[edit] Hello. This is a message to let you know that one or more of your recent contributions did not appear to be constructive and have been reverted. Please take some time to familiarise yourself with our policies and guidelines. You can find information about these at our welcome page which also provides further information about contributing constructively to this encyclopedia. If you only meant to make test edits, please use your sandbox for that. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you may leave a message on my talk page. Thank you.
Hi, I have seen that you have persistently made non-constructive edits to MS Dhoni. The article is a listed good article and headings are in an agreed standard format. Please refrain from altering titles without due reason, introducing unnecessary headings, or making any such non-constructive edits.
Thanks! Magentic Manifestations (talk) 06:28, 12 April 2024 (UTC)
Hello, I'm Archer1234. I noticed that you added or changed content in an article, Sandeep Reddy Vanga, but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so. You can have a look at referencing for beginners. If you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. — Archer1234 (t·c) 14:28, 12 April 2024 (UTC)

[edit]Please refrain from making unconstructive edits to Wikipedia. Your edits appear to be disruptive and have been or will be reverted.
- If you are engaged in an article content dispute with another editor, please discuss the matter with the editor at their talk page, or the article's talk page, and seek consensus with them. Alternatively, you can read Wikipedia's dispute resolution page, and ask for independent help at one of the relevant noticeboards.
- If you are engaged in any other form of dispute that is not covered on the dispute resolution page, please seek assistance at Wikipedia's Administrators' noticeboard/Incidents.
Please ensure you are familiar with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines, and please do not continue to make edits that appear disruptive. Continued disruptive editing may result in loss of editing privileges. Thank you.
Hi! This is in regards to your edits to M S Dhoni.
- The article is a GA and has gone through he process to be listed there and the heads are in line with the layout of other similar articles.
- The records and achievements are indeed individual as the article pertains to a person and no need to mention as such and introduce an unnecessary sub-category.
- Why does national honors alone warrant a separate section? All the other honors are also national or international, why special classification for those three? Do not do a random selective classification as per your whims.
Please stop making non-constructive contributions such as adding unnecessary additional sub-headings and push your POV on how the section should exist. You have already been warned of non-constructive and disruptive editing previously. So, do not engage in an unnecessary EDITWAR and if you want to change something, request you to engage in a discussion on the article's talk page to gain CONSENSUS. Magentic Manifestations (talk) 05:13, 30 June 2024 (UTC)
The article History of Varanasi has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
Largely a copy-pasted version of Varanasi#History and the lead, to which this page acted as a redirect. An unnecessary fork.
While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}}
notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.
Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}}
will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Fylindfotberserk (talk) 12:51, 6 July 2024 (UTC)
- History of Varanasi is so long. So it needs a seperate page. And need more contents. Loveforwiki (talk) 16:14, 6 July 2024 (UTC)
Stop.
[edit]If you continue to edit tendentiously and counter to consensus, you may be blocked from editing. You need to understand that Wikipedia operates by WP:CONSENSUS and not by whatever you think is right, and consensus at Redirects for Discussion was clear that the redirect should be targeted to the political alliance per our titling policies (see WP:DIFFCAPS) Cremastra (talk) 22:03, 6 July 2024 (UTC)
- How can Wikipedia redirect a country's name to a political alliance which is formed few months ago. Even earlier alliance "UPA" was not redirected to United Progressive Alliance. Then how can INDIA (which is a country name) redirects to this alliance. Even CHINA redirects China. USA, US, AMERICA redirect to United States. Loveforwiki (talk) 02:30, 7 July 2024 (UTC)

History of Varanasi moved to draftspace
[edit]Thanks for your contributions to History of Varanasi. Unfortunately, I do not think it is ready for publishing at this time because it has too many problems of language or grammar. I have converted your article to a draft which you can improve, undisturbed for a while.
Please see more information at Help:Unreviewed new page. When the article is ready for publication, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page OR move the page back. ~~ AirshipJungleman29 (talk) 13:37, 10 July 2024 (UTC)

[edit]Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Public image of Narendra Modi, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Bloomberg. Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

[edit]WP plays by certain rules, one of which is not edit warring. You attempted to make a new edit that in my view is not consonant with either the tenor of the lead, nor with the prose. I reverted it. Per WP:BRD and WP:ONUS, please make a case for your edit on Talk:Varanasi and attempt to achieve a consensus for it. As I stated in my edit summary, a new consensus takes time, at least a week, and sometimes more.
Please also read WP:Lead fixation. A lead is typically a distilled summary, not a place for general facts and figures. Best regards, Fowler&fowler«Talk» 10:39, 4 August 2024 (UTC)

