Can I ask you a questions??
Are you an orthogonal person? --Inetpup 05:39, 19 July 2007 (UTC)
- To quote Kurykh: "Please stop trolling my talk page. Thanks." --Matt 05:41, 19 July 2007 (UTC)
- As Harry Caray said on SNL, "Hey, don't jerk me around, Matty, just answer the question. It's a simple question even a baby could answer it. Well, Matty what would it be? Are you orthogonal or not? Just answer the question; the goddamn question! It's a simple question!"--Inetpup 06:15, 19 July 2007 (UTC)
- Please cease posting on my talk page. If you would like to discuss an article, I may reply on that article's talk page. --Matt 16:06, 19 July 2007 (UTC)
- Friend, I am sorry to have upset and disappoint you. I will try to comply with this request. Signing off, --Inetpup 07:40, 21 July 2007 (UTC)
- I am sincerely sorry that this has burdened our friendship. Please forgive me. Regrets and Signing off, --Inetpup 07:39, 25 July 2007 (UTC)

Thanks very much Matt! Sox23 16:26, 25 July 2007 (UTC)
CMU
Please do not remove "CMU" from the carnegie mellon page without first making your argument on that page's discussion board. As you can see there, the issue was brought up and it was agreed to include it due to the fact that the school is often referred to as CMU. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 164.214.1.55 (talk • contribs) 19:54, August 1, 2007 (UTC)
- Please see Talk:Carnegie Mellon University#CMU name. It's been talked about already. Thanks --Matt 21:03, 1 August 2007 (UTC)
- Also, please see WP:BOLD - even if the discussion hadn't already occurred, doing something like what I did isn't against Wikipedia culture, it's distinctly encouraged. --Matt
Diemacher
Please stop changing the Spirt Airlines page. The data you provide are inaccurate and inconsistent with the business model of the airline. You have posted a route map that was never released to the public, and use terms regarding the airline's operation that are outdated. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Diemacher (talk • contribs).
- Please look at what the warnings say: don't remove data without saying why. Plus your edits break the info box, and therefore look like vandalism. If you don't think that Spirit Airlines has key people, set key_people=None in the infobox so it doesn't break the formatting. Why aren't the executives key people like they are in every other airline article? --Matt 17:28, 8 August 2007 (UTC)
- Oh my god have you seen his recent acts...check out the history on Spirit Airlines...over a half-hour of back-and-forth editing! Ugh Sox23 19:12, 8 August 2007 (UTC)
- Sorry I couldn't help out - but it looks like it's subsided for a bit... --Matt 22:21, 8 August 2007 (UTC)
- Yeah I had him blocked for 2 days...hopefully he won't be back Sox23 05:11, 9 August 2007 (UTC)

