[edit]Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, your addition of one or more external links to the page The Early November has been reverted.
Your edit here was reverted by an automated bot that attempts to remove unwanted links and spam from Wikipedia. The external link you added or changed is on my list of links to remove and probably shouldn't be included in Wikipedia. The external links I reverted were matching the following regex rule(s): \bmyspace\.com (links: http://www.myspace.com/yoursweetuncertainty).
If you were trying to insert an external link that does comply with our policies and guidelines, then please accept my creator's apologies and feel free to undo the bot's revert. However, if the link does not comply with our policies and guidelines, but your edit included other changes to the article, feel free to make those changes again without re-adding the link. Please read Wikipedia's external links guideline for more information, and consult my list of frequently-reverted sites. For more information about me, see my FAQ page. [edit]Hello, I'm CatTits10. I noticed that you added or changed content in an article, The Early November, but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so. You can have a look at referencing for beginners. If you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. CatTits10 (talk) 19:35, 13 September 2024 (UTC)
- The information (Band History) that I added was recently removed. I'm not sure how it happened, but it looks like someone accidentally hit delete somewhere under History and saved it. The history is cut in half.
- The History information I re-added has been on Wikipedia for decades. I can also confirm that it is true, because I am a founding member of the band. Jeff Kummer (talk) 20:39, 13 September 2024 (UTC)
- That would be me who removed the information from the history, and I assure you it was no accident. The information was unsourced. On Wikipedia, all information on biographies must be cited with reliable sources. Claiming to be a founding member of the band confirms nothing. Please bring reliable sources before reintroducing the information to the page. And if you are indeed the subject of this article, please read WP:COI. Thank you. CatTits10 (talk) 20:48, 13 September 2024 (UTC)
- Wow. Okay. I didn’t put it there to begin with so that info has been up for decades unsourced but whatever you say Cat Tits. It’s your world I’m just living in it. Jeff Kummer (talk) 20:56, 13 September 2024 (UTC)
- No hard feelings. I'm fine with the information getting re-introduced to the article so long as its properly sourced and is tonally consistent with Wikipedia's manual of style. CatTits10 (talk) 21:01, 13 September 2024 (UTC)
- I can find sources and do it at a later date. However, I find it odd that the band’s history has been tampered with now, in 2024 after existing on Wikipedia since the site was founded. Jeff Kummer (talk) 21:08, 13 September 2024 (UTC)
- Nobody does their job around here. I took it upon myself to "clean house" on all pop punk, emo, metalcore, deathcore, hardcore punk, death metal, black metal, alternative rock, nu metal, post-grunge and alternative metal bands. Over the past month, I have singe-handedly removed millions of bytes of unsourced information from band and musician biographies all around this project. This is only the beginning, this is only phase one. I am going to build this encyclopedia back stronger than it ever was. I'll try to find some sources on your history in the meantime. I'll rebuild what I can. CatTits10 (talk) 21:18, 13 September 2024 (UTC)
- On the flipside of that, you may be deleting history that is no longer as easy to find sourcing for. These artists put too much time and energy into their art for someone to purge it all with the click of a button. For many, Wikipedia is the “source.” Sounds like the rules just became important 20 years too late. Jeff Kummer (talk) 21:27, 13 September 2024 (UTC)
- I'm not "purging your art" though lol, I'm purging unsourced information from the page. The burden is on the person introducing the content to back up what they are saying. We're here to maintain the integrity and quality of an encyclopedia, not a "monument" of sorts for the achievements of a notable music act. Also, for legal reasons we cannot have unsourced information in the biographies of living people. These are all articles that have been neglected by active editors familiar with the site's policies for decades to be honest. CatTits10 (talk) 21:43, 13 September 2024 (UTC)
- Everything you’re saying is true. I just find it funny that this is deemed important now, 20 years later with a kid named Cat Tits leading the charge. Jeff Kummer (talk) 21:54, 13 September 2024 (UTC)
- I guess it is pretty funny when you think about it. Hahahaha. On a related note, I just realized that one of the sections I removed from the article was blatantly plageruized from this Vogue article and needed to be rewritten anyway. Cheers! CatTits10 (talk) 22:00, 13 September 2024 (UTC)

Oh no
[edit]I tried creating the article for your new album but they moved it back into draft space lmao. I hope you like the new version of the band biography too. Cool meeting you! CatTits10 (talk) 09:38, 15 September 2024 (UTC)
