The article Linda Glassop has been proposed for deletion because it appears to have no references. Under Wikipedia policy, this newly created biography of a living person will be deleted unless it has at least one reference to a reliable source that directly supports material in the article.
If you created the article, please don't be offended. Instead, consider improving the article. For help on inserting references, see Referencing for beginners, or ask at the help desk. Once you have provided at least one reliable source, you may remove the {{prod blp}} tag. Please do not remove the tag unless the article is sourced. If you cannot provide such a source within ten days, the article may be deleted, but you can request that it be undeleted when you are ready to add one. Gaurav Pruthitalk 06:22, 16 April 2013 (UTC)
Speedy deletion nomination of ComWriter
[edit]If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.
You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.
A tag has been placed on ComWriter, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page seems to be unambiguous advertising which only promotes a company, product, group, service or person and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become encyclopedic. Please read the guidelines on spam and Wikipedia:FAQ/Organizations for more information.
If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, you can place a request here. Vigyani (talk) 06:50, 16 April 2013 (UTC)

[edit]Please do not write or add to an article about yourself, as you apparently did at Linda Glassop. Creating an autobiography is strongly discouraged – see our guideline on writing autobiographies. If you create such an article, it may be deleted. If what you have done in life is genuinely notable and can be verified according to our policy for articles about living people, someone else will probably create an article about you sooner or later (see Wikipedians with articles). If you wish to add to an existing article about yourself, please propose the changes on its talk page. Please understand that this is an encyclopedia and not a personal web space or social networking site. If your article has already been deleted, please see: Why was my page deleted?, and if you feel the deletion was an error, please discuss it with the deleting administrator. Thank you. Hello, Lglassop. We welcome your contributions to Wikipedia, but if you are affiliated with some of the people, places or things you have written about in the article ComWriter, you may have a conflict of interest or close connection to the subject.
All editors are required to comply with Wikipedia's neutral point of view content policy. People who are very close to a subject often have a distorted view of it, which may cause them to inadvertently edit in ways that make the article either too flattering or too disparaging. People with a close connection to a subject are not absolutely prohibited from editing about that subject, but they need to be especially careful about ensuring their edits are verified by reliable sources and writing with as little bias as possible.
If you are very close to a subject, here are some ways you can reduce the risk of problems:
- Avoid or exercise great caution when editing or creating articles related to you, your organization, or its competitors, as well as projects and products they are involved with.
- Be cautious about deletion discussions. Everyone is welcome to provide information about independent sources in deletion discussions, but avoid advocating for deletion of articles about your competitors.
- Avoid linking to the Wikipedia article or website of your organization in other articles (see Wikipedia:Spam).
- Exercise great caution so that you do not accidentally breach Wikipedia's content policies.
Please familiarize yourself with relevant content policies and guidelines, especially those pertaining to neutral point of view, verifiability of information, and autobiographies.
For information on how to contribute to Wikipedia when you have a conflict of interest, please see our frequently asked questions for organizations. Thank you. AllyD (talk) 06:57, 16 April 2013 (UTC)
Welcome to Wikipedia. It might not have been your intention, but you removed a speedy deletion tag from ComWriter, a page you have created yourself. If you believe the page should not be deleted, you may contest the deletion by clicking on the button that says: Click here to contest this speedy deletion and appears inside the speedy deletion notice. This will allow you to make your case on the page's talk page. Administrators will consider your reasoning before deciding what to do with the page. Thank you. AllyD (talk) 06:59, 16 April 2013 (UTC)
Please do not remove speedy deletion notices from pages you have created yourself, as you did with this edit to ComWriter. Please make your case on the page's talk page instead if you disagree with the deletion. Thank you. Wtmitchell (talk) (earlier Boracay Bill) 07:04, 16 April 2013 (UTC)
Please stop your disruptive editing. If you continue to blank out or remove portions of page content, templates or other materials from Wikipedia, as you did to Linda Glassop with this edit, you may be blocked from editing. I dream of horses If you reply here, please leave me a {{Talkback}} message on my talk page. @ 07:29, 16 April 2013 (UTC)
Please stop removing speedy deletion notices from pages that you have created yourself, as you did with ComWriter. If you continue, you may be blocked from editing. Vigyani (talk) 08:02, 16 April 2013 (UTC)
This is your last warning. The next time you remove a speedy deletion notice from a page you have created yourself, as you did at ComWriter, you may be blocked from editing without further notice. Vigyani (talk) 08:07, 16 April 2013 (UTC)

[edit]Thanks for uploading File:ComWriter Logo-sml.jpg. The media description page currently specifies that it is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, it is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the media was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that will be useful. However, please note that media for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).
If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'file' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "File" from the dropdown box. Note that all non-free media not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. Hazard-Bot (talk) 04:07, 18 April 2013 (UTC)

Hello, Lglassop. I wanted to let you know that I’m proposing an article that you started, Linda Glassop, for deletion because it's a biography of a living person that lacks references. If you don't want Linda Glassop to be deleted, please add a reference to the article.
If you don't understand this message, you can leave a note on my talk page.
Thanks, Gbawden (talk) 08:53, 2 May 2013 (UTC)
Gbawden (talk) 08:53, 2 May 2013 (UTC)
The file File:Image of Linda Glassop.png has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
Uploaded for Linda Glassop. No other use.
While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated files}}
notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the file's talk page.
Please consider addressing the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated files}}
will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and files for discussion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. --Minorax«¦talk¦» 06:39, 23 December 2023 (UTC)
