West Virginia Candidate for US Collaboration of the Week
Hey Zachary! I've added West Virginia's main article to the list of candidates for US Collaboration of the Week. It's in much need of reorganization and lacks a lot of information. I was hoping that with some extra exposure and some wiki teamwork we can get the article up to par with other U.S. state articles. Please voice your comments and vote at the US Collaboration page. Thanks! --Caponer 18:40, 16 January 2006 (UTC)
Request of verification about Series D of Japanese Banknotes
Hello, Iridescence. Thank you for proofreading my writings and correcting errors. I added external links to the article "Japanese yen" as sources. But they are written in Japanese, English is not available. Sources written in English was not found. I'm sorry, but would you verify sources and remove {not verified}? If you can't understand Japanese, please use any automatic translation services. (i.g. Alta Vista Babel Fish Translation)[1] Tan90deg 01:11, 21 April 2006 (UTC)
Welcome to Esperanza
Welcome, Iridescence/Archive 1, to Esperanza, the Wikipedia member association! As you might know, all the Esperanzians share one important goal: the success of this encyclopedia. Within that, we then attempt to strengthen the community bonds, and be the "approachable" side of the project. All of our ideals are held in the Charter, the governing document of the association.
Now that you are a member, you might be interested in some of our programs. A quite important program is the StressUnit, which seeks to support editors who have encountered any stress from their Wikipedia events, and are seeking to leave the project. So far, Esperanza can be credited with the support and retention of several users. We have a calendar of special events, member birthdays, and other holidays that you can add to and follow.
In addition to these projects, several more missions of Esperanza are in development, and are currently being created at Esperanza/Possibles.
I encourage you to take an active voice in the running of Esperanza. We have a small government system, headed by our Administrator general, Celestianpower, and guided by the Advisory Committee, JoanneB, Titoxd and FireFox. The April elections have begun.
If you have any other questions, concerns, comments, or general ideas, Esperanzian or otherwise, know that you can always contact me via email or talk page. Alternatively, you could communicate with fellow users via our IRC channel, #wikipedia-esperanza (which is also good for a fun chat or two :). If you're new to IRC, please see the IRC Tutorial, which was written by one of our members. I thank you for joining Esperanza, and look forward to working with you in making Wikipedia a better place to be!
Thanks! _-M o P-_ 03:24, 21 April 2006 (UTC)
I'd also like to welcome you. — nathanrdotcom (T • C • W) 03:44, 21 April 2006 (UTC)

Old Skool Esperanzial note
Since this isn't the result of an AC meeting, I have decided to go Old Skool. This note is to remind you that the elections are taking place now and will end at 23:50 UTC on 2006-04-29. Please vote here. Thanks. --Celestianpower háblame 20:42, 23 April 2006 (UTC)
Cleanup help
Hi, Composite pattern has been at WP:CBM since April of 2005. I've been burning through these but I can't clean this one because I have NO IDEA AT ALL what it means. I saw your username over at computer cotw so I thought you might be able to help or find someone who can...Thanks Kaisershatner 20:21, 24 April 2006 (UTC)
Esperanza elections
Hi, how are you? I'm sorry to inform you that your vote was discounted at the Esperanza Advisory Council elections because your name was not on the list of eligible voters. To be eligible to vote, you had to be a member before April 6th, and you joined on April 21st. [2] Don't worry, there's always next election! Welcome to Esperanza, and let me know if there's anything I can do for you. :o) EWS23 | (Leave me a message!) 04:38, 29 April 2006 (UTC)

A short Esperanzial update
As you may have gathered, discussions have been raging for about a week on the Esperanza talk page as to the future direction of Esperanza. Some of these are still ongoing and warrant more input (such as the idea to scrap the members list altogether). However, some decisions have been made and the charter has hence been amended. See what happened. Basically, the whole leadership has had a reshuffle, so please review the new, improved charter.
As a result, we are electing 4 people this month. They will replace JoanneB and Pschemp and form a new tranche A, serving until December. Elections will begin on 2006-07-02 and last until 2006-07-09. If you wish to run for a Council position, add your name to the list before 2006-07-02. For more details, see Wikipedia:Esperanza/June 2006 elections.
Thanks and kind, Esperanzial regards, —Celestianpower háblame 16:00, 23 June 2006 (UTC)

Your sig
While your signature is very pretty it takes up 6 lines when in edit mode. This is confusing and makes it difficult to see a page in edit mode. For example, it just made me miss edit AIV as you can see here. I therefore suggest that you change to a slightly less code-intensive sig. WP:SIG gives advice about making signatures. JoshuaZ 06:38, 8 November 2006 (UTC)
Almost as pretty and much nicer on the edit window. JoshuaZ 07:07, 8 November 2006 (UTC)
*Confused.*
Why did you revert my vandalism reversion at Burger? Oo -WarthogDemon 19:45, 8 November 2006 (UTC)
- Nevermind, I see it was a mistake lol. Sorry for the confusion. Take care. :) -WarthogDemon 19:46, 8 November 2006 (UTC)
Hi, take a look at your revert[3]. Apparently, we both have been trying to automatically revert vandalism, and both reverted to the wrong version:) MaxSem 22:18, 8 November 2006 (UTC)
Did you really mean to report Example User (talk · contribs) at WP:AIV? --Daniel Olsen 05:37, 9 November 2006 (UTC)
It might not have been your intention, but your recent edit removed content from Bully (video game). Please be careful not to remove content from Wikipedia without a valid reason, which you should specify in the edit summary or on the article's talk page. Take a look at our welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. Thank you. [Iridescence] talk • contrib 19:35, 9 November 2006 (UTC)
- I double checked the edit history with the edit you reverted, and all I did was revert a POV violation.--Vercalos 19:44, 9 November 2006 (UTC)
- I'm really sorry. I completely messed that up. I've been using a script that looks for blanked pages and I've been getting too many false positives recently. I apologize; I won't revert it again. I have also removed your warn. Sorry once again. [Iridescence] talk • contrib 19:50, 9 November 2006 (UTC)
- It's alright. That's why I usually look through the content of an edit before I revert it though. Considering your script is giving you false positives, you might want to start reading through the edit before you revert it.--Vercalos 19:52, 9 November 2006 (UTC)
- By the way, you have to make sure your script is approved before you use it, but I forgot where to do that..--Vercalos 19:53, 9 November 2006 (UTC)

I'm just working through this blocking and one thing which jumps out at me is the length of your signature, when I edit to remove blocked entries it seems to take up quit a few lines in the edit box which (for a simple soul like myself) makes it more difficult to see things. Any chance you would consider simplifying it? --pgk 20:12, 9 November 2006 (UTC)
- Much better, thanks --pgk 20:24, 9 November 2006 (UTC)
