Why is it then, that when I'm reading about these games all the information is filled with links to other sites quoting their interviews but I can't add videos that are content specific to what the section is about? It's simple. Firstly, read through this (in particular this), and then this, and then this.
One of the main things mentioned there is that you should not go round just adding external links to articles all over the place, as that is spam. Wikipedia is not a mere directory of external links, I believe the wording is.
Let's look at the links in the Crackdown article, as that is where I originally noticed your edit. You will notice, by the way, that it wasn't me that removed your spam links from that article. It was User:VerasGunn. If you look through the article, there are no external links in the body of the article itself. This was immediately at odds with your edits, which added external links in the body of the article, and even the words that were used as links were not encyclopedic. Now, if we excuse the fact that yours were the only things used as external links, and pretend that they were used as citations, we should compare with the other citations in the article. They are, as follows:
The Bungie Studios official website. (Alexa rank: 5,884)
Gamespot.com. (Alexa rank: 160)
Xbox.com. (Alexa rank: 674)
IGN.com. (Alexa rank: 181)
Majornelson.com. (Alexa rank: 18,531)
Xbox360fanboy.com. (Alexa rank: 17,767)
TeamXbox.com. (Alexa rank: 2,775)
Now, let's pretend your site was added as a citation (rather than three times throughout the article as external links):
gamevideos.com (Alexa rank: 18,502)
It comes up marginally higher than Major Nelson's page, but Major Nelson is seen as an "insider source", as I'm sure you're aware.
Basically, the best suggestion is, add your links to an article's talk page, explaining why you think they would add to the article. Then someone else may add them. :)