[edit]Hi Loveforwiki! I noticed that you recently marked an edit as minor that may not have been. "Minor edit" has a specific definition on Wikipedia—it refers only to superficial edits that could never be the subject of a dispute, such as typo corrections or reverting obvious vandalism. Any edit that changes the meaning of an article is not a minor edit, even if it only concerns a single word. You're using the minor edit checkbox on nearly every edit, and most of them are not minor edits. [1] is a recent example. Please only use the check box for truly minor edits using the critieria in WP:MINOREDIT. Ravensfire (talk) 13:10, 3 September 2024 (UTC)

Production of Baahubali films moved to draftspace
[edit]Thanks for your contributions to Production of Baahubali films. Unfortunately, I do not think it is ready for publishing at this time because Sending to draft as an WP:ATD. Not sure if this is a page about the production of the films or a page about the franchise but it is essentially an unecessary WP:CFORK. . I have converted your article to a draft which you can improve, undisturbed for a while.
Please see more information at Help:Unreviewed new page. When the article is ready for publication, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page OR move the page back. CNMall41 (talk) 05:11, 10 September 2024 (UTC)
Copying within Wikipedia requires attribution
[edit] Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. It appears that you copied or moved content from Baahubali (franchise) into Draft:Production of Baahubali films. While you are welcome to re-use Wikipedia's content (here or elsewhere), Wikipedia's licensing does require that you provide attribution to the original contributor(s). When copying within Wikipedia, this is supplied at minimum in an edit summary at the page into which you've copied content, disclosing the copying and linking to the copied page, e.g., copied content from [[page name]]; see that page's history for attribution
. It is good practice, especially if copying is extensive, to also place a properly formatted {{copied}} template on the talk pages of the source and destination. Please provide attribution for this duplication if it has not already been supplied by another editor, and if you have copied material between pages before, even if it was a long time ago, you should provide attribution for that also. You can read more about the procedure and the reasons at Wikipedia:Copying within Wikipedia. Thank you. — Diannaa (talk) 21:54, 10 September 2024 (UTC)

You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war according to the reverts you have made on India. This means that you are repeatedly changing content back to how you think it should be although other editors disagree. Users are expected to collaborate with others, to avoid editing disruptively, and to try to reach a consensus, rather than repeatedly undoing other users' edits once it is known that there is a disagreement.
Points to note:
- Edit warring is disruptive regardless of how many reverts you have made;
- Do not edit war even if you believe you are right.
If you find yourself in an editing dispute, use the article's talk page to discuss controversial changes and work towards a version that represents consensus among editors. You can post a request for help at an appropriate noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, it may be appropriate to request temporary page protection. If you engage in an edit war, you may be blocked from editing. Ratnahastin (talk) 04:10, 23 October 2024 (UTC)

Introduction to contentious topics
[edit]You have recently edited a page related to India, Pakistan, and Afghanistan, a topic designated as contentious. This is a brief introduction to contentious topics and does not imply that there are any issues with your editing.
A special set of rules applies to certain topic areas, which are referred to as contentious topics. These are specially designated topics that tend to attract more persistent disruptive editing than the rest of the project and have been designated as contentious topics by the Arbitration Committee. When editing a contentious topic, Wikipedia’s norms and policies are more strictly enforced, and Wikipedia administrators have special powers in order to reduce disruption to the project.
Within contentious topics, editors should edit carefully and constructively, refrain from disrupting the encyclopedia, and:
- adhere to the purposes of Wikipedia;
- comply with all applicable policies and guidelines;
- follow editorial and behavioural best practice;
- comply with any page restrictions in force within the area of conflict; and
- refrain from gaming the system.
Editors are advised to err on the side of caution if unsure whether making a particular edit is consistent with these expectations. If you have any questions about contentious topics procedures you may ask them at the arbitration clerks' noticeboard or you may learn more about this contentious topic here. You may also choose to note which contentious topics you know about by using the {{Ctopics/aware}} template.

Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, articles should not be moved, as you did to Sarai Kale Khan, without good reason. They should have a name that is both accurate and intuitive. Wikipedia has some guidelines in place to help with this. Generally, a page should only be moved to a new title if the current name doesn't follow these guidelines. Also, if a page move is being discussed, consensus needs to be reached before anybody moves the page. If you would like to experiment with page titles and moving, please use the test Wikipedia. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. Thank you. - Ratnahastin (talk) 14:38, 23 November 2024 (UTC)
