WikiProject Warriors Role Call
Shrewpelt (talk) 22:15, 16 December 2007 (UTC)
Okay. -moves name back into active- Thanks for the notice! IceUnshattered (talk) 23:30, 16 December 2007 (UTC)
Plots
You need to stop focusing on expanding the plots on the Warriors articles and, instead, focus on reducing them. They are inappropriately long as they are and your expansions only increases the issue. Thanks, Metros (talk) 23:48, 3 January 2008 (UTC)
I KNOW. But they're so choppy I can't help but extend them to clarify. But thanks for the notice. I'll go back and see what i can do about it. IceUnshattered (talk) 23:50, 3 January 2008 (UTC)

- I see I couldn't explain fully on your talk page; I'm sorry. I tried to imply the fact that us Wikipedians are trying to give the best representation possible for a character; in this we prefer anime screenshots and only face shots. ALSO, if you want to upload a picture, make sure you do it in a separate file, instead of replacing the image in that file. When you do so, make sure you get all the appropriate copyright info. That's important. Then go on the character talk page and discuss the idea of replacing the image. IceUnshattered (talk) 22:35, 21 May 2008 (UTC)
Question
Hello IceUnshattered, I noticed you revert vandalism occasionally. Would you like me to grant your account rollback rights to make vandalism-reverting easier for you? Just remember that rollback, if granted, should only be used to revert vandalism, and should not be used to revert good-faith edits or to revert war. Thanks. Acalamari 01:51, 10 June 2008 (UTC)
- I'd appreciate it if I was granted rollback rights. And I understand about only reverting vandalism. IceUnshattered (talk) 19:36, 10 June 2008 (UTC)
- Rollback granted. :) For additional information, and also practice, you may wish to see Wikipedia:New admin school/Rollback. Good luck. Acalamari 22:28, 10 June 2008 (UTC)
- Thank you! I'm also grateful for the Rollback "school" ^^. IceUnshattered (talk) 00:33, 11 June 2008 (UTC)

Hello, Icy!
It's Princess Rebel. Do you wanna chat on my discussion page or on yours?
You seem tons better at all this Wikipedia stuff than me, and that's not fair, because you're only a few months older than me. Poof.
Reply soooooooon, either on this page or on mine, whichever you prefer (I have a feeling it will be this page).
This user wants to be your friend. |

Artemis Fowl: The Opal Deception Plot summary
You need to make the plot summary as short as the one on Artemis Fowl (novel) (or close to it). That's why no one else in the WikiProject has gotten to it yet, it's too hard :) Calvin 1998 (t-c) 22:41, 11 June 2008 (UTC)
- I know. I'm trimming it down little by little, eventually I'll get there. It IS hard. I was wondering why no one would go there ^^. IceUnshattered (talk) 22:42, 11 June 2008 (UTC)
- By the way, if you could help me out here, I'd appreciate it. The thing needs a bunch of references out of the first book, which I currently don't have. Calvin 1998 (t-c) 22:44, 11 June 2008 (UTC)
- Ouch! That page does need help. I think one of my friends has a copy; I'll try and get it tomorrow. IceUnshattered (talk) 22:53, 11 June 2008 (UTC)

- I've prepared a plot synopsis for the Opal Deception at User:Calvin 1998/Sandbox. What do you think? Calvin 1998 (t-c) 21:49, 19 June 2008 (UTC)
- That's definitely much better than the current plot. Just one thing -- "The rest of the story" sounds a bit odd/out of place. Maybe change it to "Afterwards, the story follow the struggle between..."? Thanks so much. IceUnshattered (talk) 21:56, 19 June 2008 (UTC)
You've gotta be kidding me.
The thing is, "insure" is used alone, i.e. "I'll insure my laptop" to describe getting some sort of insurance for something. "Ensure" is used when you are ensuring that something happens. Make sense? StardustDragon 14:23, 23 June 2008 (UTC)
- Did you read my definition? Yes, that is one meaning for insure, but another is to "guarantee against loss and harm". The website I directed you to gives a fifth definition for verbs (w/o object), which is "to issue or procure an insurance policy." That's the one I think you're using.
- "Vizard" tehcnically means mask in English, but we don't refer to Ichigo's hollow mask as "Ichigo's hollow vizard." Point is, it doesn't really matter, and at least to me it sounds rather awkward. I'm going to reword it so neither is used, that cool? StardustDragon 01:55, 27 June 2008 (UTC)
Good idea. And, I'm sorry it took me so long to reply, I was in London with no computer. Anyways, thanks for your feedback. I consider this discussion closed as of now. IceUnshattered (talk) 14:14, 1 July 2008 (UTC)
Edit
I think, if the information is not false, then this section can be retitled to Some facts/Facts/Trivia etc. Otolemur crassicaudatus (talk) 19:47, 1 July 2008 (UTC)
- Wikipedia discourages trivia sections. I don't think that whole thing with "smartie" belongs at all, and the second comment could be moved. IceUnshattered (talk) 19:50, 1 July 2008 (UTC)
Can you help?
I see you were listed as a participant in the League of Copy-Editors so it seems likely you can ... The thing is the Military history wikiproject urgently needs prose pros to help with our best articles. Milhist covers a broad range of interesting and varied subjects from film to biography, battles to weaponry, and Roman emperors to twentieth-century dictators. In Milhist, A-Class has become the last port of call before FAC and we are looking for people to help identify prose and MoS issues at A-Class A-Class Reviews and help fix them prior to featured article candidacy. We also have a copy-editing section in our Logistics Dept and that can always use experienced copy-editors. For most of our articles, you don't need to be a specialist in the subject matter, just good with words.
If you think you can help, please do! Thanks for your time, --ROGER DAVIES talk 04:19, 3 July 2008 (UTC)

