Disambiguation link notification for January 7
Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Jonny Polonsky, you added links pointing to the disambiguation pages Bass and Organ (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Song Name
Hi,
You have randomly changed the title of a song from, "Slut Like You" to, "Just Like You". I have tried to correct it but my edits keep getting reverted. Can you please stop changing these edits? Thankyou :)
Hey. I added some references to Clark Bishop (ice hockey) and linked the article on another article (Cape Breton Screaming Eagles). Just letting ya know. If there's anything else I need to change just gimme a shout. TSyinide (talk) 01:02, 17 January 2014 (UTC)

Recent change made
I dream of horses,
I'm sorry about the change I made to Horst Wessel Lied. The change that I made was very immature. I apologize for messing with the song and trying to make it something funny, and I'm glad you reverted it. Sincerely,

Brad Temkin
Hey there. I edited the bio for Brad Temkin so it, to me, seems less like a resume description. I'm still not sure if there is anything else that makes it seem that way. I edited it to follow the format of the photographer Brian Ulrich's successful wikipedia page (I did not create that one). See: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Brian_Ulrich ---- Let me know. Thanks. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Szidarich (talk • contribs) 18:24, 17 January 2014 (UTC)
- Actually, I was more concerned about whether Brad Temkin even qualified for an article--Arxiloxos is the one who added the "like resume" tag, and I think that might be in response to the fact that it's mostly a list of his exhibits. --I dream of horses (T) @ 19:58, 17 January 2014 (UTC)

Buddy Wachter
Please reconsider your opinion on the Buddy Wachter article. I submitted earlier today. Budy Wachter is in the Banjo Player Hall of Fame and is already referenced in several Wikipedia articles. He is internationally know in Banjo circles and deserves a Wikipedia article. Thank you. mdesimone6 Mdesimone6 (talk) 23:23, 19 January 2014 (UTC)
- It wasn't deleted because Bobby doesn't deserve a Wikipedia article, but because of the tone of the article. --I dream of horses (T) @ 01:54, 20 January 2014 (UTC)
- Exactly so. I deleted the article because every single sentence in it was unambiguously promotional in tone.
- Mdesimone6, please read WP:NOTPROMOTION and especially WP:NPOV before proceeding further. This could be a decent article, but it would require a complete rewrite. ~Amatulić (talk) 02:56, 20 January 2014 (UTC)

Everything on the Gary Community School Corporation page is accurate and direct from their corporate website. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Rymonahan (talk • contribs) 05:42, 23 January 2014 (UTC)
- The tone you'll use while writing an encyclopedia is going to be different than one would use on their own website.
- The fact that it's from their corporate website makes it even more concerning, due to the unique copyright situation of Wikipedia--I doubt you'll want to have anyone in the world distribute, make money off of, or modify the website text, so long as they attribute said text back to you, but that's how almost everything is copyrighted here . --I dream of horses (T) @ 05:49, 23 January 2014 (UTC)
Hi there... I'm also an RC patroller, and have been using Huggle for several years. I have not started beta testing Huggle 3 yet, as I was afraid at first of "breaking" my personal config. I was curious what you thought about it so far. Is it worth installing and trying out? Does it seem to be working well for you? Anything I need to know before installing it? Thanks in advance, —Josh3580talk/hist 16:39, 23 January 2014 (UTC)
- Just FYI--if you use Windows, being as cautious as you are, probably best to stick to huggle two.
- But otherwise, totally worth it! You have to report to AIV manually, but there's a "Hey, this user is already at level four, you wanna report?" prompt for that. I'm sure that will be fixed as HG3 is developed. There's a command for "This is a good edit", which gives a welcome message to users with an empty talk page. You use terminal pretty intensively to install it, but if you use a non-Windows OS, there's something you're familiar with. --I dream of horses (T) @ 16:46, 23 January 2014 (UTC)
Contatta Deletion
Hello, I was in progress of creating/editing the Contatta page when you marked it for speedy deletion. The company is valid and has received early award and accolades. I appreciate your review before marking for deletion. Jenny Carnie (talk) 17:28, 23 January 2014 (UTC)
- I just put the speedy deletion back up. I appreciate you letting an administrator review the article, and letting them remove the speedy deletion tag if they think it's valid. --I dream of horses (T) @ 23:22, 23 January 2014 (UTC)
- The article has been deleted. As I noted on User talk:Jenny Carnie, this article was previously created (by User:Jcarnie) and deleted in October 2013. The author appears to be using multiple accounts. --Hadal (talk) 00:55, 24 January 2014 (UTC)
Hard Rock Hotel and Casino
I copied a part of the Anna Nicole Smith article because she was found dead in room 607 at the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel and Casino in Hollywood, Florida. I did not think this was vandalism, because this is a true statement, because I copied it from another article. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 75.151.9.245 (talk • contribs)
- That may be so, but there is no reason to place it in the main article, let alone in the lead. Drmies (talk) 23:34, 23 January 2014 (UTC)

hey I'm the person editing shabazz napier please leave it untouched. don't worry, I'm the biggest Napier fan out there. What I said in the sections NBA draft and style of play were completely unnecessary and i felt that it overrated him a bit too much. sorry for the hassle. Why am I being accused of vandalism?
I am working on the page for Satirical hip-hop with a group of friends, and inserted Eminem as an example (he's one of the most prominent satirical rappers of the 2000s decade) but my edit was reverted and I received a threat on my talk page from you. What's this about? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 122.161.12.192 (talk) 07:29, 26 January 2014 (UTC)

- I have concerns over whether or not she qualifies for an article on Wikipedia. --I dream of horses (T) @ 21:04, 28 January 2014 (UTC)
- (talk page stalker) To expand, Wikipedia has criteria for inclusion. Not just every subject gets to have a Wikipedia article. In the current case, the specific guidelines are spelled out at WP:POLITICIAN. In a nutshell, a person who has declared a candidacy in a senatorial primary, who has not yet even been nominated by their party to fun for office, is not a likely candidate for an encyclopedia article. WikiDan61ChatMe!ReadMe!! 21:07, 28 January 2014 (UTC)
She is a democratic candidate for United States Senate her opponents have a page. The campaign has been referenced in multiple news publications and the campaign has gained statewide and national attention. She is also endorsed by several public officials.
It would not make sense that her opponents were noteworthy for a page and she isnt if she is considered to be a contender in the race. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Tx20CharlieG (talk • contribs) 21:09, 28 January 2014 (UTC)
- We have pages that have fallen through the cracks and really shouldn't be on Wikipedia. If that isn't the case, it will be bought up during the discussion. --I dream of horses (T) @ 21:12, 28 January 2014 (UTC)

I have added references and the article is under construction. I understand that you are trying to make Wiki cleaner but please make sure some time has passed after the article was created before you propose deletion. Vandygal (talk) 02:36, 29 January 2014 (UTC)
- On biographies of living people, it's important to have references immediately--being "under construction" is not an explanation for not having references. --I dream of horses (T) @ 03:53, 29 January 2014 (UTC)
