Moving my contribution to the "main" Wikipedia page

I have created a page for an artist friend of mine. He has given me images to publish in my article. I have referenced all the text & noted external sources. I now wish to move the page from "contributions" to the "main" Wikipedia page. How do I do that? JeffersonWSoiwittaya (talk) 11:37, 10 June 2013 (UTC)
- My suggestion would be to submit it to the WP:AfC project, to work out any final kinks before it "goes live". To do that, add
{{subst:submit}}
to the top of the article, above all of the text :) Charmlet (talk) 12:47, 10 June 2013 (UTC)

Sionk (talk) 12:36, 13 July 2013 (UTC)- Yes, well spotted (as per your message on my Talk page), I've removed the meaningless stub of a sentence. I removed the long quote from the Messums art gallery because it clearly was not from a neutral source - Messums have a vested interest in promoting Key.
- Looking at the independent news articles you have listed (and the ones reproduced on Messums website) I'm sure you will be able to find an independent critique of Key's work, if you need to add one. Wikipedia articles need to remain fairly neutral and non-promotional.
- All the same, not a bad effort of an article if this is one of your first efforts. The BBC Your Paintings feature certainly proves Key is a noteworthy, collectable artist. Sionk (talk) 17:41, 18 July 2013 (UTC)
Geoffrey Key
[edit]Dear Sionk - Sorry to be a pest. I did drop you a couple of messages last week just so I could maybe draw a line under this from my perspective. I can add no more at this point, so do I just leave it for others to contribute? What are your recommendations regards this article now? Please, a brief reply would be really appreciated.
