1. Women suffage This article will be my 1 choice. I chose this article because I find very it disturbance that women are still dealing with voting problems and substantial salary differences compare to men(mostly women) even after anything we been and the progress we have made in the government today. This article relates to the class because in class we have dicuss the unfair treatment of women plenty of time. The most recent dicussion, I can remember is the talk about the big the women march on washington, when they protest and argue there opinions on they the felt the government is failing the women of today’s generations. The things I feel this article can add to make it better , is adding problems women face in today generations because this article primarily focus on the past tense problems women had to encounter. I feeling adding these this new information can really help this article a hundred percent. 2.Black feminism This article will be my 2 choice.I chose this article because it pertain a topic that is dicuss frequently in today’s society and is involving very rapidly. For example, many people of all different racist are fighting for a the allowing of gay marriage and want to be respected the same way as the people who are engaging in oppose sex. This articles relates to the class because in class we talk about gender sexuality alot and sexism is topics that occur in the majority of class so far. Something that can be added to make it better,is adding and drawing connection to other topics to help the overall message. 3.Gender pay gap in the United states This will be last and final proposal choice. I chose this article because I find it very disturbing that women don’t get paid the same amount as men and they hold the same title as men in the work force and are engaging in the amount of work as the men. This article relates to the class because we talk about women salary and the unfair treatment and class one before. This topic stuck out to me the most although, it is my last choice because I feel this is something that need to me changes instantly because it just isn’t right . Something that can be added to article to make, it better is adding strong professional opinions to get a broader view and different perepective.

Now that you have an article, it is time to start working seriously on the page. I want you to skip the step of drafting in your talk page and start adding content to the live page asap. Great job on working through the training module assignments.Mosterbur (talk) 14:24, 24 April 2017 (UTC)Mosterbur[reply]

Plagiarism/copyvio

[edit]

Hi! I'm the content expert for your course and I recently received a notification that an article you were working on, Feminization (sociology), was up for deletion. (Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Feminization (sociology)) It looks like the main reason for deletion was that the article contained content taken from other sources, which is considered to be a copyright violation and plagiarism, since it comes across as you trying to show the content as your own work. Even if this wasn't your intent, you cannot post content from another source unless the content was released under a compatible creative commons license or unless you are using it as a clearly marked and cited quote. (IE, the quote must be in quotation marks and attributed to the person/organization.)

I've asked for the page to be reverted back to the way it was before you started editing, since this would hopefully keep it from getting deleted. I can e-mail you a copy of the content if you don't have a copy saved on your computer and you can work on re-writing the content and making sure that everything is written in your own words. • There was also some concern over the clarity of the content, as some of the sentences felt unclear and had some grammar issues, so this would need some work as well. I can help you with this if you like. Shalor (Wiki Ed) (talk) 00:16, 7 May 2017 (UTC)[reply]

  • Marquez504, you need to write this content in your own words. If you continue to post content from other sources you run a serious risk of getting blocked from editing. I did some cleanup with the article for flow and grammar, however I do note that the article needs more sourcing in some areas, so this is something you should work on as well. • Now as far as keeping the copyrighted content up goes, we cannot keep up content that has been taken from another source. The reason for this is twofold - first the content is considered to be copyrighted to its original author and in order to use it on Wikipedia that author would have to give permission. We can quote the content but it must be clearly marked as a quote and it must also be sourced. The second reason is that you are supposed to be placing your own work on Wikipedia rather than reposting another person's work, so it's still seen as plagiarism to use the content in the way you have so far.
