Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute to Wikipedia, introducing inappropriate pages, such as The Library (2012 film), is not in accordance with our policies. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox.

If you think that the page was nominated in error, contest the nomination by clicking on the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion" in the speedy deletion tag. Doing so will take you to the talk page where you can explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. You can also visit the page's talk page directly to give your reasons, but be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but do not hesitate to add information that is consistent with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. -- MSTR (Chat Me!) 11:04, 23 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]

August 2012

This is your last warning. The next time you disrupt Wikipedia, as you did at Katy Perry, you may be blocked from editing without further notice. -- MSTR (Chat Me!) 11:06, 23 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]

When articles about albums are created, we are required to meet specific criteria for inclusion in the encyclopedia. All articles on albums, singles or other recordings must meet the basic criteria at the notability guidelines, which includes significant coverage in reliable sources that are independent of the subject. Unreleased material is only notable if it has significant independent coverage in reliable, independent sources. An album should not have an article independent from the artist until its title, track listing and release date have all been publicly confirmed by the artist or their record label. When this information is lacking, the community guidelines require redirecting the article to that of the artist. Therefore, the Girl on Fire (Alicia Keys Album) article has been redirected to the Alicia Keys article. Lacking notability and verified content, the only alternate result outside of redirecting the article is outright deletion. Retaining the "redirect" is a more desirable option, which allows for easier restoration of content, once the notability guidelines are met. Accordingly, please do not remove the redirect code without the basic information required, supported by sources. For more information, please review: WP:NALBUMS and WP:CRYSTAL. If you have questions, please feel free to contact me. Hope you have a great weekend. Best regards, Cindy(talk to me) 03:59, 25 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Orphaned non-free media (File:Skyzoodream.jpeg)

[edit]

Thanks for uploading File:Skyzoodream.jpeg. The media description page currently specifies that it is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, it is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the media was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that media for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'file' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "File" from the dropdown box. Note that all non-free media not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. Hazard-Bot (talk) 04:42, 25 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]

The article A Dream Deferred (album) has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Non-notable musical release. Only reference merely quotes the artist. No evidence of charting

While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion.
