Re: Rose Tyler
[edit]- I would recommend doing the same as what I did with Time Lord - after every episode title put an in-line citation to that episodes article on Wikipedia. To see how to do this, and what fields you should put in, look at some of the source for Time Lord. Do the same with the books.
- I would also lose that first bit of trivia in the Trivia section - it's a bit irrelevant.
- The image for Rose needs a fair-use rationale. (Image:Rosetyler2.jpg)
- Some recent contributions need to be copy edited in the Trivia section.
- Change from "Notes" to "References" - including the <div class="small"> bit.
Other from that, its consistent with the other criteria. It's stable, it's relatively broad in its coverage, it complies with the manual of style (read: doesn't look wrong), and its neutral. Just fix those references and that image and you'll be fine. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Smomo (talk • contribs) 22:44, 22 April 2007 (UTC).
Thats what had to happen at Time Lord. Go ahead and try it without and see what people say. Smomo 23:45, 22 April 2007 (UTC)
Hi, it is good to see some new blood in the Simpsons Wikiproject. I noticed that you have being doing some copyediting and would like to ask you to take a stab at the main article The Simpsons. It is currently under Featured Article Review in which some editors says it contains poor prose. Any assistance would be valued. --Maitch 19:51, 5 May 2007 (UTC)
- Thanks for your help. I think the second half needs even more attention. --Maitch 15:27, 6 May 2007 (UTC)
- Btw it is good to know we have a decent copyeditor involved in the project. It is a problem that often arises, when we try to promote the articles. --Maitch 15:33, 6 May 2007 (UTC)
Request
[edit]Hey, if you get a spare moment from copy-editing The Simpsons, could you give David Mitchell (actor) a copy-edit? I'm trying to get it GA, and would prefer if the prose was brilliant, and your good at doing that. Thanks. Gran2 15:54, 13 May 2007 (UTC)
- Thanks, as said, there are no time constraints for the article, so anytime at all really! Gran2 16:09, 13 May 2007 (UTC)
- Your back! Mitchell's page got GA a while back, but there are more urgent copy edits afoot. Someone nominated You Only Move Twice for FA, without our knowledge. I think the main problem now is the prose, so if you could, could you take a look? Thanks. Gran2 17:54, 18 July 2007 (UTC)

The Simpsons Star
[edit]With the Simpsons WikiProject having reached it's goal of getting every single article about a season 1-9 episode, 203 in total, of The Simpsons to GA status. With that accomplished, I am trying to thank every member (and non-member) who was involved in the effort in some way.

WP:DOH has reached its long-time goal of getting every classic era episode, 203 in total, to GA. You earned this because you helped us out at the beginning, with copyediting and other similar contributions. -- Scorpion0422 II (Talk) 23:55, 19 April 2010 (UTC) |
