how do I create a page? The help links are not very straight forward.

Well, to create an article first read Wikipedia:Your first article. Then go to either Wikipedia:Article wizard or Wikipedia:Requested articles. However, I advise you to first edit some articles to get a feel of Wikipedia:Notability and then create and article. For the future put {{helpme}} in a new section on your talk page along with your question and people will be around to answer your question. Welcome to Wikipedia and happy editing! Is it possible to make books on wikipedia? For example, I would like to organize automechanics to be able to search and read it kind of like a book. It would be cool to be able to "favorite" or bookmark pages withing my wikipedia account too. I don't know if that is possible.
