Image tagging for Image:Korn Follow the Leader.jpg

[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:Korn Follow the Leader.jpg. The image has been identified as not specifying the source and creator of the image, which is required by Wikipedia's policy on images. If you don't indicate the source and creator of the image on the image's description page, it may be deleted some time in the next seven days. If you have uploaded other images, please verify that you have provided source information for them as well.

For more information on using images, see the following pages:

Orphaned non-free image (Image:Æolain.jpg)

[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:Æolain.jpg. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. BetacommandBot 22:03, 10 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

New Articles

[edit]

Hi, I saw that you recently have made several articles about airports. It would be really helpful if you could follow the structure provided in a WikiProject: WP:AIRPORTS. Even if you do not feel like going all out right away, please at least add Stub templates to your articles, as it will help other people in finding and contributing to this rather blank articles. If you have any questions, feel free to ask my on my talk page. --Pilotboi | talk 19:42, 18 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

A tag has been placed on North Of Superior, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is a redirect from an implausible typo. The Wikimedia servers automatically compensate for capitalization issues. Also please note that articles must be on notable subjects and should provide references to reliable sources that verify their content.

Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself. If you plan to expand the article, you can request that administrators wait a while for you to add contextual material. To do this, affix the template {{hangon}} to the page and state your intention on the article's talk page. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. ~~ tonei the genderqueer alaskan 19:13, 22 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

A tag has been placed on North of Superior, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is a very short article providing little or no context to the reader. Please see Wikipedia:Stub for our minimum information standards for short articles. Also please note that articles must be on notable subjects and should provide references to reliable sources that verify their content.

New Articles (again)

[edit]

Thanks for contributing to Wikipedia! But it would be really helpful if you could read over WP:Stub, especially the Categorizing stubs section. Also refer to WP:Categorization or Help:Category for information about categories. It's great if you create new articles, but unless these articles are categorized, stubbed, or somehow connected to the rest of Wikipedia, they will mostly likely never be seen by anyone else. If you have any questions that can't be answered on the pages I provided, please feel free to ask on my talk page. Thanks. --Pilotboi / talk / contribs 01:53, 2 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. Regarding your edit(s) to Interstate 405 (California), it is recommended that you use the preview button before you save; this helps you find any errors you have made, and prevents clogging up recent changes and the page history. Thank you. --Pilotboi / talk / contribs 04:03, 1 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Fair use rationale for Image:Aeolian.jpg

[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:Aeolian.jpg. You've indicated that the image meets Wikipedia's criteria for non-free content, but there is no explanation of why it meets those criteria. Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. If you have any questions, please post them at Wikipedia:Media copyright questions.

Thank you for your cooperation. NOTE: once you correct this, please remove the tag from the image's page. STBotI (talk) 16:10, 19 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

A tag has been placed on Hannagan Meadow, Arizona requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G12 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be a clear copyright infringement. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted. You may use external websites as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. This part is crucial: say it in your own words.

If the external website belongs to you, and you want to allow Wikipedia to use the text — which means allowing other people to modify it — then you must verify that externally by one of the processes explained at Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials. If you are not the owner of the external website but have permission from that owner, see Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission. You might want to look at Wikipedia's policies and guidelines for more details, or ask a question here.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag - if no such tag exists then the page is no longer a speedy delete candidate and adding a hangon tag is unnecessary), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. The article Chassis studs has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Possible hoax. The body on a BOF car is held on via body mounts, the term "chassis stud" does not seem to be used in this manner anywhere else.

While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. The speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. --Sable232 (talk) 02:17, 5 December 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
