Sir Thomas Lauder Brunton did not convert to Islam. His son Sir James Stopford Lauder Brunton did convert to Islam. If you need references please note it and I will provide them. I have contacted at least one author you cite, and he told me that it was Stopford who converted NOT Thomas. Please let me know how your error can be corrected.
