Proposed deletion of Colorphobia

[edit]

The article Colorphobia has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Wikipedia is not a dictionary.

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. reddogsix (talk) 17:23, 1 December 2015 (UTC)[reply]

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Colorphobia, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G4 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page appears to be a repost of material that was previously deleted following a deletion debate, such as at articles for deletion. Under the specified criteria, where a page has substantially identical content to that of a page deleted after debate, and any changes in the content do not address the reasons for which the material was previously deleted, it may be deleted at any time.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator, or if you have already done so, you can place a request here. reddogsix (talk) 17:26, 1 December 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Hello, I'm Legacypac. Your recent edit to the page Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant appears to have added incorrect information, so I have removed it for now. If you believe the information was correct, please cite a reliable source or discuss your change on the article's talk page. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. You may not categorize this rebel group as a country of any type. There are no reliable sources for that. Legacypac (talk) 09:06, 31 December 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Please declare your previous account

[edit]

Hi, looking at your contributions it is obvious that you are not a new user but must have edited wikipedia before. Please can you declare your previous account. If you are legitimately clean starting, you are welcome to email me with the details or register your previous account with the Arbitration Committee. Thanks Spartaz Humbug! 18:08, 4 January 2016 (UTC)[reply]

I have only used ip's before, if that counts. Min al Khadr (talk) 13:42, 5 January 2016 (UTC)[reply]
Btw, I got a ping from you. I should be deleted from that canvass list since I don't know any of them. I reached the AFD page from a deletion sorting page on a previous AFD I participated in. You would be engaging in timewasting by pursuing an imaginative fairytale. Min al Khadr (talk) 13:55, 5 January 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Cape Town, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page African. Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

This is an automated message from CorenSearchBot. I have performed a web search with the contents of Phallophobia, and it appears to include material copied directly from http://deletionpedia.org/en/Phallophobia.

It is possible that the bot was mistaken and found similarity where none actually exists. If that is the case, you can remove the tag from the article. The article will be reviewed to determine if there are any copyright issues.

If substantial content is duplicated and it is not public domain or available under a compatible license, it will be deleted. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material. You may use such publications as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. See our copyright policy for further details. Hey there. I noticed you removed the construction tag. Are you confident that the reasons for a delete consensus have been overcome? I'm not going to nominate it for AfD; it looks good to me, but someone else might. - superβεεcat  00:18, 22 January 2016 (UTC)[reply]

I also sort of feel its ready, but I am willing to improve it if anyone objects to its current state. there are about four more quality sources I could conceivably introduce. Min al Khadr (talk) 00:22, 22 January 2016 (UTC)[reply]
I'm a bit scared that someone's going to afd it. Min al Khadr (talk) 00:24, 22 January 2016 (UTC)[reply]
