Hi. I had to contest your request for speedy deletion of this article. It's in Albanian, and though the author is a pain in the neck, judging from the version history, we have to follow accepted procedure. Favonian (talk) 14:21, 27 September 2009 (UTC)
- Which should be to delete it... CSD G1 specifically includes non-English text on the English Wikipedia.... Leuko Talk/Contribs 14:23, 27 September 2009 (UTC)
- Rather wish you were right, but it says in WP:CSD: "This excludes poor writing, partisan screeds, obscene remarks, implausible theories, vandalism and hoaxes, fictional material, coherent non-English material, and poorly translated material." Favonian (talk) 14:28, 27 September 2009 (UTC)

why will you not let me delete Lindsay Doo's self penned biography? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 86.190.19.6 (talk • contribs)

Settlement
- I gave this notice to user 81.135.1.181 : " Edits are not vandalism. Please ensure recent edits constitute vandalism before re-reporting. but content dispute. However, if further reverts occur the 3RR will be applied. This dispute has been explained in the article Israeli settlement. There is no need to mention this in Settlement. "
If further reverts occur, don't fall in the 3RR trap, but inform me (or another admin if I'm no longer online) and I (or this other admin) will apply the 3RR rule. JoJan (talk) 14:55, 27 September 2009 (UTC)
- Thanks, though I will have to disagree with you that repeatedly adding unsourced controversial personal opinion in an effort to subvert the aims of building an accurate encyclopedia is not vandalism... Leuko Talk/Contribs 15:08, 27 September 2009 (UTC)

I believe that the original deletion of the page "Maryland Teenage Republicans" is unjustified.
There is no reason for why this page should be deleted. There are many similar pages to this, for all types of political, religious, or philosophical reasons throughout wikipedia. If Wikipedia is intent upon being a factual (and not censorship) website, then I would highly suggest keeping this page and its content in whole.
I contend there is a liberal anti-Maryland Teenage Republican movement on Wikipedia, and the article was deleted based on lies, mistruths, and flat out lies. The organization is absolutely one of the most influential organizations in Maryland, if not the nation. I strongly disagree and disapprove with your deletion of the page and I strongly request that it not be deleted again.
There is no "consensus" to delete the page - the organization exists whether Wikipedia approves of their mission and goals - or not. Do you censor history as well? Do you leave out all of the negative history of the world and simply re-write it as you see fit. This is an outrage. The Maryland Teenage Republicans exist - there are hundreds of members - and they have a legitimate purpose, goals, and focus. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Thetruthspeaker09 (talk • contribs) 15:42, 4 October 2009 (UTC)
- 1) If this group is one of the most influential organizations in Maryland/the nation, there should be no problem coming up with reliable secondary sources to prove that the group meets the WP:ORG notability requirements for inclusion in this encyclopedia.
- 2) There is a consensus to delete the page - hence the consensus at the deletion discussion.
- 3) Please refrain from personal attacks. Leuko Talk/Contribs 13:00, 5 October 2009 (UTC)
Please stop reverting the page, it is completely biased and was rewritten by a Colorado Avalanche fan to the point where it could not be reverted back to its original form. Its better with less info than something singing his praises without facts. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 99.250.95.95 (talk) 16:12, 5 October 2009 (UTC)

- Hi just seen this editing. Isn't the the purpose of the links section to provide further reading? Surely local sites are of interest to the reader? Brixtonboy (talk) 16:09, 27 September 2009 (UTC)
- Wikipedia is not a web directory, but rather an encyclopedia. Links to a church that happen to be in town are not very useful to a general encyclopedia reader. Neither are links to sites which contain a lot of advertising, and the purpose of adding the link is driving traffic toward that advertising. Leuko Talk/Contribs 08:10, 4 October 2009 (UTC)

The words were "Grosso fell." I'd just done an edit, changing my wording becuase I thought it could be improved. That information was left out. I checked the 'minor edit' box, and as I recall left a cursory explanation. I had also just finished a much larger edit, so one might suspect an afterthought. As I recall, the larger edit was reverted too. This is good procedure? What's entertaining is that I was undoing a consistent POV 'editor.' Tapered (talk) 02:13, 9 October 2009 (UTC)

Proposed major reforms to decade articles
Hi - I noticed you have contributed recently to one or more of the decade articles (1990s, 1960s etc). I am proposing some major changes to these articles, as I have outlined in Talk:1990s/Archives/2012#Suggested_reform_of_decade_articles, and I would be interested in hearing your views in the first instance. Thanks. Kransky (talk) 09:01, 17 October 2009 (UTC)

Hello!
The information there is general knowledge, not of a promotional nature. Stop deleting it. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 99.231.87.243 (talk) 02:52, 19 October 2009 (UTC)
- Information on specific courses with web links is promotional. Wikipedia is not a directory. Leuko Talk/Contribs 03:00, 19 October 2009 (UTC)
What web links? The web links I added was for the Wikipedia page for the LEF, a government training program in Ontario.
And when you add information you're supposed to provide references, which sometimes means including links. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 99.231.87.243 (talk) 03:14, 19 October 2009 (UTC)
If you would take the time to Google that topic you would find it is a legitimate government program, the only of its kind, in Canada. And if you go to the links you're fussing about, they're WIKIPEDIA pages. You're deleting links to other wikipedia pages. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 99.231.87.243 (talk) 03:22, 19 October 2009 (UTC) \
- 1) The web links were referring to links promoting specific schools. 2) What I was referring to was general interest. A general reader of a global encyclopedia would not care about a training program in 1 city in the world that is not at all notable. Please stop reverting, and take your case for inclusion to the talk page to garner consensus for addition. Thank you. Leuko Talk/Contribs 03:37, 19 October 2009 (UTC)

