Help me!
[edit]This help request has been answered. If you need more help, you can , contact the responding user(s) directly on their user talk page, or consider visiting the Teahouse. |
I edited a page having a "dubious -- discuss" tag on it. The tag referred to a numerical value which was off by some four orders of magnitude. I corrected the value, left a comment on the page in angle brackets with !--, and then had to decide what to do about the tag. I just deleted it. Is that appropriate? The value as amended is no longer, in my opinion, dubious.

- If you feel that a maintenance tag is no longer applicable, you generally can remove it, but you should be prepared to defend your edit if asked. Also, please only use one method to seek assistance(i.e asking at the Teahouse or using a help me tag) to avoid duplication. 331dot (talk) 19:55, 23 October 2019 (UTC)
