Hello, I'm Jim1138. I noticed that you made a change to an article, Belgaum district, but you didn't provide a source. I’ve removed it for now, but if you’d like to include a citation to a reliable source and re-add it, please do so! If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks. Jim1138 (talk) 07:42, 1 May 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Wikipedia uses wp:common names. Names often are spelled differently in different areas and for different groups. If you think the name should be changed, please open a wp:rfc on talk:Belgaum district. Include sources that demonstrate that Belagavi is more common than Belgaum district. Remember, this is the English Wikipedia, so only names commonly in use in the English language would be considered. For instance, there are many more people who use Italia than Italy, but English speakers use Italy most commonly. So, Wikipedia uses Italy and not Italia. Thank you Jim1138 (talk) 07:49, 1 May 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Please do not add or significantly change content without citing verifiable and reliable sources, as you did with this edit to Belgaum district. Before making any potentially controversial edits, it is recommended that you discuss them first on the article's talk page. Please review the guidelines at Wikipedia:Citing sources and take this opportunity to add references to the article. Jim1138 (talk) 08:50, 1 May 2016 (UTC)[reply]
