I have sent you a note about a page you started
[edit]Hi Lark999. Thank you for your work on Philodromus rufus ssp. pacificus. Another editor, Memer15151, has reviewed it as part of new pages patrol and left the following comment:
Articles should be written from a neutral point of view; I would remove "important" and rephrase the "Appearance" section to read something like "...is a distinguishing feature from its parent species" other than "...is notable because". Regardless, thank you for creating the article!

[edit]Hi Lark999. Thank you for your work on Philodromus rufus pacificus. Another editor, CFA, has reviewed it as part of new pages patrol and left the following comment:
Subspecies are not inherently notable. Please cite independent sources with significant coverage to establish notability.

- @CFA: I have cited more sources with coverage and records to establish notability. if I must add more just let me know! Lark999 (talk) 15:03, 4 December 2024 (UTC)

[edit]Hi Lark999. Thank you for your work on Acorynus luzonicus. Another editor, Memer15151, has reviewed it as part of new pages patrol and left the following comment:
See tags placed on article. iNaturalist observations can be wrong. Also, I would consider adding a speciesbox. Good start, though, thanks for creating this article.

- also see:https://www.pinterest.com/pin/acorynus-luzonicus-lanhsuanus-shibata-1982--584623595379392375/
- which I cant site but also is.
- there are multiple subspecies and they are distinct. the one shown in the observation just has smaller spots. Lark999 (talk) 22:22, 5 December 2024 (UTC)
- info on subspecies :https://www.biodiversitylibrary.org/item/22250#page/115/mode/1up
- takes an insane amount of time to load tho. Lark999 (talk) 22:23, 5 December 2024 (UTC)
- Wikipedia is a tertiary source. We rely mostly on secondary sources. If no secondary sources that are considered to be reliable analyze the observation, it will not be appropriate to include it in the article. Although I do believe that your analysis of the photograph shows that it is the species, it would be classified as original research, which is not allowed on Wikipedia. I would say the statement could be kept if a subject-matter expert IDs the observation as sp. luzonicus. In summary, it would not be appropriate to analyze the observation yourself and make a conclusion without confirmation from a reliable source or subject-matter expert; doing so would result in original research.
