Request reason:
I would like to apologize for my actions and disruptive behavior on the Wikipedia website. I take full responsibility for my actions and pledge that I would not do said actions on the website ever again. As I don’t think I sould be banned from editing indefinitely, I do believe in a 24-168 hour period without editing, however this decision is only made by you and the rest of the moderators and admin on Wikipedia. Again, I want to promise that I will only my editing privileges for edits that are constructive to the website, not destructive. Thank you your understanding and your time. Hello there! Can you tell me exactly what you did was wrong and why it violated Wikipedia's policies? Significa liberdade (she/her) (talk) 17:27, 15 December 2024 (UTC)
- Yes, I had vandalized pages regarding 2 of Sean J. Combs’ entities, that being “Revolt” and “Bad Boy Records”. Sean Combs, famously known as Diddy, has been a very controversial person due to the allegations against him. Because of these allegations, I had decided to vandalize the 2 previously mentioned pages. These actions were against Wikipedia’s policies regarding vandalism and for that I would like to apologize and take full responsibility for my actions. I promise to only edit Wikipedia pages only if they benefit Wikipedia and its users and if they are good faith to better help Wikipedia. KendrickIsGOD (talk) 17:46, 15 December 2024 (UTC)
- Can you give an example of a constructive edit you would make? 331dot (talk) 18:49, 15 December 2024 (UTC)
- A constructive edit that I would make is correcting grammar and spelling on pages I come across of newer pages created. Another example would be to add important events and contexts that had happened to the pages of people or places on Wikipedia. Another constructive edit would to be adding more information to stubs and drafts for pages that not as developed as the standards of Wikipedia or to remove vandalism created by other users. KendrickIsGOD (talk) 20:30, 15 December 2024 (UTC)
- Those are only generic types of constructive edits that people make, not an example. Can you suggest a specific constructive edit, ideally something that shows you understand how sourcing works here, that you would make right now if you could, that could be immediately put into an article and improve it?
