For example if I use a certain source for most or all of the boxes in a certain row, should I cite each fact, or just once next to box one, or next to box one and any fact 'that is likely to be challenged'. Sorry about my poor explaining skills basically like what one of [edits] is cited better. Meh, I guess that really doesn't matter too much, though. Sorry, but I cannot find the link you describe. First of all, I do not monitor new page creation specifically, but rather I sometimes follow activities on Special:RecentChanges - mostly looking for vandalism when I'm bored. I am using Twinkle (added it to monobook.js a few months ago), but I see no patrolling option on the screen or in the code. According to this I should be seeing the link on diffs, but that does not appear to be the case. Mistress of the Robes

That's a tricky one. Part of the problem is that Queens Consort, Queens Regnant, and Princesses of Wales could all have a Mistress of the Robes, so I'm not sure quite what you'd put in the column heading. If you look at [1], there's a separate list for all the important officials in the households of the Queens Consort, Princes and Princesses of Wales, etc. So maybe we could reserve Mistress of the Robes for the Mistresses to Queens Regnant (Victoria & Elizabeth II) and spin the rest off into household pages, but that would leave the original page pretty sparse. Closing RfA's

Hey there Iron, A few comments about closing RfA's. First, it is generally wise never to close an RfA where you have !voted. Part of the reason why I don't !vote in obvious snowballs is because I want to be available to close it as a NOTNOW. Second, generally I would wait until there are several people who have chimed in, but in this case, with only 111 edits, an immediate closure is ok. I like there to be a few opposes so the candidate feels like they received a shot and that it isn't just one person. But with only 111 edits, immediate closure is ok. Third, and this is why I really came by, you did a better job on closing an RfA than I did my first time. My first closure resulted in somebody having to clean up a mess. That being said, there are three things you forgot:

1 and 2: For unsuccessful nominations, add the summary to Wikipedia:List of failed RfAs (Chronological) and Wikipedia:Unsuccessful adminship candidacies or Wikipedia:Unsuccessful bureaucratship candidacies.

3: This is THE most important step.

Again, you did a better job than I did my first 3 or 4 times, so my hats off to you. Just remember to check everything at Wikipedia:CRAT#Promotions when you close an RfA.---Balloonman ^PoppaBalloon 16:15, 22 December 2008 (UTC)

Hi Iron, just wanted to say thanks for giving me tough time at my RfA. No complaints, it was all fair!:-) After I had withdrawn, I noticed you had left a question and because it felt a bit rhetorical I wanted to get back to you. And I'd also appreciate your comments if any. You don't think No Personal Attacks, allowing editors to easily review your work, the ability to make firm decisions and to avoid conflicts of interest are things you'd consider to be important?

No Personal Attacks, it is important of course. Nobody should ever comment on contributors but on content only. That would be so in the perfect world. In the real world personal attacks happen in wikipedia all the time. I've never made a big deal out of it in case it was directed against me. In case it has been persistent, I've asked kindly to check on WP:NPA by saying something like, please comment on my contributions not on me.
I'm also human, and in case I see a known nationalist POV editor boldly removing sourced and referenced facts from an article,(what in this case was a decision of the European Parliament) facts that she/he "doesn't like", and I had similar problems with the guy for ages, it can happen that all that good faith might just go thin. And the territory between nationalistically motivated edits and the editor get blurred and you just spell it out. Not that I'm proud of it that I've directly accused someone of being a nationalist. So hope that it is an answer to your question.

Allowing editors to easily review your work, the ability to make firm decisions would be important of course once you put it that way.

Avoid conflicts of interest, sure , if someone is up to advertising or promoting something for their personal advantage, an encyclopedia is not a place for that.--Termer (talk) 08:01, 24 December 2008 (UTC)

I recently added an article on Sakanaction the Japanese band. I see there are many other music articles. Like Utada Hikaru, the pillows, Ayumi Hamasaki, etc. All of which are also from Japan. Also there are countless articles on American and British artists. But i wanted to put up an article on my favorite Japanese band. I don't understand why Sakanaction can not have an article. Deleting the article would very improper on your part. Doing so would obviously be an act againist freedom of speech. The articles quotes references, they are in bold type. Deleting would only reveal your bias and fears. There are articles on criticism of many books, but when you do about the talmud, I Jew am accused of being anti-Semite, disgusting. It's not in an essay form, it lists many, many references including profession books, websites, and quotations from books, and Jewish scholars. It is in point form to help make adjustment. I now have a copy of the article so don't think about about trying to delete it I and others will just put back on! Deletion of Chicago Film Producers Alliance Page

Hi, TexasAndriod upset the 85 members of the Chicago Film Producers Alliance by deleting the page that I posted. The reason he gave was "A7" - something about not having a legitimate reason for our article. CFPA has 85 producers who have completed award winning films. One of our members is Kartemquin Films (Hoops Dreams) and are currently up for an Oscar. How is an alliance of 85 producers, a group that is winning awards and is open to the public, not worth noting in Wikipedia? If this is not worthy, on what grounds do you include Warners Bros and other film company and organizations? I don't know what to do, I tried editing my article everyday to make it better. I am not on a rant, I speak mildly, and calm. I apologized to you for upsetting you! Thank-you for showing me some dignity I respect and appreciate that. I want to apologize and say I didn’t plan or wish to cause you any stress or frustration annoyance you have endured that I might have caused. I also apologize if you went through the holocaust, a dark period in history. I'd like say this in a respectfully and politely in a calm manner to you ironholds I was not playing any "card", I was making an appeal, I don’t like being call a anti-Semite, or anti-Jewish which other Wikipedia users has called me, also I had statements referring my research as based on medieval gentile rethoric discriminating against the Jewish people, these statements hurt me even literally to bottom of stomach and inward parts. I've declined this request for now, as the editor has not edited for over four hours, and AIV is really not the right place for a discussion of this sort (the behaviour is less out-and-out vandalism and more a behavioural issue). Might I suggest AN or AN/I as a better place to bring this up? I share your concerns about this user, but I don't think that they're quite beyond hope yet. Yeah, I know AN/I can be a bit heavy (not to mention just a little too prone to drama at times). With that said though, I think the situation is salvageable; the edits appear to be made in good faith, he/she just seems more than a little clueless at times. ACC (don't ask me why it's not ACI) currently has an IRC channel with a bot, where most of us have the 'new account created' text given out by the bot stalked, so most requests get dealt within a minute or so - you just have to be there. #wikipedia-en-accounts is the one. As for the notice, you just have to create [[User talk:Ironholds/Editnotice], and it will automatically plonk whatever you put on there as the notice. I'll go over to the project now. Re:Royal Society awards FT

Sounds good, but such a list should encompass all the awards, medals, and lectures listed in that section, meaning that you would have to bring them up to FL (or if they have less than 10 items, have them thoroughly peer reviewed).
