Please review my copyedit
Hi Miniapolis,
Could you give your opinion on my copyedit of Jack jumper ant? I'm rather new to the GOCE (this is only my second major copyedit, and my first one in a backlog elimination drive), so I probably overlooked some things. Here's the diff of all my changes. Thanks, --Biblioworm 16:32, 1 November 2014 (UTC)
- Be glad to. I'm in the middle of a few things (mostly non-WP :-)), but will take a look later today. Thanks very much for your help and all the best, Miniapolis 17:49, 1 November 2014 (UTC)
- Thank you. I also just finished a copyedit of Empire, which you can see here, if you have the time. --Biblioworm 23:30, 1 November 2014 (UTC)
- Good work on both, and thanks again for your help. Just a couple of small things with Jack jumper ant—the article seems to be written in British English ("desensitisation"), so I think (although I'm most familiar with American English) "up to 3% (numbers below 10 are spelled out) of the human population have developed an allergy" is correct. I would've left gaster wikilinked, since I didn't know it redirects to "stomach". These are minor issues, except at the GAN, A-Class and FAC levels (which is why it's good to learn the ropes with backlog articles, where there's less pressure). There's a lot to learn, and you're doing fine. All the best, Miniapolis 02:14, 2 November 2014 (UTC)

Thank you for participating in my topic ban. This really is a genuine thank you, no sarcasm is intended. I was in the wrong and I accept that. Rotten regard 23:44, 17 November 2014 (UTC) |
GOCE Leaderboard
Hi Miniapolis,
Who updates the GOCE backlog elimination drive leaderboard: the regular participants, or the project coordinators? I'm asking this because based upon the number of words I've done, I should be listed on there, and I'm not. Thanks, --Biblioworm 16:05, 20 November 2014 (UTC)
- Hi, Biblioworm. We update our own numbers; I think there used to be instructions there to that effect, but they seem to have disappeared :-). Thanks for your help and all the best, Miniapolis 16:22, 20 November 2014 (UTC)
- Thank you. --Biblioworm 16:37, 20 November 2014 (UTC)
Thanks for the GA review
Hi Miniapolis, I do appreciate your attention to the yin yoga article. Your suggestions much improved it. WP is lucky to have such a skilled and public-spirited editor. EMP (talk) 23:04, 23 November 2014 (UTC)
- Thanks for the kind words. My GAN was summarily failed with a review not in accordance with the GA criteria, but that's the breaks. All the best, Miniapolis 23:30, 23 November 2014 (UTC)
Thank you ;-)
Hi Miniapolis; thank you for nominating me for the Editor of the Week award, your comments are very kind and i appreciate them. It's always nice when one's work is recognised. I'll try not to let my head swell up! :-) Cheers, Baffle gab1978 (talk) 06:46, 24 November 2014 (UTC)
- It's very well deserved; you, more than anyone, are keeping the GOCE afloat and I (and many others) really appreciate that. All the best, Miniapolis 14:56, 24 November 2014 (UTC)
A barnstar for you!

Thank you so much for all that you have done. You've done substantial work on this article, I'll be sure to include your name as one of the submitters in the FA nom. v/r - TP 23:06, 3 September 2014 (UTC) |
- Thanks for the kind words, but all I did was polish the prose; the real grunt-work is sourcing. Good luck and all the best, Miniapolis 23:33, 3 September 2014 (UTC)
- Thank you for your help. Because of your copyediting, Ford Island has now passed as a FA. It wouldn't have happened without you.--v/r - TP 02:17, 28 November 2014 (UTC)
