Your draft is here Draft:Cameron Scott, actor, filmmaker where you can edit it, your user page is not a place to create articles so will be deleted. Theroadislong (talk) 18:42, 23 June 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Hey User:Theroadislong

Thank you for pointing that out. The page may be deleted if the information is safe.

May I request your assistance with what content to populate on the user page?

Hello KingdomKome. The nature of your edits gives the impression you have an undisclosed financial stake in promoting a topic, but you have not complied with Wikipedia's mandatory paid editing disclosure requirements. Paid advocacy is a category of conflict of interest (COI) editing that involves being compensated by a person, group, company or organization to use Wikipedia to promote their interests. Undisclosed paid advocacy is prohibited by our policies on neutral point of view and what Wikipedia is not, and is an especially serious type of COI; the Wikimedia Foundation regards it as a "black hat" practice akin to black-hat search-engine optimization.

Paid advocates are very strongly discouraged from direct article editing, and should instead propose changes on the talk page of the article in question if an article exists. If the article does not exist, paid advocates are extremely strongly discouraged from attempting to write an article at all. At best, any proposed article creation should be submitted through the articles for creation process, rather than directly.

Regardless, if you are receiving or expect to receive compensation for your edits, broadly construed, you are required by the Wikimedia Terms of Use to disclose your employer, client and affiliation. You can post such a mandatory disclosure to your user page at User:KingdomKome. The template {{Paid}} can be used for this purpose – e.g. in the form: {{paid|user=KingdomKome|employer=InsertName|client=InsertName}}. If I am mistaken – you are not being directly or indirectly compensated for your edits – please state that in response to this message. Otherwise, please provide the required disclosure. In either case, do not edit further until you answer this message. Theroadislong (talk) 18:49, 23 June 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Disclosure of COI

[edit]

Thank you for posting the cheat sheet on your USER page it has helped significantly with my formatting and I will continue to learn more.

There is no intention of the article as being a blackhat promotional piece.

June 2021

[edit]

Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute to Wikipedia, at least one of your recent edits, such as the one you made to WP:Teahouse, appears to have been inappropriate, and has been reverted. Please feel free to use the sandbox for any test edits you would like to make, and read the welcome page to learn more about contributing constructively to this encyclopedia. Thank you. The Teahouse isn't the place for a draft, nor is your user page, but I see that someone has moved the content to Draft: space. David Biddulph (talk) 19:09, 23 June 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Response to June 2021

Thank you for your response. A helpful user has assisted with moving it to drafts. I am learning to navigate Wikipedia quickly and now see the error. Thank you for reverting. In the future will navigate the sandbox for further edits.

Question for Deletion Assistance

[edit]

This is a question for Theroadislong may I expedite the Contested deletion by deleting the User page information myself?

KingdomKome (talk) 19:17, 23 June 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Yes and please move the conflict of interest disclosure to your user page. Theroadislong (talk) 19:23, 23 June 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Deleted User Info and moved CONFLICT OF INTEREST

[edit]

Thank you Theroadislong May I request assistance with the final steps to getting the article published?

KingdomKome (talk) 11:10, 24 June 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Yes, I suggest you spend a few months editing articles where you have no conflict of interest in order to gain the required proficiency, you are being paid to edit, do your client the courtesy of learning how before you charge them. Theroadislong (talk) 11:13, 24 June 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Theroadislong I am being paid to do several things, including edit. I am asking once again if I may acquire assistance on getting this article published as soon as possible. Even it means outsourcing it. Please advise.

KingdomKome (talk) 11:17, 24 June 2021 (UTC)[reply]

No, I will not be helping you further, paid editing is just about tolerated but most definitely not encouraged. Theroadislong (talk) 11:25, 24 June 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Unfortunate, I don't to see this as encouraging. If anything you'd be lessening the long queue of people who are genuinely trying to submit submissions. I'm asking for help and have taken every piece of advice and guidance you've offered. But agree to disagree I wish you the best on your long road Jim! Thank you for the assistance I've gathered from you thus far. Will be applying it to all of my additions going forward. KingdomKome (talk) 11:36, 24 June 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Your account has been blocked indefinitely from editing because of the following problems: the account has been used for advertising or promotion, which is contrary to the purpose of Wikipedia, and your username indicates that the account represents a business, organisation, group, or web site, which is against the username policy.

You may request a change of name and unblock if you intend to make useful contributions other than promoting your business or organization. To do this, first search Special:CentralAuth for available usernames that comply with the username policy. Once you have found an acceptable username, post the text {{unblock-spamun|Your proposed new username|Your reason here}} at the bottom of your talk page. Replace the text "Your proposed new username" with your new username and replace the text "Your reason here" with your reasons to be unblocked. In your reasons, you must:

  • Disclose any compensation you may receive for your contributions in accordance with the Wikipedia:Paid-contribution disclosure requirement.
  • Convince us that you understand the reason for your block and that you will not repeat the kind of edits for which you were blocked.
  • Describe in general terms the contributions that you intend to make if you are unblocked.
Appeals: If, after reviewing the guide to appealing blocks, you believe this block was made in error, you may appeal it by adding the text {{unblock|Your reason here}} at the bottom of your talk page. Replace the text "Your reason here" with the reasons you believe the block was an error, and publish the page. Longhair\talk 12:10, 24 June 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Request reason:

REASONS BELOW: :* DISCLOSURE - Previously this was an account created to make and edit pages around Kingdom Kome (pty) Ltd as Disclosed in the user page[user:KingdomKome]. Any further disclosure I am happy to provide. :* ACKNOWLEDGEMENT OF REASONS - It has become clear to me the reasons for the block were due to the violation of the username policy and a new proposed username has been submitted as "Wordclimber" :* CHANGES TO BEHAVIOUR ONCE UNBLOCKED - This account will work on improving its community standing by editing and contributing to different articles on Wikipedia and learn how to be a better editor on Wikipedia. This account will not attempt to resubmit entries it has previously made and will rather request assistance from more experienced editors to adhere to purpose of Wikipedia and this account ultimately endeavours to become a positively and useful contributor to the community where relevant.

Decline reason:

It's been two weeks since 331dot's question below, and no response has been made, so I'm closing this unblock request. Any future request should address the question of whether you would be happy to restrict your editing to subjects unrelated to KingdomKome. If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

Reason cited for block is only half correct and no evidence of how account has been used for advertising or promotion is evident. As a new editor, I was attempting to log and create entries for the two founders of the business of Kingdom Kome. There has been no advertising or promotion of an individual or business to my knowledge. If there has been it has not been intentional. The second reason for the block has been addressed above and will be amended moving forward.— Preceding unsigned comment added by KingdomKome (talkcontribs)

Editing about your founders is promotional, especially with the poor sourcing. Wikipedia is interested in what independent reliable sources say about a topic, not what it says about itself(such as through an interview). Would you agree to not make edits related to your conflict of interest? (such as KingdomKome or its personnel) This would not necessarily be permanent, but it probably won't be quick either, as you will need to build up an edit history showing that you understand relevant Wikipedia policies. Please tell what topics you might edit about instead. 331dot (talk) 19:38, 11 October 2021 (UTC)[reply]