Images
Hi there. (You're good at editing wikipedia, right?) On your userpage it says you try to delete excess (can't spell excess so sorry if its spelled wrong) images. Well about I don't know a week ago I deleted one of the images from the Hanon Hōshō page because there was two pictures of her in her idol form, and in case people wanted it kept I asked if it was okay to delete one of the pictures. No one replied though so I just went ahead and deleted it because it didn't look very good the way it was before and because you seem to know what you are doing maybe could you compare what it looked like before (with the picture) and what it looks like now (without the picture) and tell me if it looks better or worse? Sorry this message ended up being kind of long.... ♥Tory~♥Amulet♥Heart♥ 21:24, 1 July 2008 (UTC)
- Normally, I don't generally delete them, I just try to discourage putting too many of them on a page...but I'll look at it. Expect an update here in ten minutes at most, or so. I'll check rightaway :) IceUnshattered (talk) 21:39, 1 July 2008 (UTC)
- Okay, I checked it. Apparently, before your edit "(revert this edit if you need to, but I don't think there needs to be two pictures of Hanon in her idol form)", the image was some Mizuiro Pearl Voice image. Was this put on IfD? I searched for it, but I couldn't find it. Apparently, she says "Mizuiro Pearl Voice" and turns into her Idol form thing (sorry, not familiar with Hanon Hōshō). Does that mean that they're the same thing? The Mizuiro img was turned into Super Idol img, and I can't tell what the Mizuiro image looked like, so I believe it was put on image for deletion (IfD) and deleted. Right now, there's a normal picture (human form?) in the infobox, a mermaid image, and a super idol image. Everything looks okay to me. IceUnshattered (talk) 21:53, 1 July 2008 (UTC)
- The mizuiro pearl voice and the other picture of Hanon in an idol form are pretty much the same only they are in different styles. I'm glad it look okay though. Sorry for asking that so randomly, I was just wondering about it for a while and I followed the link to your page from Princess Rebel's page and you seem to know what you're doing more than I do. ♥Tory~♥Amulet♥Heart♥ 23:19, 1 July 2008 (UTC)

- Just so you know I wasn't blocked because of something I did. It was my stupid little brother who created a whole bunch of vandalism accounts and an admin thought it was me because we both use the same computer and therefore the same IP address. ♥Tory~♥Amulet♥Heart♥ 16:56, 5 July 2008 (UTC)

Dear Mr Ice...
I do not know what Colleconion's problem is. But he is adding tags to pages for no reason. Janet Vaughan is DBE and FRS, he is playing a little game please do not encourage him. I am not a dog (talk) 20:50, 18 July 2008 (UTC)
- First of all, I will be referred to as a "miss", as my gender happens to be female. Secondly, if you are in disagreement with Collectonian's actions, then she'll take the article to AFD or PROD, possibly. If she does so, then you can contest it with valid information. If she or anyone else doesn't, then the article needs to be improved, or it may be put on deletion again. Secondly, please think twice before you do anything, as I know Collectonian to be a respectable and experienced editor and I highly doubt she is putting this article on Speedy Deletion just for the fun of it. Thanks! IceUnshattered[ t | c ] 20:53, 18 July 2008 (UTC)

