A Cupcake For You!

[edit]
Baseball Watcher has given you a cupcake! Cupcakes promote WikiLove and hopefully this one has made your day better. Spread the WikiLove by giving someone else a cupcake, whether it be someone you have had disagreements with in the past or a good friend. Thanks for the message on my talk page.

Thank you for uploading File:Rebeccablack.jpg. However, it currently is missing information on its copyright and licensing status. Wikipedia takes copyright very seriously. It may be deleted soon, unless we can verify that it has an acceptable license status and a verifiable source. Please add this information by editing the image description page. You may refer to the image use policy to learn what files you can or cannot upload on Wikipedia. The page on copyright tags may help you to find the correct tag to use for your file. If the file is already gone, you can still make a request for undeletion and ask for a chance to fix the problem.

Please also check any other files you may have uploaded to make sure they are correctly tagged. Here is a list of your uploads.

If you have any questions, please feel free to ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thanks again for your cooperation. feydey (talk) 23:37, 19 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Sorry, but I thought I had made it clear on the general form that the photo was from Bing Images. But you can delete it I guess.

Suggestions

Please Read The Following Before Editing City Articles

[edit]
  1. Please follow the Wikipedia USCITY guideline for layout and content.
  2. Please document your source by citing a reference to prove your text is verifiable.
  3. Please read the "Editing, Creating, and Maintaining Articles" chapter from the book Wikipedia : The Missing Manual, ISBN 9780596515164.

OK, I've read the following.

Welcome to Wikipedia! I am glad to see you are interested in discussing a topic. However, as a general rule, talk pages such as Talk:Chris Brochu are for discussion related to improving the article, not general discussion about the topic. If you have specific questions about certain topics, consider visiting our reference desk and asking them there instead of on article talk pages. Thank you. 117Avenue (talk) 03:50, 31 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Please read Help:Using talk pages. All talk pages and responses are formatted the same way so that everyone knows how to use them. This sectioning you are using is weird. 117Avenue (talk) 03:24, 4 August 2011 (UTC)[reply]

I WAS talking about the page, and that's how I usually create a talk page. I'm just trying to help articles that don't have talk pages. Kansas212 (talk) 21:55, 10 September 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Well, too bad because this is how I'm keeping this one. Kansas212 (talk) 21:55, 10 September 2011 (UTC)[reply]

If you continue this, you will be reverted, and eventually blocked. 117Avenue (talk) 06:15, 11 September 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Barnstars

[edit]
Barnstars are NOT meant to be handed out like candy at Halloween. • SbmeirowTalk02:54, 1 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Response

[edit]

Well, I'm sorry but you should mind you're own business. Every user has a right to give a barnstar. And you should really tell Mike Restivo (talk), not me. Kansas212 (talk) 13:34, 31 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]

  1. Do not remove a [citation needed] unless you have supplied a reference in its place. You removed all from this article and supplied zero references after each paragraph.
  2. Please document your source by citing a reference to prove your text is verifiable.
  3. Please read the "Editing, Creating, and Maintaining Articles" chapter from the book Wikipedia : The Missing Manual, ISBN 9780596515164.
SbmeirowTalk23:29, 10 September 2011 (UTC)[reply]
If an author edits incorrectly, then ANY OTHER author has every right to say something to the person that is making the mistake. It is especially true if someone is removing "citation needed". By the way, you can't use ONE reference to cover an entire article. • SbmeirowTalk01:29, 11 September 2011 (UTC)[reply]
I overhauled the article so you can see what is required to properly reference an article. I left some citation requests that still need to be fixed. Adding good references are a pain, but it is what wikipedia requires. You need add references, otherwise people will hound you about them being missing! • SbmeirowTalk03:30, 11 September 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Response

[edit]

Please stop bugging me, and I've already provided my source. So please go away.

Well if you actually think about it, hundreds of articles have no citations at all. Also, if you need a citation so bad, why don't you find one? That's what users are supposed to do: contribute. Do some research of your own.

Hi! It seems you recently created an unreferenced biography of a living person: Barb Rankin. The community has decided that all new biographies of living persons must contain a reliable source that supports at least one statement made about the person in the article as per our verifiability policy. Please add references as soon as possible. Thanks! --LaraBot (talk) 00:11, 18 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Barb Rankin requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a person or group of people, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, contest the deletion by clicking on the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion". Doing so will take you to the talk page where you will find a pre-formatted place for you to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. You can also visit the page's talk page directly to give your reasons, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, you can contact one of these administrators to request that the administrator userfy the page or email a copy to you. CharlieDelta (talk) 19:02, 19 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
