[edit]Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, your addition of one or more external links to the page List of people with hepatitis C has been reverted. Your edit here was reverted by an automated bot that attempts to remove unwanted links and spam from Wikipedia. The external link you added or changed is on my list of links to remove and probably shouldn't be included in Wikipedia. The external links I reverted were matching the following regex rule(s): rule: '\bbravehost\.com' . If the external link you inserted or changed was to a blog, forum, free web hosting service, or similar site, then please check the information on the external site thoroughly. Note that such sites should probably not be linked to if they contain information that is in violation of the creator's copyright (see Linking to copyrighted works), or they are not written by a recognised, reliable source. Linking to sites that you are involved with is also strongly discouraged (see conflict of interest).
If you were trying to insert an external link that does comply with our policies and guidelines, then please accept my creator's apologies and feel free to undo the bot's revert. Please read Wikipedia's external links guideline for more information, and consult my list of frequently-reverted sites. For more information about me, see my FAQ page. Thanks! [edit] Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute to the encyclopedia, one or more of the external links you added to the page List of people with hepatitis C do not comply with our guidelines for external links and have been removed. Wikipedia is not a collection of links; nor should it be used as a platform for advertising or promotion, and doing so is contrary to the goals of this project. Because Wikipedia uses nofollow tags, external links do not alter search engine rankings. If you feel the link should be added to the article, please discuss it on the article's talk page before reinserting it. Please take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia.
Your edit here was reverted by an automated bot that attempts to remove links which are discouraged per our external links guideline from Wikipedia. The external link you added or changed is on my list of links to remove and probably shouldn't be included in Wikipedia. I removed the following link(s): http://i171.photobucket.com/albums/u313/hopeforhepc/Family Photos/CancerFundDance045-1-1-1-3.jpg". If the external link you inserted or changed was to a media file (e.g. an image file) on an external server, then note that linking to such files may be subject to Wikipedia's copyright policy and therefore probably should not be linked to. Please consider using our upload facility to upload a suitable media file.
If you were trying to insert an external link that does comply with our policies and guidelines, then please accept my creator's apologies and feel free to undo the bot's revert. However, if the link does not comply with our policies and guidelines, but your edit included other, constructive, changes to the article, feel free to make those changes again without re-adding the link. Please read Wikipedia's external links guideline for more information, and consult my list of frequently-reverted sites. For more information about me, see my FAQ page. Welcome to Wikipedia. Everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia. However, please do not add promotional material to articles or other Wikipedia pages, as you did to List of people with hepatitis C. Advertising and using Wikipedia as a "soapbox" is against Wikipedia policy and not permitted. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about Wikipedia. Thank you. Laurie, one of the things I've learned as I've been this article's primary editor is the strength, courage, and resiliency of those who suffer from this horrible disease. I'm sure that's true about you as well. However, it is against Wikipedia policy to make edits about yourself, so I had to revert your edits to this list. Best wishes to you, and stay healthy. Hep C list
[edit]Hi Laurie, I saw that the information about you that I had reverted earlier this week had been re-added. I'm assuming that it was done by you, or someone close to you. You notice that making the edit without signing in didn't work, and I reverted it again. You need to know that I will continue to revert your attempts at self-promotion, and if you persist, I can tell you that you'll be blocked from editing here. If you try and set up other accounts (called "sock puppetry"), not only will you be blocked, you'll be banned. I highly recommend that you stop, and try to promote your book elsewhere. You should also know that your vandalism has resulted in the list becoming unreadable, which doesn't help the cause of promoting Hep C awareness. A lot of work has gone into this featured list, and from what I understand, it has done some good in the Hep C community. I'm sure that's not what you've intended.
