache.
- Try to edit the Sandbox.
- If you are able to edit the sandbox, you are not blocked from editing. Either the autoblock on your IP address has already expired, or you weren't blocked in the first place. Either way, you can resume editing.
- If you are still blocked, follow the directions below:
- Copy the {{unblock-auto|...}} code generated for you under the "Unblock request" section.
- Paste the code at the bottom of your user talk page, and click save.
- If you cannot edit your own talk page, use the Unblock Ticket Request System to make your request.

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

Request reason:
So every time some idiot vandalizes on this ip address im gonna get blocked from editing?
Decline reason:
If you follow the instructions above, we can see about releasing this autoblock. If a user is frequently caught in these, we have other ways to potentially help them. עוד מישהו Od Mishehu 07:58, 19 March 2009 (UTC)

{{unblock|Please. Is there something that can be done so I can edit again??? I have done everything I can but nothing has worked. The autoblock is on until sept. and I don't think I have done anything to deserve that.}}
- The IP you're using has been blocked as an open proxy. This means that either you're connecting through a proxy, or a an open proxy has been run on your IP address. IP block exemption is probably not appropriate for you since your history of contributions is very short. Mangojuicetalk 15:59, 20 March 2009 (UTC)
- I am using a non securized network so I can't do much before Monday, can someone double check if this is still used as a proxy? If the range is dynamic, rebooting your modem might lift the block. -- lucasbfr talk (lucasbfr2) 18:25, 20 March 2009 (UTC)
- I have put a report in at OPP. If this is still an open proxy, we can consider an IP block exemption. Daniel Case (talk) 06:24, 21 March 2009 (UTC)
- OPP result is puzzling ... apparently the IP wasn't even online at that time. Do we feel comfortable unblocking or should we ask for another check when we know it's online? Daniel Case (talk) 14:17, 21 March 2009 (UTC)
- Hello everyone. I checked the IP at OPP for open proxyness, and at the time I checked it was either not online, or secure. Given that the IP was blocked by a checkuser two days ago out of the blue, though not necessarily on checkuser evidence, and there is no other evidence that it's been an open proxy recently, I would defer unblocking the IP until lucasbfr can confirm the original check. Very temporary IPBE would seem reasonable until such a time, subject to review of contributions and suitable agreements. This account does not appear to belong to a new user, but this may not be problematic. -- zzuuzz (talk) 14:47, 21 March 2009 (UTC)
- Have you tried logging in on the secure server? This worked for me once when I was in this situation. — Martin (MSGJ · talk) 22:11, 22 March 2009 (UTC)
