A tag has been placed on your user page, User:Kuvva (company), requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page appears to be blatant advertising which only promotes a company, product, group or service, and which is a violation of our policies regarding acceptable use of user pages: user pages are intended for active editors of Wikipedia to communicate with one another as part of the process of creating encyclopedic content, and should not be mistaken for free webhosting resources. Please read the guidelines on spam, the guidelines on user pages, and, especially, our FAQ for Organizations.
If you can indicate why the page is not blatant advertising, contest the deletion by clicking on the button that looks like this: Click here to contest this speedy deletion which appears inside of the speedy deletion ({{db-...}}
) tag (if no such tag exists, the page is no longer a speedy delete candidate). Doing so will take you to your user talk page where you will find a pre-formatted place for you to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. You can also edit this page directly to give your reasons, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would help make it encyclopedic. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. I am One of Many (talk) 01:34, 17 August 2013 (UTC)
This account has been blocked indefinitely as a sock puppet of Morning277 (talk · contribs · global contribs · page moves · user creation · block log) that was created to violate Wikipedia policy. Note that multiple accounts are allowed, but using them for illegitimate reasons is not. If this account is not a sock puppet, and you would like to be unblocked, you may appeal this block by adding the text {{unblock|Your reason here ~~~~}} below, but you should read the guide to appealing blocks first. Request reason:
This account is not a sock puppet. The alternate accounts from this IP were due to issues with registration (account creation gives error: [a9cb2c2c] 2013-08-01 03:07:07: Fatal exception of type MWException), and Jeremyb's recommendation was "it's best if they are just left as is". I was traveling and did not have time to respond to the deletion notice or update the Kuuva page if that one is the issue. Melissajan0 (talk) 13:18, 22 August 2013 (UTC)
Decline reason:
I am declining your unblock request because it does not address the reason for your block, namely your participation in a paid editing group. To be unblocked, you must convince the reviewing administrator(s) that the block is no longer necessary because you understand what you have been blocked for, will not continue to cause damage or disruption, and will make useful contributions instead. While you are welcome to edit as an individual, you will not be unblocked in order to continue to create promotional articles for monetary return. Jezebel'sPonyobons mots 23:28, 22 August 2013 (UTC)
If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.
- Note: having reviewed the ticket, the account creation issues are irrelevant here - the onwiki behavior is classic Morning277, a series of meatpuppets used to conduct paid/promotional editing against our WP:COI policies. CU was not used to identify this account. --Rschen7754 17:23, 22 August 2013 (UTC)
I am not Morning277, nor to my knowledge have I interacted with this person. The article I completed, The Baltimore Charter for Women in Astronomy, has no commercial or promotional concerns, and my other edits are reflective of my interests in science, technology, and speculative fiction (and one linkrot tag on a page referenced in the help pages). - But what about User:Kuvva (company)? or User:Melissajan0/Kuvva? --Rschen7754 20:59, 22 August 2013 (UTC)
