Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. This is a notice to inform you that a tag has been placed on পড়শী requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A1 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is a very short article providing little or no context to the reader. Please see Wikipedia:Stub for our minimum information standards for short articles. Also please note that articles must be on notable subjects and should provide references to reliable sources that verify their content.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, you can place a request here. 220 of Borg 11:36, 18 November 2013 (UTC)[reply]

A tag has been placed on পড়শী requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a band or musician, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please read more about what is generally accepted as notable.

December 2013

Information icon Welcome to Wikipedia. It might not have been your intention, but your recent edit removed maintenance templates from Sabrina Porshi. When removing maintenance templates, please be sure to either resolve the problem that the template refers to, or give a valid reason for the removal in the edit summary. If this was a mistake, don't worry, as your removal of this template has been reverted. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia, and if you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. Thank you. Thank you for your work in creating the article Sabrina Porshi - Wikipedia relies on editors like you to expand the encyclopedia and generate new content. However, please note that creating the article does not mean that you can control its content - other editors can and will change the text to try and bring it closer to Wikipedia's guidelines. Please don't repeatedly revert the article back to your preferred version. Doing so is considered to be edit-warring, and can result in your account being blocked from editing.
If other users disagree with your edits, as seems to be the case here, the correct course of action is to talk to them. Use the article's talkpage to discuss your proposed changes, and try to reach some sort of consensus with the other editors involved.
Once again, please avoid edit-warring - continuing this sort of behaviour will lead to a block. Yunshui  12:00, 18 December 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Edit warring on Sabrina Porshi

[edit]

Information icon Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. You appear to be engaged in an edit war with one or more editors according to your reverts at Sabrina Porshi. Although repeatedly reverting or undoing another editor's contributions may seem necessary to protect your preferred version of a page, on Wikipedia this is usually seen as obstructing the normal editing process, and often creates animosity between editors. Instead of edit warring, please discuss the situation with the editor(s) involved and try to reach a consensus on the talk page.

If editors continue to revert to their preferred version they are likely to be blocked from editing. This isn't done to punish an editor, but to prevent the disruption caused by edit warring. In particular, editors should be aware of the three-revert rule, which says that an editor must not perform more than three reverts on a single page within a 24-hour period. While edit warring on Wikipedia is not acceptable in any amount, breaking the three-revert rule is very likely to lead to a block. Thank you. Callanecc (talkcontribslogs) 13:22, 18 December 2013 (UTC)[reply]

You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war. Users are expected to collaborate with others, to avoid editing disruptively, and to try to reach a consensus rather than repeatedly undoing other users' edits once it is known that there is a disagreement.

Please be particularly aware, Wikipedia's policy on edit warring states:

  1. Edit warring is disruptive regardless of how many reverts you have made; that is to say, editors are not automatically "entitled" to three reverts.
  2. Do not edit war even if you believe you are right.

If you find yourself in an editing dispute, use the article's talk page to discuss controversial changes; work towards a version that represents consensus among editors. You can post a request for help at an appropriate noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases it may be appropriate to request temporary page protection. If you engage in an edit war, you may be blocked from editing. Onorem (talk) 01:50, 19 December 2013 (UTC)[reply]

You seriously need to start discussing your edits if you don't want to find yourself blocked. I don't know or care who's edits are right, but you can't just continue warring over the content even if you do it slowly enough to not technically break 3RR.--Onorem (talk) 16:12, 28 December 2013 (UTC)[reply]