- People who mean well - which you did - and contribute a lot to Wikipedia - which you obviously do - deserve better than a block on an issue like this. I know how crushed I'd be if I had a block on my record, with how much I try to keep Wikipedia clean. Seriously, as I said in my barnstar - you do good edits. You're an asset to Wikipedia.
- I notice your edits and respect your edits; I know you're an excellent Wikipedian. I wouldn't have done the same thing you did on the Spirit Airlines article (I've put a few editors on WP:AIV. I suggest using that and waiting until an editor is blocked until reverting in an edit war. I also suggest being extremely cautious about the difference between a content dispute and vandalism, though I know how often one can seem like the other), but I'm confident you believed you did the right thing, and believed you were acting to help Wikipedia. --Matt 05:48, 10 August 2007 (UTC)
- This situation is rather odd, any idea on how we can resolve this. I have a very odd feeling this person may be posing as an airline executive to get his way, and even if he is say the executive, wouldn't it counter our guidelines to have him overhaul the article seeing as he could easily turn it into a large advertisement without allowing any negative publicity to be stated within it (such as rewording the hoffa incident)? Either way, I find many things oddly stated, such as having no hubs when the airline's official documentation lists them as such, perhaps they term it differently, or that route map he claims was not released yet when it was taken directly from the website. A lot of the information he has added counters the information that can be found straight off the website; also, several attacks on users and constant blanking of his statements can be considered a trolling attempt. -- SmthManly / ManlyTalk / ManlyContribs 16:30, 10 August 2007 (UTC)
- Yeah, something's not quite right here. But if you look on Google you get pages like http://www.boardgamegeek.com/user/diemacher - implying that the real Ben Baldanza quite possibly goes by Diemacher on some sites. This seems like more effort than most people would go through for simple vandalism/edit warring. It's very strange that an airline CEO would change Wikipedia without changing his corporate website. (Also, no good CEO would waste his time edit warring or getting into personal attacks.) I'm very confused, but something's not quite right no matter what. --Matt 17:49, 10 August 2007 (UTC)
- Yeah, heh, hence why it is so odd. Anyway, I really see no problem in keeping his edits, but they're unverifiable unless he changes the website also, if he were to get that done then there'd be no real problem in keeping it his way, but as of right now we have some guy with a screename and a claim versus an official corporate website. Either way, this is way too much of a headache to matter. It just sucks they had to block Sox23 over this, that's going to really affect him later seeing how grueling the admin choosing cabal can be these days... ahh the good ol' days were one featured article is all you needed, lol. -- SmthManly / ManlyTalk / ManlyContribs 18:14, 11 August 2007 (UTC)
- As an admin who was blocked previously, I can tell you Sox probably won't have any issue at RfA; if he needs me to, I'll be happy to explain what happened. I sent an email to Diemacher about your concerns, btw. David Fuchs (talk) 19:42, 11 August 2007 (UTC)

Spirit Airlines
Thanks for the notice, I've fixed it now. David Fuchs (talk) 22:57, 9 August 2007 (UTC)

I've responded to everyone's concerns at User talk:David Fuchs#Spirit Airlines. David Fuchs (talk) 14:54, 10 August 2007 (UTC)
If you read the Bankruptcy and Reorganization article, it describes the beginning of the premium service after a bankruptcy in 2003. As for UAL Corporation, if you actually READ the article, it is the parent company of United Airlines, a.k.a. Request for permission to post here
Matty, please give me a second chance. Can you give me permission to post here? Thanks in advance.--Inetpup 05:39, 21 August 2007 (UTC)
- I haven't heard back from you. Since I didn't hear a no ("you cannot"), I assume it's okay to post again. Thanks for missing my typos and thanks for not getting mad. I just make lots of typos while I'm sipping on my Martinis before bedtime. --Inetpup 06:18, 8 September 2007 (UTC)
- Please continue to refrain from posting here. The last thing I said to you was "Please cease posting on my talk page." That still stands. --Matt 13:41, 8 September 2007 (UTC)
- Sorry, I hope you forgive me soon. Thanks! --Inetpup 07:15, 15 September 2007 (UTC)
- Your constant "Please let me post here again" is still posting here. Please completely cease posting here. As I said, if you would like to discuss an article, post on the talk page of that article and I may reply there. Please stop asking for me to forgive you. Please don't reply to this, or ever post on this talk page again. --Matt 14:58, 15 September 2007 (UTC)

Pittsburg Airport Logo
I apologize for the problem. In the future I'll check to see if the image shares a name with another before uploading. Unak78 14:52, 31 August 2007 (UTC)
- Hey has anyone gotten around to uploading the old image or did they just replace the airport logo on that page? Unak78 08:32, 4 September 2007 (UTC)
- I uploaded the airport logo under a more descriptive filename Image:PitAirportLogo.jpg, so everything should be fine now. I had thought about reverting your change, but I figured this was easier since the Pittsburgh airport logo was only included from one page. --Matt 15:12, 4 September 2007 (UTC)

You're welcome. User:AngelOfSadness also reverted vandalism on your userpage as well as me. NHRHS2010 Talk 22:09, 25 September 2007 (UTC)
- True - I thanked her too! Cheers. --Matt 22:43, 25 September 2007 (UTC)
