Shwe Pyi Aye moved to draftspace
[edit]An article you recently moved to mainspace, Shwe Pyi Aye, does not have enough sources and citations as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:

Welcome, and thank you for contributing the page Bo Taya to Wikipedia. While you have added the page to the English version of Wikipedia, the article is not in English. We invite you to translate it into English. Pages in foreign languages will not be kept here, and may be deleted if they are not translated into English. Thank you. Would you like to trade article translations?
[edit]I noticed you started some articles or drafts recently. Would you like me to help out with one of them? I could work on your article, and you could help me.
I have been hoping to find someone who can start an article on my.wikipedia which translates content from Door County, Wisconsin. It would not need to be as long as the English article. Even a stub would be better than nothing. (A number of businesses in this area hire students from all over the world for summer work on J-1 visas. Because of this is there is a reason that Burmese people might be interested in knowing more about it.)--Epiphyllumlover (talk) 19:56, 7 June 2020 (UTC)

Speedy deletion nomination of Miss Crystal Angel International
[edit]Hello Marcus MT,
I wanted to let you know that I just tagged Miss Crystal Angel International for deletion, because it seems to be promotional, rather than an encyclopedia article.

You can leave a note on my talk page if you have questions. Thanks!

Speedy deletion nomination of Maung Tin Oo
[edit]If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.
You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.
A tag has been placed on Maung Tin Oo requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a real person or group of people that does not credibly indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please read more about what is generally accepted as notable.
If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator. [edit]Your draft article, Draft:Miss Burma (2020)
[edit]Hello, Marcus MT. It has been over six months since you last edited the Articles for Creation submission or Draft page you started, "Miss Burma".

Speedy deletion nomination of Nay Htet Lin
[edit]If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.
You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.
A tag has been placed on Nay Htet Lin, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page seems to be unambiguous advertising which only promotes a company, group, product, service, person, or point of view and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become encyclopedic. Please read the guidelines on spam and Wikipedia:FAQ/Organizations for more information.
If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". Speedy deletion nomination of Win Maw Oo
[edit]If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.
You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.
A tag has been placed on Win Maw Oo, requesting that it be deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under two or more of the criteria for speedy deletion, by which pages can be deleted at any time, without discussion. If the page meets any of these strictly-defined criteria, then it may soon be deleted by an administrator. The reasons it has been tagged are:
- It is a very short article providing little or no context to the reader. (See section A1 of the criteria for speedy deletion.) Please see Wikipedia:Stub for our minimum information standards for short articles. Also please note that articles must be on notable subjects and should provide references to reliable sources that verify their content.
- It appears to be about a person, organization (band, club, company, etc.), individual animal, or web content, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. (See section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion.) Such articles may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable.
If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". Note about canvassing and other issues
[edit]I think it is clear from both ANIs that have recently been closed, there are several issues that need to be addressed regarding these articles:
- There is canvassing occurring regarding the Myanmar articles under discussion. This needs to stop. Ultimately canvassing is counter productive because it results in page protection and eventually blocks.
- Claims are being made by some editors that strongly resemble ownership based on editors' nationality, this also needs to stop. Myanmar editors are have no special status on Myanmar articles; everyone is welcome to edit any article regardless of nationality and contributions are judged based on sources, nothing else. Myanmar editors' contributions are very welcome, but the rest of the world is very aware and informed about what is occurring in Myanmar national politics, just as I'm sure Myanmar editors' are aware of what occurs in national politics in the United States, Great Britain, etc.
- Personal attacks are not acceptable in any forum here. This needs to stop. One editor has been blocked for this.

Wikipedia and copyright
[edit]Hello Marcus MT! Your additions to Caretaker Government of Myanmar (2021) have been removed in whole or in part, as they appear to have added copyrighted content without evidence that the source material is in the public domain or has been released by its owner or legal agent under a suitably-free and compatible copyright license. (To request such a release, see Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission.) While we appreciate your contributions to Wikipedia, there are certain things you must keep in mind about using information from sources to avoid copyright and plagiarism issues.
- You can only copy/translate a small amount of a source, and you must mark what you take as a direct quotation with double quotation marks (") and cite the source using an inline citation. You can read about this at Wikipedia:Non-free content in the sections on "text". See also Help:Referencing for beginners, for how to cite sources here.
- Aside from limited quotation, you must put all information in your own words and structure, in proper paraphrase. Following the source's words too closely can create copyright problems, so it is not permitted here; see Wikipedia:Close paraphrasing. Even when using your own words, you are still, however, asked to cite your sources to verify the information and to demonstrate that the content is not original research.
- We have strict guidelines on the usage of copyrighted images. Fair use images must meet all ten of the non-free content criteria in order to be used in articles, or they will be deleted. To be used on Wikipedia, all other images must be made available under a free and open copyright license that allows commercial and derivative reuse.
- If you own the copyright to the source you want to copy or are a legally designated agent, you may be able to license that text so that we can publish it here. Understand, though, that unlike many other sites, where a person can license their content for use there and retain non-free ownership, that is not possible at Wikipedia. Rather, the release of content must be irrevocable, to the world, into either the public domain (PD) or under a suitably-free and compatible copyright license. Such a release must be done in a verifiable manner, so that the authority of the person purporting to release the copyright is evidenced. See Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials.
- Also note that Wikipedia articles may not be copied or translated without attribution. If you want to copy or translate from another Wikipedia project or article, you must follow the copyright attribution steps described at Wikipedia:Copying within Wikipedia. See also Help:Translation#License requirements.
It's very important that contributors understand and follow these practices, as policy requires that people who persistently do not must be blocked from editing. If you have any questions about this, you are welcome to leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. DanCherek (talk) 17:12, 22 August 2021 (UTC)

Your draft article, Draft:Khon Seng
[edit]Hello, Marcus MT. It has been over six months since you last edited the Articles for Creation submission or Draft page you started, "Khon Seng".
In accordance with our policy that Wikipedia is not for the indefinite hosting of material deemed unsuitable for the encyclopedia mainspace, the draft has been deleted. When you plan on working on it further and you wish to retrieve it, you can request its undeletion. An administrator will, in most cases, restore the submission so you can continue to work on it.
Thanks for your submission to Wikipedia, and happy editing. Liz Read! Talk! 02:21, 11 January 2023 (UTC)
Thinzar Shunlei Yi's native name
[edit]Hello Marcus MT,
I'm just wondering whether this specific link confirms that Thinzar Shunlei Yi's native Burmese name is သင်ဇာရွှန်းလဲ့ရည်. It presumably does, because it was in the page history, but I cannot read Burmese. I want to add it as a citation.
Cheers, Bremps! 15:24, 3 April 2023 (UTC)
Speedy deletion nomination of CJ Platform
[edit]If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.
You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.
A tag has been placed on CJ Platform requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about web content that does not credibly indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia.
Macbeejack ☎ 07:37, 1 January 2024 (UTC)
CJ Platform moved to draftspace
[edit]An article you recently created, CJ Platform, is not suitable as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:
" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. Welcome back
[edit]Hello @Marcus MT, it's so great to see you back on Wikipedia! You’ve been missed. You were away for quite some time, just like me, and it’s wonderful to see you reactivated. Where are you these days? Are you currently overseas? I’m curious how you’re able to edit on Wikipedia, given the junta’s long-standing restrictions. Regardless, a very warm welcome back! Looking forward to catching up and seeing your contributions again. Cheers! Hteiktinhein (talk) 15:12, 30 October 2024 (UTC)
