Image:Arnaget.JPG

[edit]

Hi. You added the tag {{NCT}} to Image:Arnaget.JPG, but there is no Commons image with this. Could you please check the image and correct the tag to the correct Commons name? Thank you, Fred-Chess 16:30, 13 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Hi, thanks for the hint. I've loaded it into the commons, some time ago and changed the name to "Arnage T.jpg". For this reason you couldn't find the picture. I changed the template to {{NowCommons|Arnage T.jpg}}.
MB-one 10:04, 14 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]
By the way, I see, you've fixed the image links on my user page. Thank you!

99 S600

[edit]

I can't imagine why I tagged the S600 image as public domain in the U.S. only. You can change the tag to {{PD-self|date=May 2006}}. Also, could you please fix the caption, which describes it as a 2006 CLS 500? Jagvar 16:31, 5 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]

WikiProject Germany Invitation

[edit]

Hello, MB-one! I'd like to call your attention to the WikiProject Germany and the German-speaking Wikipedians' notice board. I hope their links, sub-projects and discussions are interesting and even helpful to you. If not, I hope that new ones will be.

Hi,

the image you've uploaded is about to be deleted as a copyright violation. Does your comment "Uploaded with permisson" mean that David Knudsen gave this permission?

Regards, --MB-one (talk) 11:45, 8 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Hi. Yes, I emailed David Knudsen and asked him for his permission. He agreed to me uploading the picture, as well as Image:Flight West EMB-120.jpg. Looks like it has been deleted now anyway so I guess it is irrelevant. Thanks for the message. I don't log into wikipedia much anymore and it was only coincidence that I saw your message. -- Adz|talk 02:26, 9 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Do you still have the e-mail text? In this case, we can upload the images again. Thank you--MB-one (talk) 20:33, 10 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. Before saving your changes to an article, please provide an edit summary, which you forgot to do before saving your recent edit to Sheetz. Doing so helps everyone understand the intention of your edit (and prevents legitimate edits from being mistaken for vandalism). It is also helpful to users reading the edit history of the page. Thank you. SchuminWeb (Talk) 21:10, 13 August 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Ottawa Gee-Gees, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page CIS (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Decline reason:

The IP address you're using has been blocked, because it acts like a proxy server or cloud computer provider. While we could grant you IP Block Exemption, this would only be done if there was an actual need for you to edit from this IP address. PhilKnight (talk) 14:19, 9 April 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Disambiguation pages

[edit]

Hello, MB-one. When you moved Regional road to a new title and then redirected the old title to a disambiguation page, you may not have been aware of WP:FIXDABLINKS, which says:

When creating disambiguation pages, fix all resulting mis-directed links.
Before moving an article to a qualified name (in order to create a disambiguation page at the base name, to move an existing disambiguation page to that name, or to redirect that name to a disambiguation page), click on What links here to find all of the incoming links. Repair all of those incoming links to use the new article name.

It would be a great help if you would check the other Wikipedia articles that contain links to "Regional road" and fix them to take readers to the correct article. Thanks. --R'n'B (call me Russ) 10:29, 22 May 2017 (UTC)[reply]

EBACE 2018

[edit]

Many thanks for your EBACE 2018 pictures! I completed the Bombardier Global 7500, Learjet 70/75, Gulfstream G280, Gulfstream G650 and Gulfstream G500/G600 with them. Note that main pics changes should be discussed before changing them. On a side note, I noticed you illustrated new variants: the Challenger 650, HondaJet Elite or the Phenom 100 EV; but those new variants are externally identical to their predecessors, so those are repetitions and could be removed. I tried to maintain varied illustrations in the HondaJet and Phenom 100 articles, but not in the Challenger 600 article and I think that shows.--Marc Lacoste (talk) 06:10, 30 May 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Hello Marc Lacoste,
thanks for your advice. I think I only changed main images, where the new one brought a significant improvement over the old one (full view of the aircraft vs. only partial view or superior viewing angle, etc.). But if you believe, that this goal hasn't been achieved, feel free to revert. About the HondaJet and the Phenom 100 variants: in my opinion even the fact, that those variants don't differ from their main type, is an information, that's worth illustrating, but again feel free to revert, where you think it is necessary.
Cheers --MB-one (talk) 08:40, 30 May 2018 (UTC)[reply]
Pictures that could show the HondaJet Elite differences (more tankage, lighter weight, higher MTOW) or the Phenom 100 EV improvements (weight savings, thrust increase) would be nice, but I'm not sure it would be possible to photograph those, so I removed those. I will try to improve the Challenger 600 pictorial quality later. Bye!--Marc Lacoste (talk) 09:11, 30 May 2018 (UTC)[reply]

I have seen your work on Wikimedia Commons and it is quite great. You are also attending the Geneva Motor Show so I'd request if you could take a photo of the Koenigsegg Jesko from a proper angle, it's be a good contribution. Thanks in advance. U1Quattro (talk) 14:02, 5 March 2019 (UTC)[reply]

@Yamla: Negative! IPQ scores it as "appears to be a proxy". I can confirm, that it is not, just a regular hotel WiFi. Therefore, no VPN to disable. Unless there has been recent malicious activity, the IP range should be unblocked. --MB-one (talk) 09:21, 23 March 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Please do not modify a declined unblock request. The hostname for 176.74.57.164 is vpn23b.hotsplots.net. It is a VPN. --Yamla (talk) 11:47, 23 March 2019 (UTC)[reply]

@Yamla: and yet it isn't an open proxy. Hotsplots probably tunnels the connection from the local ISP to their backbone servers to protect their users. I don't see any reason, why the range should be blocked. Thank you for reconsidering. --MB-one (talk) 13:33, 23 March 2019 (UTC)[reply]
It is. It's running open ports 22, 80, 443, 5001, 5002, 5003, 5004, and 5009. There's nothing more I can do for you, though you are welcome to request another admin review your block by placing another unblock request. --Yamla (talk) 13:53, 23 March 2019 (UTC)[reply]
@Yamla: do you have any suggestions, what can be done to avoid such unfortunate blocking? --MB-one (talk) 14:45, 23 March 2019 (UTC)[reply]
