Speedy deletion of Guy Perillat
[edit]A tag has been placed on Guy Perillat requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A1 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is a very short article providing little or no context to the reader. Please see Wikipedia:Stub for our minimum information standards for short articles. Also please note that articles must be on notable subjects and should provide references to reliable sources that verify their content.
If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}}
to the top of the article (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the article's talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Beaumont Leys
[edit]Hello. I'm not really sure what your message on my talk page is about. I removed a statement saying that Bradgate Heights is between Beaumont Leys and Anstey - it isn't, it's between Beaumont Leys and New Parks/Glenfield - and I'm not sure Bradgate Heights is even part of Beaumont Leys anyway, so probably doesn't belong in the article. I also removed an inaccurate statement about the 74 bus service. This service doesn't go near Stocking Farm - it goes from Anstey to Beaumont Leys, then down Anstey Lane to Leicester. The 54 goes via Stocking Farm, but doesn't travel from Anstey, and I would have thought the 54 is the main service between BL and Leicester.--Michig (talk) 15:57, 11 April 2008 (UTC)
If this was your previous edit, then no, it didn't say what the article does now, and Bradgate Heights should only be included as a new development of BL, if it is indeed part of BL, which I doubt is the case. Bradgate Park is not in Cropston, by the way, and the A47 is a long way away. If you meant the A46, the houses are not even very close to that.--Michig (talk) 20:13, 11 April 2008 (UTC)

[edit]Your upload of File:Col de la croix fry.jpg or contribution to its description is noted, and thanks (even if belatedly) for your contribution. In order to help make better use of the media, an attempt has been made by an automated process to identify and add certain information to the media's description page.

It would be appreciated if you could carefully review the information the bot added. To opt out of these notifications, please follow the instructions here. Thanks! File source problem with File:Lac du confins.jpg
[edit]Thank you for uploading File:Lac du confins.jpg. I noticed that the file's description page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is unclear. If you did not create this file yourself, you will need to specify the owner of the copyright. If you obtained it from a website, please add a link to the page from which it was taken, together with a brief restatement of the website's terms of use of its content. If the original copyright holder is a party unaffiliated with the website, that author should also be credited. Please add this information by editing the image description page.
If the necessary information is not added within the next seven days, the image will be deleted. If the file is already gone, you can still make a request for undeletion and ask for a chance to fix the problem.
Please refer to the image use policy to learn what images you can or cannot upload on Wikipedia. Please also check any other files you have uploaded to make sure they are correctly tagged. Here is a list of your uploads. If you have any questions or are in need of assistance please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. ✗plicit 06:48, 3 December 2024 (UTC)
File permission problem with File:Col de la croix fry.jpg
[edit]Thanks for uploading File:Col de la croix fry.jpg. I noticed that while you provided a valid copyright licensing tag, there is no proof that the creator of the file has agreed to release it under the given license.
If you are the copyright holder for this media entirely yourself but have previously published it elsewhere (especially online), please either
- make a note permitting reuse under the CC BY-SA or another acceptable free license (see this list) at the site of the original publication; or
- Send an email from an address associated with the original publication to permissions-en@wikimedia.org, stating your ownership of the material and your intention to publish it under a free license. You can find a sample permission letter here. If you take this step, add {{permission pending}} to the file description page to prevent premature deletion.
If you did not create it entirely yourself, please ask the person who created the file to take one of the two steps listed above, or if the owner of the file has already given their permission to you via email, please forward that email to permissions-en@wikimedia.org.
If you believe the media meets the criteria at Wikipedia:Non-free content, use a tag such as {{non-free fair use}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:File copyright tags#Fair use, and add a rationale justifying the file's use on the article or articles where it is included. See Wikipedia:File copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.
If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have provided evidence that their copyright owners have agreed to license their works under the tags you supplied, too. Here is a list of your uploads. Files lacking evidence of permission may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described in section F11 of the criteria for speedy deletion. You may wish to read Wikipedia's image use policy. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. ✗plicit 06:48, 3 December 2024 (UTC)
