This is an automated message from CorenSearchBot. I have performed a web search with the contents of Lea rowing club, and it appears to include a substantial copy of http://www.learc.org.uk/rowing.asp. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material; such additions will be deleted. You may use external websites as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. See our copyright policy for further details.
This message was placed automatically, and it is possible that the bot is confused and found similarity where none actually exists. If that is the case, you can remove the tag from the article and it would be appreciated if you could drop a note on the maintainer's talk page. CorenSearchBot (talk) 19:33, 2 January 2010 (UTC)
- With ref. to your note at Coren's talk page, the website clearly shows a copyright notice, so you're incorrect that the information is in the public domain. The club could change its website to show its contents as being released under the Creative Commons CC-BY-SA license or an official of the club could contact our WP:OTRS team to provide a release of the work. In either case, you would need to clearly attribute the source. Unfortunately, just because you say it's free doesn't make it so ('cause we don't know who you are) - we need proof of that.
