Speedy deletion nomination of The Bridges at Toko-Ri (novel)
[edit]A tag has been placed on The Bridges at Toko-Ri (novel), requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G1 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page appears to have no meaningful content or history, and the text is unsalvageably incoherent. If the page you created was a test, please use the sandbox for any other experiments you would like to do. You may also wish to consider using a Wizard to help you create articles - see the Article Wizard. Feel free to leave a message on my talk page if you have any questions about this.
If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}}
to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the page does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that they userfy the page or have a copy emailed to you. This is an automated message from CorenSearchBot. I have performed a web search with the contents of Miracle in Seville (novel), and it appears to include a substantial copy of http://www.abebooks.com/9780679418221/Miracle-Seville-Michener-James-A-0679418229/plp. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material; such additions will be deleted. You may use external websites as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. See our copyright policy for further details.
This message was placed automatically, and it is possible that the bot is confused and found similarity where none actually exists. If that is the case, you can remove the tag from the article and it would be appreciated if you could drop a note on the maintainer's talk page. CorenSearchBot (talk) 16:26, 5 February 2010 (UTC)
2 Feb 2010 - Hi Ikon - I notice you are working on the same author as me. I appreciate the help. I made changes in the James Michener template (on the bottom of his pages) to reflect the pages you've added, and I edited your article on Miracle in Seville to show that it is a work of fiction. Thanks - Bruce Cunningham (talk) 20:09, 6 February 2010 (UTC)
Return to paradise
[edit]Um, if it's a collection of short stories then it probably isn't a novel. :) Kayau Voting IS evil 15:07, 18 February 2010 (UTC)
