[edit]Hello, I'm AgisdeSparte. I wanted to let you know that I reverted one of your recent contributions—specifically this edit to Howard J. Morgan—because it did not appear constructive. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. If you have any questions, you can ask for assistance at the Teahouse or the Help desk. Thanks. AgisdeSparte (talk) 10:14, 25 June 2024 (UTC)
- Hi
- I want to add a page for Michael Haynes, and the "photograph" is actually the commissioned portrait of Michael. Hence I'd link back to Howard Morgan.
- If needbe I can link it after the page is up.
- To be honest I'm struggling to see how to add a page for Michael Haynes. Sandbox seems to have my name as a title, so isn't apparently helpful...is there a "howto" page somewhere?

- I don't think what I've put in (Michael Haynes) is really declined (yet)...It needed references fleshing out - it had none initially and was correctly rejected.
- But I'm assuming that it can be extended. There are pictures of artworks that can be added in but I'd want the page live first.
- Hopefully I'm later in the "learning process" now and that initial references are OK Jmawilliams (talk) 13:42, 25 June 2024 (UTC)
- @Jmawilliams: Creating an article from scratch is one of the most difficult things you can do on Wikipedia. HELP:Your first article, and HELP:Referencing for beginners can provide some guidance. I also encourage you to make use of the Teahouse to answer your editing questions. You may want to try editing existing articles to get a better feel for referencing, editing and generally get more comfortable in contributing to Wikipedia. Cheers. -- Whpq (talk) 13:48, 25 June 2024 (UTC)
