The article Starfish Education has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
No indication of importance or notability. Not eligible for WP:CSD#A7 due to being a school or educational institution.
While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}}
notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.
Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}}
will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Bungle (talk • contribs) 15:25, 6 August 2022 (UTC)

Starfish Education moved to draftspace
[edit]An article you recently created, Starfish Education, is not suitable as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:
" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. An interesting project that seems to be far enough along in construction that it is no longer a crystal ball. When writing articles, remember to keep a neutral point of view, and consolidate duplicate references for concision.

Arrangements
[edit]Hi, it is regarding this. Names are generally arranged by last name in most articles in Wikipedia. Any reason to change that? - Fylindfotberserk (talk) 12:28, 24 November 2024 (UTC)
- Mizo names usually lack last names and the last names there are clan names, thus it would be confusing to order it with last names as only few add their clan name in their official names. Jokomarel (talk) 13:22, 7 December 2024 (UTC)
Chieftainship articles in draft space
[edit]Hey Jokomarel, We tend to work on Mizo history and I've started several draft articles on Mizo chiefs to compile information on the subject. Draft:Banaitangi Draft:Howsatta Draft:Khalkam Draft:Lalbura Draft:Murchuilal Draft:Vonolel
I have also made a new article Lalchukla whose info box and details if you want to edit can do. While my sources can cover the British history of the chiefs as recorded, where they ruled is something I do not know. Thanks for putting Sukpilal as Chief of Reiek.
These chiefs are also the most easiest ones to gather information on for now. Maybe an article of a list of Mizo chiefs can be made alphabetically sorted in the future for minor ones. But if you're keen I'd love your input on these! No pressure if you don't wish to as well.

- Would love to contribute. Thanks! Jokomarel (talk) 13:23, 7 December 2024 (UTC)
- It would be good to name them with their Mizo names. The names right now are the spellings of the British's attempt to pronounce their names. Jokomarel (talk) 13:24, 7 December 2024 (UTC)
- I think we need to establish a Mizo naming rule to standardise it. Because I tend to remove the suffixes "a" and "I" that denote their gender. I also think most people encounter the chiefs by the British spelt names due to the British records being easier to access. I do think Mizo spelling should be important but it can impact access to search bars etc if the spelling is too complex. Plus spelling is not standardized, they have multiple names and variations across the same documentation even. I think Mizo spelling, naming and language conventions should be configured in Wikipedia soon. I don't want to use colonized names but it feels convenient for now until a better solution be proposed.
- Apart from that thanks for agreeing to help! Mmis325 (talk) 23:31, 7 December 2024 (UTC)
- Also in my sources some chiefs don't have their Mizo spelt names, so forgive me if I can't list their proper names. I'll incorporate it over the British versions from now on. Mmis325 (talk) 23:33, 7 December 2024 (UTC)
