Your GA nomination
Hello, I'm Kncny11. I noticed that you nominated List of accolades received by The Irishman for good article status. Per the good article criteria, stand-alone lists, portals, sounds, and images cannot be good articles. As such, I have removed the nomination tag from the article talk page. If you believe that the list is of a high caliber, you may feel free to nominate it for featured list status. Kncny11 (shoot) 22:14, 4 April 2021 (UTC)

Glitter Cymru
Hi! I'm very new to wiki, and wanted to shoot you a message as I saw you helped edit the Glitter Cymru page I setup! I noticed you listed it as an orphaned article, I've attempted to link it to the LGBT culture in Cardiff page, but doesn't seem to be working. Was wondering if you knew what the issue was? No worries if not, and hope you're enjoying the holidays! Sleepytimecat (talk) 21:08, 25 December 2023 (UTC)
- Hi. I correctly linked it now. The page's name is "Glitter cymru", while you probably tried to link it to "Glitter Cymru". Mazewaxie (talk • contribs) 21:47, 25 December 2023 (UTC)
- Ahh I didn't realise it was case dependent! Thank you so much! :) Sleepytimecat (talk) 22:34, 25 December 2023 (UTC)

Please be careful with find-and-replace
Blindly replacing curly apostrophes with straight apostrophes can lead to formatting errors when the curly apostrophes are adjacent to existing italic and bold formatting. Please be careful with such edits and carefully inspect the rendered page in Preview before saving. Hebrew astronomy is an example of a page that I have fixed for you. – Jonesey95 (talk) 23:55, 30 December 2023 (UTC)
- Yes I noticed it right now, I messed up on that one, I apologize. Thank you for fixing it. By the way, could we use the "nowiki" tag in those situations? Mazewaxie (talk • contribs) 23:57, 30 December 2023 (UTC)
- It is better to use {{'}}, like this fake book title: 'Tis Good. – Jonesey95 (talk) 00:11, 31 December 2023 (UTC)
- @Jonesey95: Sorry I didn't understand this revert, what error did it create? Mazewaxie (talk • contribs) 00:06, 31 December 2023 (UTC)

Edits on Interlingue
Hi Maxewazie,
I saw your recent edits on Interlingue - you've replaced Interlingue-language text with English twice now, after I reverted you the first time. I don't want to start an edit war, so am contacting you here - would you mind stopping? It's simply not correct usage of the language. Frzzl talk; contribs 17:13, 1 January 2024 (UTC)
- Hi. I sincerely apologize, I'm editing with AWB and didn't realize that, I'm sorry. Mazewaxie (talk • contribs) 17:15, 1 January 2024 (UTC)
Thanks for the Orphan reminder
Hi Mazewaxie, thanks for the Orphan reminder for the new Double Shuffle article. I've added three links from other articles, and I expect others will gradually appear. Have also reviewed cites; no matter how ready I think a new article is, there's always face-palm moments when I read it in article space. :) Happy New Year! Mr Serjeant Buzfuz (talk) 19:55, 1 January 2024 (UTC)
- Happy New Year to you as well! Mazewaxie (talk • contribs) 14:10, 2 January 2024 (UTC)
Miles Smiles
I noticed your Miles Smiles edit (thanks!) and I had a question about quotes. I think I was the one that changed the blockquotes to quotes, because you can toggle in and out of them (ctrl+8) like headers and stuff in visual. Is there a reason to use blockquotes instead? I'm new to editing, so I figured I'd ask. TlonicChronic (talk) 02:04, 2 January 2024 (UTC)
- Hi! Basically nothing, it's an automatic change I made with AWB, the main focus of that edit was replacing duplicate references, but now that I'm checking I didn't do it correctly so I'm going to finalize it now. By the way, welcome to editing :D Mazewaxie (talk • contribs) 11:22, 2 January 2024 (UTC)
- Thank you! TlonicChronic (talk) 13:54, 2 January 2024 (UTC)