Pardon me sir, but I am new to the whole Wikipedia thing, and I was wondering who/what gave you the right to wield so much power. Please reply/contact me whenever possible. Please do not revert the Paz Lenchantin page
The Leftbrain111 edits are more accurate than anything else that has been posted previously on Paz. All of the edits done by Leftbrain111 are being run by Paz Lenchantin in person. This is very important, as many of the facts listed previously were not technically correct and were legally an issue. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 98.154.54.27 (talk • contribs)
- Those edits blanked more than half the page without explanation - therefore it looked like Vandalism. Please use the edit summary to explain what you are doing. Thank you. Furthermore, if you are saying that the subject is "running" the edits, then that's a WP:COI issue. Leuko Talk/Contribs 01:30, 26 October 2009 (UTC)
- In reference the Paz Lenchantin edits, it is important that you realize that all sources were not removed and only the most current and accurate sources were put in place. Accuracy is paramont and thus some of the material was fact checked with Paz directly. There is no COI issue, as Paz is not the author of any of the edits or additional text. If you are worried about vandalism, it might be in your interest to stop putting up information that is neither relevant or accurate. Please take the time to reread the edits presented carefully, as I'm not sure why you would have any problem with them. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Leftbrain111 (talk • contribs) 06:22, 26 October 2009 (UTC)
- Well, putting in the edit summary "This is Paz..the following changes were okayed by myself. it is current and accurate. Please stop undoing it!! if you have any further questions you may speak to my manager (email address redacted)" contradicts what you are saying now. As you have been blocked for vandalism/disruptive editing, there really isn't any need to take this any further. Leuko Talk/Contribs 12:29, 26 October 2009 (UTC)

Now I am still not seeing any indication that it meets Wikipedia's notability guidelines for inclusion. Don't ignore the first rule of WP: which is good faith, and don't try to be a Rules lawyer, either.
If you are going to revert, I suggest you first check what you're reverting.
Rather than be so pig-headed, and get into a battle you can't win, why don't you show some common courtesy and check the information?
Walter Gotell went onto be a very famous actor, most notably, playing General Gogol in the Bond-movie franchise. Appearing in We Dive at Dawn was only his third movie role, but the biggest of his career to date.
That was why I was including his name (I added it at the end because he was uncredited).

- I agree with you about WP:RS but you gave Birdman146 a level 2 vandalism warning. If you had to give a warning, it probably should have been one about reliable sources. Better yet, a short pointer on the article's talk page to WP:RS would have been more useful to the user. --NeilN talk ♦ contribs 22:29, 21 November 2009 (UTC)

Speedy deletion nomination of Zhe Zeng
A tag has been placed on Zhe Zeng requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a person or group of people, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable, as well as our subject-specific notability guideline for biographies. You may also wish to consider using a Wizard to help you create articles - see the Article Wizard.
If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}}
to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the page does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that they userfy the page or have a copy emailed to you. Deletion
There is absolutely no reason to delete the Brandon Banks page. There are many, many pages just like. He is a prominent player on a major college football team. He is likely to be playing professional football next season and thus have a page anyways. Please reconsider deletion.Topgun530 (talk) 14:07, 30 November 2009 (UTC)
- Hmm, the page I nominated for deletion was about some 11 year old non-notable kid writing about himself. I am not sure we are talking about the same page. But in any case, you should contact the admin that actually deleted the page (it will be in the page logs) because they have the ability to undelete, whereas I don't. Thanks, Leuko Talk/Contribs 04:29, 1 December 2009 (UTC)
- I think you're incorrect. The page has you tagged as the person who deleted it.Topgun530 (talk) 04:32, 1 December 2009 (UTC)
- That can't be - I am not an admin, so I can't delete anything. Leuko Talk/Contribs 04:35, 1 December 2009 (UTC)
- Looking at the logs, it looks like User:Acroterion actually deleted the page, I would suggest contacting him/her. Leuko Talk/Contribs 04:37, 1 December 2009 (UTC)

Taunting undo.
I kvetched @ you about an earlier undo in Oct. Now it's my turn to eat a little crow. On an unnamed discussion page after a perfectly legitimate edit of a contemporary bio page, I taunted the subject using a curse we'd both understand. Can I edit it out? Tapered (talk) 20:22, 30 November 2009 (UTC)
- Well, yes, you can edit it out and then save it, but it would still be in the page history. The only way to completely get rid of it from public view is to request Wikipedia:Suppression. Leuko Talk/Contribs 04:34, 1 December 2009 (UTC)

Brandon Banks deletion
I believe the Brandon Banks page was deleted without just cause. I believe the wrong page was deleted. Please assist. Topgun530 (talk) 23:59, 9 December 2009 (UTC)
- Please see the prior discussion. You need to contact the admin who actually deleted the page. I am not an admin and do not have the ability to delete or undelete. Failing that, WP:Deletion review would be the next step. Leuko Talk/Contribs 04:18, 10 December 2009 (UTC)
