Speedy deletion nomination of Ross Kiely
[edit]If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.
You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.
A tag has been placed on Ross Kiely requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a person or group of people, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable.
If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hang on}}
to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion, or "db", tag; if no such tag exists, then the page is no longer a speedy delete candidate and adding a hang-on tag is unnecessary), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, you can contact one of these administrators to request that the administrator userfy the page or email a copy to you. My76Strat 01:36, 14 January 2011 (UTC)
Please discuss such a massive change to a Featured List on the article talk page first. There have been three editors that have reverted the change, so there is no current consensus for the change. You may propose the idea on the talk page first and if you get a consensus for the change, it can be changed. Thank you. -- Gogo Dodo (talk)

[edit]Please do not add commentary or your own personal analysis to Wikipedia articles, as you did to Justice Crew. Doing so violates Wikipedia's neutral point of view policy and breaches the formal tone expected in an encyclopedia. Thank you. Dl2000 (talk) 03:59, 4 May 2011 (UTC)
Survivor 2011
[edit]Please come and give your input on the Survivor South Pacific discussion page, as I am imploring we keep 'voted out' next to '1st, Day 3' for clarity for other users. Kiwi Jaden — Preceding unsigned comment added by 202.180.115.83 (talk) 09:44, 21 September 2011 (UTC)
Re: Any help would be greatly appreciated!
[edit]Re your message: Hmmm, secondary key sorting does seem to be broken, but only with your massive table. For example, if you click Age then Name, Amanda and Amber is sorted correctly, but Ami is not. I tried building a small test case with just those three like below and the sorting does work as expected:
Name | Age | State | Season | Original Tribe | First Tribe Change | Second Tribe Change | Merged Tribe | Finish | Total days |
---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
Amber Brkich | 22 | Pennsylvania | The Australian Outback | Ogakor | Barramundi | 6th | 33 | ||
Amber Brkich | 25 | Pennsylvania | All-Stars | Chapera | Chapera | Chapera | Chaboga Mogo | Winner | 72 |
Ami Cusack | 31 | Colorado | Vanuatu | Yasur | Yasur | Alinta | 6th | 33 | |
Amanda Kimmel | 23 | Montana | China | Fei Long | Fei Long | Hae Da Fung | 2nd Runner-up | 39 | |
Amanda Kimmel | 23 | California | Micronesia | Malakal | Malakal | Dabu | Runner-up | 78 | |
Ami Cusack | 34 | Colorado | Micronesia | Malakal | Malakal | 11th | 54 |
The MediaWiki 1.18 upgrade did break quite a few things. I recommend that you bring up the secondary sort key issue at WP:VPT#1.18 issues. Point them to your page, tell people what to click (Age then Name) and then to the rows that are the problem. The editors at VPT are better suited to figuring out what is messing up the sorting code. -- Gogo Dodo (talk) 05:20, 7 October 2011 (UTC)
- I see that TheDJ answered your question about the sorting. I'm glad that the mystery was solved. -- Gogo Dodo (talk) 05:08, 10 October 2011 (UTC)

- Hello Kangaross1989, per the discussion at Wikipedia:Miscellany for deletion/User:Kangaross1989, your userpage content has been removed. I can tell you put a lot of work in to it, and some of the editing skills you learned may be helpful around the encyclopedia! You can view the last copy of your page by visiting this link: [1], and/or by using the History tab at the top of the screen. While content restrictions on pages in the User: namespace is much more relaxed then the article space, Wikipedia can not provide space to anyone for any reason. Please take a moment to go over the userpage guidelines here (WP:USERPAGE) before recreating your page. Thank you, — xaosflux Talk 01:38, 23 April 2014 (UTC)