Misleading edit summaries
I notice that you have made edit summaries saying "take it to prod" when in fact nominating an article for speedy deletion. This is misleading and disruptive. An example is here [1]. DuncanHill (talk) 21:38, 18 July 2008 (UTC)
- Another example [2]. DuncanHill (talk) 21:40, 18 July 2008 (UTC)
- I'm sorry. I did not realise that these edit summaries were disruptive, and I will not continue to write such summaries. IceUnshattered[ t | c ] 00:59, 19 July 2008 (UTC)
Hey, Why?
```` The reference you deleted was a Christian Science Monitor article that specifically stated the murder of Latasha Harlins was one of the (among many) precursors to the 1992 Los Angeles riots. That was why I ref'd the article. 68.183.55.100 (talk) 00:23, 22 July 2008 (UTC)
- A) Please make a new section for your new topic. B) Format an inline citation, and use the {{reflist}} template in the reference section.
Hello. Why did you remove my edit on potential superpower? I was just going to edit the source and it was gone. Did you have any other reason? If not, then I have a source and I was just going to edit it. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 83.249.133.154 (talk) 20:48, 17 July 2008 (UTC)
- Before I reply, please identify yourself by signing your post by typing four tildes (~~~~) after your post, thus signing it. Then we can discuss why I removed it. And I'm glad you have a source--is it reliable, though? Could I take a look at it, please? Thank you! IceUnshattered (talk) 20:50, 17 July 2008 (UTC)
Sorry:P I often forget that.[3]. Is that a good enough source? From the guy's own website. Parag Khanna is Director of the Global Governance Initiative and Senior Research Fellow in the American Strategy Program at the New America Foundation. He is author of The Second World: Empires and Influence in the New Global Order, so I think he's worth mentioning. (Swedish pirate (talk) 22:49, 17 July 2008 (UTC))
- After diving into URL you provided, it looks fine. If you have RefToools enabled (go to your preferences -> gadgets -> enable RefTools) you can click on the little " {{CITE}} " button on your edit menu (same row as the bold, italic, hyperlink buttons) and let that format the ref for you. Otherwise, the citation's never going to look as good. Anyways, put the info right back w/ citation. He is definitely worth mentioning. Anyways, thanks for the prompt reply! IceUnshattered (talk) 22:55, 17 July 2008 (UTC)
Maybe you should do it:P My wikipedia capabilities are limited--83.249.133.154 (talk) 09:04, 18 July 2008 (UTC)
Articles Needing Copy Edit
Hello former LOCE member :)
This is an invitation for you to join a brand-new WikiProject that aims to improve the articles tagged for copy edit. This is pretty important to Wikipedia because there are now over 4,000 such articles, some of which need quite a bit of help. This is not a clone of the LOCE because we will not deal with requests for copy edits, but will happily make improvements to articles at our own pace. If you're interested, sign up at the project page!
The RickK Anti-Vandalism Barnstar | ||
I've been seeing your name pop up on a lot of wrestling articles with vandalism reverts. Keep up the good work and thanks for the help. WP:PW articles tend to attract more then average levels of vandalism. Cheers, Gavyn Sykes (talk)` |
- I don't go to certain categories of articles to look at vandalism, it must just be the higher lvls of vandalism there. Anyways, thank you so much! -hugs- My first barnstar. Now I'm excited. :) IceUnshattered[ t | c ] 20:10, 24 July 2008 (UTC)
What the hell? Why did you revert my edit? It wasn't "unconstructive" or "testing",it was good faith. XxJoshuaxX (talk) 20:46, 25 July 2008 (UTC)
- Firstly, can you refrain from saying "what the hell"? It doesn't paint a good image, nor is it necessary. Firstly, "possible cover" and "other possible cover" aren't exactly good ways to put it. However, once I looked in, the current revision's image doesn't seem to qualify as fair use. Since the album hasn't been released, and I don't want to get you blocked for violating WP:3RR, why don't you first gain consensus on the article's talk page? IceUnshattered[ t | c ] 20:51, 25 July 2008 (UTC)
- If any consensus should be gained,it should be on why the other cover should be removed,because both covers were in the article with no problems until today. XxJoshuaxX (talk) 20:55, 25 July 2008 (UTC)
- That's one point of view. Maybe others will agree with you, maybe not. But first gain consensus, you need community feedback if you want to avoid an edit war. IceUnshattered[ t | c ] 20:57, 25 July 2008 (UTC)
- If other editors disagree with me,they should go to the talk page,since both covers were used with no problems until today (like I said before). XxJoshuaxX (talk) 20:58, 25 July 2008 (UTC)
- I will begin a section on the talk page myself if no one else will. It is clear to me that this is an ongoing edit conflict that you are involved in and possibly edit war that might get you and possibly other users blocked. I see you requested page protection. Is full protection really necessary? It's not going to solve any problems, just prevent a current one from going on...until the protection is lifted, that is, and then it's probably going to start all over again. I am going to the talk page. Be careful about WP:3RR, Joshua. IceUnshattered[ t | c ] 21:02, 25 July 2008 (UTC)
Vandalism Defcon Edit
Hi, you recently edited the vandalism defcon metre here but for some reason (I believe it's your signature), every page where this template appeared was displaying in a smaller font. Perhaps your signature has an unclosed tag or something but you can see the effect it had on the rest of the page in the link I provided above (look at the template documentation) ——RyanLupin • (talk) 22:25, 25 July 2008 (UTC)
