Halik edits
[edit]Hi this is Pipamidalton again. You said edits need to be accurate and I agree so as you suggested I reviewed episodes Dec 31, Jan 1 and 2 and find that there is no certainty that the DNA test results stating that Ace is not the father of the child Jade is carrying. As a matter of fact, the story line seems to suggest the contrary: Helen paid someone to give her a faked results report so that Jade would fe out of her son’s life permanently.
December 31 episode shows the doctor or specialist who conducted the test was a friend of Helen; she admitted that normally the results take a few weeks but in this case it would only be a few days; at the lobby after the test, Helen excused herself to go to give the doctor something she claims she forgot;
January 1 episode shows (at 03:00) Helen assuring Jade not to worry about the results and told her not to hurry; at 10:44 Helen is handing a man a thick envelope of cash in exchange for the white thin envelope that was the DNA results; at 12:45 Helen hands the same envelope to Jade and slugs her even before Jade read it; the most significant is the camera shows the results were signed by Camilla Cervantes.
January 2 episode at 06:47, Barry makes a comment that the tests may have been authentic but the results may have been tampered with; at 07:11 the clinic personnel (has to be the same clinic the original test was made for them to have the authority to verify it’s authenticity) confirms the results are authentic; at 14:04 Lino and Jade are in a clinic consulting with an OB GYN discussing the possibility that she was pregnant 3 months ago. Later Lino tells Barry and Jacky that he had himself DNA tested with Jade to make sure; at 25:38 the DNA test results come back to Lino confirming that he matched the infant’s but most significant of all is the test was signed by “Camilla Cervantes” too. Contrary to your claim that it was done in a different clinic, it’s the same person signing off the results.
Another thing to note is Lino got the results as quickly as Ace and he didn’t have to pay anything. Which says Helen paid the clinic not for expedited results but for faked results.
I won’t revert the edit for sake of peace and not to start an edit war, besides your statement is also conjecture because nothing really has been verified about the exchange of hands in the parking lot between Helen and the man.
If you wish to discuss feel free to drop me a line in my Talk section or in this.Pipamidalton (talk) 00:26, 16 January 2019 (UTC)
Response to your message
[edit]Hi this is Pipamidalton again. No problem at all and I truly appreciate your efforts. When you edit before you save, enter your comments in the edit summary. Happy to have you onboard. It took me a while too to navigate this Wikipedia editing but you’ll find the community and its resources very helpful. Check your Talk section of your profile page. I left a message for you. I reviewed three episodes that deal with the DNA test and believe that it was indeed faked. But for the sake of peace and avoid edit warring, I won’t change your edits and let’s just edit what happens. Happy editing!Pipamidalton (talk) 00:34, 16 January 2019 (UTC)
Thanks for the message because I was thinking how can you be so sure she faked it? How will she faked the results lf lino’s dna results from the clinic that lino went to? So your saying she to me she went to the clinic that lino went to? How will she know that lino will get a paternity test? Camila Cervantes is just a project Manager dna forensics. She doesn’t do the actual test. She handles clients, companies or maybe she is partnership with the clinic that lino went to. There is another doctor who just specializes for dna forensics. So you can’t be sure that she faked it because we don’t know what is behind there on helen’s hidden agenda on the results. When she went back to the doctor claiming she forgot to give something, how do you know if she paid the doctor, we don’t have evidence the she paid the doctor. We can’t judge right away. I can say that because it is what their showing that she paid a man to get the results quicker because jade asked for it. Or maybe she paid the doctor that your talking about to get the results quicker, because she couldn’t wait. We will wait and see.. Thanks
