Watching for changes

Clicking the "Recent changes" link in the interaction menu on every page will give you a list of all edits in the last few minutes. If you just want to watch for changes to articles you have edited, use your Watchlist. You can add articles to your Watchlist by clicking "Watch this page" tab (starred) at the top of any article (the talk page will be auto-watched, too). You can click "Related changes" in the toolbox menu on any page to see changes made to the pages linked from the one you are viewing. And finally, you can click the "My contributions" link to view a log of your edits; if yours is no longer the edit marked with "top", then someone else has edited the page.

Odell Beckham

[edit]

Stop adding the number 3 to Odell Beckham's page. Any number addition is a violation of WP:OR as no source exists providing a number except for maybe a couple clearly photoshopped images floating around social media. This is literally no different than the signing itself. Wait.--Rockchalk717 05:47, 12 November 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Madden 22 also confirmed it but I’m not sure so yeah Jack odo7 (talk) 09:46, 12 November 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Madden has messed up numbers on more than one occasion so it's hardly a reliable source. I can think of one example from Madden 22 that I noticed after I played it after I bought it. Orlando Brown Jr., tackle for the Chiefs, had his number as 78 when the game first came out despite 78 being retired in honor of Bobby Bell and him practicing in 57.--Rockchalk717 16:22, 12 November 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Yeah true Jack odo7 (talk) 21:14, 12 November 2021 (UTC)[reply]

They confirmed is number is 3 Jack odo7 (talk) 01:29, 14 November 2021 (UTC)[reply]

March 2022

[edit]

Information icon Please do not add or change content, as you did at Cedrick Wilson Jr., without citing a reliable source. Please review the guidelines at Wikipedia:Citing sources and take this opportunity to add references to the article. Swagging (talk) 21:00, 14 March 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Ok Jack odo7 (talk) 07:48, 15 March 2022 (UTC)[reply]

June 2022

[edit]

Information icon Hello, I'm Hey man im josh. I noticed that you added or changed content in an article, Albert Wilson (American football), but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so. You can have a look at referencing for beginners. If you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. Hey man im josh (talk) 01:56, 1 June 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Preseason Jersey Number Rules

[edit]

You have edited a lot of jersey numbers, and sometimes those edits aren’t as great as it should be. So let me explain these preseason jersey number rules. For example: If an offensive player is wearing #5 in the preseason, then a defensive player is allowed to wear #5 during the preseason. However, if 2 players have the same number, and if they’re both on offense (or defense), then they can’t have the same number. The edits you are making are for regular season jersey number rules, but we’re in the preseason. And if you’re reading this, then thank you. ReaganHoang10 (talk) 18:09, 5 August 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Roquan Smith

[edit]

Wikipedia policy requires that on sports transactions, especially trades, that one of the teams involved confirms the trade. We do not update articles based on anonymous sources. When news likes this breaks, it's usually only when the trade has been agreed to. When the teams make an announcement, the trade usually has been officially completed and that is why we wait. Please do not update the article (or any sports article going forward) until an announcement is made. An example of this is a tweet like this or an article on a team website like this. That ESPN article you mentioned in your edit summary does not constitute an official announcement. --Rockchalk717 05:43, 1 November 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Hey sorry are you talking about the jersey number or the actual trade cause the ravens did announce it awhile ago Jack odo7 (talk) 18:22, 1 November 2022 (UTC)[reply]

I was talking about the trade. When I initially posted this, the trade had not been announced yet. I posted this at about 10:30 pm Pacific/Arizona time on October 31 and the trade was announced at 11:00 am November 1. But the point remains. Wait until the team(s) announce a transaction going forward.--Rockchalk717 14:55, 2 November 2022 (UTC)[reply]

No problem cheers man Jack odo7 (talk) 03:30, 3 November 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Melvin Gordon

[edit]

You've been advised multiple times, including by me personally to not update articles based on NFL insider reporting. Melvin Gordon joining the Chiefs has not been announced by the Chiefs and has not appeared on the transaction wire. You need to stop doing that.--Rockchalk717 21:23, 28 November 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Ok bud I fixed it chill Jack odo7 (talk) 21:26, 28 November 2022 (UTC)[reply]
